Main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of service quality and dimensions of perceived institutional image; and effect of perceived institutional image and perceived service quality in pre-school education facilities. Two models were developed for that purpose. Perceived service quality was evaluated in five dimensions (empathy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and tangibles) and perceived institutional image was evaluated in four dimensions (quality image, institutional communication, social image and institutional perspective). Influence of independent variable on dependent variable was mentioned in both of two models. Sample of the study consists of 250 families who use service provided by pre-schools in Kayseri. Data was collected by the way of a questionnaire which formed in the basis of two scales named as “servperf scale” and “institutional image scale”. Factor analysis, KMO test and regression analysis were used in order to test data. Findings indicate that there was a positive affect each other perceived service quality and perceived institutional image.

AGRESIJA I NASILNA PONAŠANJA DJECE PREDŠKOLSKE DOBI

Author(s): Anita Imre / Language(s): Bosnian,Croatian,Serbian Issue: 9/2024

Aggressiveness is most pronounced in preschool age, and the reason for this is the usual behavior for that age, such as outbursts of anger and irritable behaviors that disappear in early school age. We speak of violence between children when one or more children repeatedly and intentionally disturb, attack or injure another child who cannot defend himself. In the last 20 years, research in this area has focused on numerous risk and protective factors for the development of violence among children. When the family, which is the primary socialization agent, represents a model of violent behavior, children learn such violent behavior and transfer it to other life situations and the environment in which they grow up. Knowing the aforementioned risk factors and their effects, the task of society, educators and parents is to focus on creating intervention programs that would be targeted at changing parental behavior and developing positive parenting, thus preventing the development of violence among children. The paper analyzes risk factors as well as protective factors and questions the methods and models of preventive programs in order to prevent or reduce the occurrence of aggression and violent behavior among children.

IDENTIFYING THE LEVEL OF EXPERIMENTATION AND EXPLORATION OF THE PHYSICAL REALITY OF THE PRE-SCHOOLER

Author(s): Eugenia Nadia Ungureanu / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 37/2024

The cognitive structure of an individual is an organized complex that results from the cognitive processes through which he acquires and uses knowledge. New ideas and information can be learned and retained to the extent that relevant or appropriate concepts are clear and available in the individual's cognitive structure and serve as an anchor for new ideas and concepts. When the new information discovered acquires meaning for the child through interaction with existing concepts, learning is meaningful. Using discovery learning in preschool groups, as the predominant type of learning, we noted that discovery learning is most successful when children have preliminary knowledge and go through some structured experiences. The important idea is that preschoolers are more likely to remember the concepts they discover on their own. If the didactic strategy is specific to learning through discovery, the child has a personalization of learning, he will express his points of view, he will ask questions to understand, he will cooperate in an exchange of ideas with his peers, he will be a partner in learning, he will demonstrate what he can do with what he knows.

Motivation is usually defined as an internal state that governs and maintains behavior. It is a two-stage process, further implying that it is necessary to motivate both students and teachers in the teaching process. In this paper, we have implemented the strategy of successful READS reading and mapping on texts on learning motivation. Our goal is to create a "mind map" for teachers that is related to learning motivation. The tabular representation of theoretical orientations helps the teacher to revive his or her own learning. We have also dealt with an innovative way of organizing pupils' activities by avoiding the so lecture form of teaching. It is about motivational preparation for teachers for active teaching. The basic task of the paper is to present the metacognitive process from the teacher's point of view and to point out the importance of a successful selection of successful learning strategies.

This paper is based on theoretical analysis of the research in the field of fractions, with the special attention on students' problems with understanding the representation of fractions in the beginner's level of mathematics teaching. The aim of this paper is a solution of the problem which students encounter while trying to understand representations of fractions. The presented research used for this paper was a guidepost to obstacles students have to deal with while trying to understand the notion of fractions with the intention to overcome them. The paper consists of the two parts. The first one is dedicated to methodical approach of the content related to fractions. In the other part however, the attention is directed towards presentation of the relevant research related to the students' problems with understanding this notion. According to the previous theories and models we came to the following conclusions. Firstly, an adequate manipulation of representative models of the fraction will form the mental image of fraction, specially models from ordinary pupil's life. Secondly, increasing of visual contents about fractions can be done by using a number line. Thirdly, while teaching this subject it is necessary to use innovative models of teaching because using of wide range of teaching systems contributes to better understanding of representations of fractions.

National fairy tales and their particular motifs most often come from the distant past. In their sights, they preserved some of the ancient forms of the then convictions, social organization, institutions and rituals. The paper offers an interpretation of the folk fairy tale "Cinderella" which relies on the old, prehistoric religion, and from this point of view, the motives that were preserved in the fairy tale were analysed. Świat jest w nas... Obrazy siebie i wewnętrznego świata w refleksjach początkujących nauczycielek

Author(s): Grażyna Barabasz / Language(s): Polish Issue: 2/2023

The inspiration to create this text, and previously to conduct research among novice teachers (students of preschool and early school pedagogy) about their self-image and personal, inner world, are the words of my supervisor and educator, Professor Stanisław Dylak. The professor began his lectures on pedeutology for pedagogy students with the statement: “The world is within us.” For many, these words became an impulse to reflect on themselves, and for those more committed, also to reflect on their own identity as a teacher. They became a pretext for conversations with oneself, an answer to the question Who am I? What am I like? What kind of teacher do I want to be? These questions become even more important when we realize, referring to our own biographical experiences, that “The Teacher comes close to eternity. He can never tell where his influence ends” (Henry Brooks Adams). This text is an attempt to get to know the inner world of female pedagogy students who are planning to start working as teachers in the coming months or have just started it. The author designed and conducted qualitative research on a group of 12 beginning teachers – students of preschool and early school pedagogy, and in the presented text she presented the images of themselves and “their” world outlined by them. An interpretive approach was used to analyze the obtained data, which allowed for the presentation of a collective picture of the internal world of teachers at the beginning.
