Социологическая экспедиция как исследовательская практика и форма обучения полевой работе: Введение к дискуссии

Социологическая экспедиция как исследовательская практика и форма обучения полевой работе: Введение к дискуссии

Author(s): / Language(s): Russian Issue: 2/2015

The concept of the “sociological expedition” implies various forms of collaborative empirical research, for which ethnographic fieldwork serves as the fundamental model. While this form of training students (“education through research”) is still relatively rare in Russia, in recent years its visibility has grown and its organizers have become more experienced. We were interested in finding out how, in each particular case, the idea of organizing such training retreats for students developed. What are the peculiarities and practical difficulties involved in conducting this kind of research and training? Finally, what role in the educational process should such research expeditions play? Participants in the discussion below note the importance of collaborative field research to students’ professional socialization and reflect about their own experiences of such trips, expressing regret that academic institutions still do not sufficiently support the practice.

Author(s): Raya Tsocheva-Gencheva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 6/2019

The manuscript presents some results of a screening for writing grasps and postural control among students in the primary school age. During a 15-minute dictation in class, the kids were observed for their writing grasps, the position of the hips (presence or absence of physiological lordosis) and bad scoliotic posture. We observed 128 children, aged 7 – 10 years. elaborated a more profound classification according to different variables, searched for dependencies between the different grasps and the posture. We think that the results we obtain tend to give better understanding and classifying of the writing grasps used from children in the primary school age.

Накъде води този път? Констатации, основани на някои особености на системата на основното и средното образование в България

Author(s): Milen Velushev / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2020

The reform of the secondary education is among the declared priorities of the present state government so the public witnesses a great effort in terms of multiple amendments of the regulatory arrangement and of the organization of the pre-school and school education system. One of the most important steps in this endeavour is the attempt to achieve a formal comparison between the International standard classification of education (ISCED 11) and the national curriculum by setting a firm ceiling of 12 grades for the period of school education as well as introducing elements of the PISA tests in the national external examination. The present study is aiming, with the help of economic principles and methodology, to analyse the current stage of development of that reform. The detailed review of the results by means of discussion the available evidence and of the legal arrangement shows that the measures taken lead to an outcome, different than the one expected by the society. The reasons are many and complex but the main one is that the newly introduced law regulating the secondary education system keeps the old-fashioned philosophy of the abolished law and views the compulsory education as a necessity but does not recognize and incorporate contemporary theories about the psychological and social development of the individuals. As a result, the established rules, first, put too steep obstacles for passing between some of the education levels and second, do not correctly estimate the systematic significance of certain study subjects forming key competencies of the young people in connection with the future demand needs of the labour market. The high frequency of changes in the regulations combined with missing transparency in the moves of the administration create preconditions that obstruct students to put together along-term strategy for improvement of their knowledge, skills, and competencies. The existence of these preconditions means that the students will view each consequent change as a treat for their development and that affects the public interest in their education.

Приоритети на предучилищното образование – тенденции и предизвикателства

Author(s): Vesela Gurova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2020

In the field of education in Bulgaria as an EU member state functioning pre-school institutions are bound to guarantee European competencies. The kindergarten has a legally established and institutionally organized mission in defining the trends for the formulation of topical goals through educational strategies at the municipal and regional level. The new challenges are the promotion and exchange of best practice in the specific educational area, an occasion for the presentation of pre-school education. The use of positive examples in institutional settings discusses the ability of educational institutions to respond to the societal, economic and personal educational needs on which their quality, accessibility, diversity, effectiveness and fairness depend on the Pre-school and School Education Law and educational standards.

Образование в устойчиво развитие и природонаучни компетенции в детската градина

Author(s): Мagdalena Stoyanova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2020

Achieving consensus in society on the role of education and the characteristics of competences for sustainable development requires an institutional plan to adopt a coherent picture of the individual and his or her characteristics, which, on the one hand, differentiate him from others but set common behavioral attitudes. This topic is essential for the sustainable, shared behavior of all people on planet Earth in adapting to climate change and protecting biodiversity. Human nature is a part of it, and it is important from the kindergarten to realize education in sustainable development in understanding and interpreting the natural and social world surrounding the child. Interactive forms for attitudes towards natural and social objects and phenomena (processes) are important. Standards No. 13 for the GEOI set criteria and indicators for its meaningful and organizational achievement in additional forms of interaction. On this basis, the report interprets an experimental design model for sustainable pre-school development.
