- Summary/Abstract:In a world that is more connected than ever, the rise of cyber threats goes beyond borders and languages. This makes getting good cyber threat information really important. Cyber threats are complex and change quickly, so understanding them requires more than just technical know-how; it also involves the cultural and language backgrounds where these threats appear. As companies work to improve their cybersecurity, it becomes clear that gathering and sharing threat intelligence in many languages is crucial. Mistakes due to wrong translations can create serious weaknesses, as key details about cyber threats may be overlooked, which can hurt defensive efforts. Therefore, it is important to look into how language differences affect the success of cyber threat intelligence, highlighting the need for accurate translation services that meet the global demands of cybersecurity problems. The phrase Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) means a complex way of finding, evaluating, and reducing cyber threats using data from different places. It includes collecting and examining threat information to create useful intelligence that organisations can use to improve their security. As the cyber threat scene keeps changing, organisations are increasingly using automated systems to tackle the difficulties caused by the complex and large number of cyber threats. These automated systems gather threat data from many sources, giving organisations reliable and useful intelligence to safeguard their assets and meet these challenges. Yet, the varied nature of this data, which comes from using different programming languages and security tools, makes it hard to understand. Therefore, having a common way or framework for CTI is very important to improve communication and teamwork in the cybersecurity field, highlighting the urgent need for clear translation across languages and systems.

Migration is approached from the perspective of state security, human security and the security of host communities, exploring the social, economic and political implications of this process. Romania, as a European state with a double dimension of migration – massive emigration and increasing immigration – faces challenges such as labor shortages, migrant integration and combating human trafficking. In addition to the difficulties, migration offers economic opportunities and cultural diversity. The paper emphasizes the importance of a balanced approach, combining national security with respect for migrants’ rights, promoting effective integration and social cohesion policies.

- Summary/Abstract:The COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased cybercrime, with phishing emerging as a major threat. Cybercriminals exploited the rapid shift to remote work and increased online activity, using deceptive tactics like phishing emails, SMS scams, and fake websites to steal sensitive information. Advanced phishing techniques, such as spear phishing, BEC, and malware distribution, targeted individuals and organizations globally, including the healthcare sector. Preventing phishing requires a multi-faceted approach: user education, adoption of security measures like 2FA, and international collaboration through frameworks like the Budapest Convention. Raising awareness and implementing robust security practices are essential to safeguarding personal and organizational data in the digital age.

- Summary/Abstract:The issuance of postal stamps (and accompanying postal effects), being an exclusive attribute of a sovereign state, is one of the means by which it can (semi)officially contest another country’s sovereignty over certain territories. Such informational aggressions, especially if perpetrated over long periods of time, generate, strengthen and perpetuate tensions between the respective states. If ignored or unsuccessfully managed by the relevant international organizations, these can escalate into cultural, economic and outright military conflicts, which in our interconnected world pose great dangers to the peace and stability of all states.

- Summary/Abstract:The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) has evolved considerably between 2017 and 2023, both in terms of policy and operational strategy. During this period of time, Frontex was called upon to respond to challenges related to cross-border crime, illegal migration, security crises and threats and cross-border cooperation. The article examines how Frontex's policies and strategies have been adapted and developed to meet these security challenges and how the agency has strengthened its operational and logistical capacity to meet these specific missions. Over time, the agency's role has evolved, initially requiring the function of coordinating border security activities, and then becoming a European Agency with an expanded mandate that includes joint operations, basic and further training, research and support of migration flows, which implicitly meant the administration of the operational infrastructure, human resources and technologies. Also, there are mainly analysed the parts about legislative evolution, inter-institutional collaboration strategies and the impact of new technologies on Frontex's activities and missions, for this mentioned period of time.

- Summary/Abstract:In a time marked by fast globalization and closer ties, the security problems that countries face have changed into complicated issues that go beyond ordinary borders. The connections of today’s world make risks like terrorism, cyber threats, and human trafficking even larger, but they also make it harder to find effective responses to these problems. A key part of this modern situation is the multilingual way of communication, which both helps and hinders teamwork among different cultural and language groups. In this setting, the ability to overcome language gaps is essential for encouraging cooperation and joint action against security threats. This essay will look at the various security challenges that appear in a multilingual and connected world, discussing ways to bridge language barriers and improve cooperative efforts among nations, thus helping to create a safer global environment. When looking at security problems globally, these problems link closely to the difficulties of cultural variety and the ways people communicate in connected societies. As globalisation allows different cultures to mix, cities increasingly act as small versions of wider geopolitical issues, requiring new ways to solve conflicts and bring communities together. Handling diversity in these areas shows how important citizenship and identity are, influencing how people see their roles in society. Also, translating languages in crisis situations is very important for effective communication among different cultural communities. However, despite its crucial role, the part of translation in improving understanding and cooperation during emergencies is often ignored, showing a possible weakness in current crisis management plans. Therefore, it is vital to understand these linked issues to create thorough security solutions in a world with many languages.

In Italy, the launch of the centre-left formula brought the Italian Socialist Party to the government in a parliamentary coalition with the Christian Democrats, the Republican Party, and the Social Democratic Party. In Romania, however, the last years of Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej’s power and the succession of Nicolae Ceauşescu were characterized by a progressive autonomy from the Soviet Union, taking the form of real de-satellization from Moscow and the Warsaw Pact.

- Summary/Abstract:The Black Sea region has undergone many geopolitical changes over time, having been under the control of various empires. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, a power vacuum emerged, which eventually disappeared with the expansion of structures such as NATO and the EU. The first destabilizing event occurred with the annexation of the Crimean Peninsula in 2014, prompting the Alliance to deploy troops and military equipment on the eastern flank. Another destabilizing moment in the region was the massing of Russian troops along Ukraine’s western border in 2021 and 2022. Once again, NATO responded accordingly, sending troops and military equipment to the eastern flank. The military forces deployed to Romania come from several allied countries, and the equipment sent is diverse, covering a wide range—from battle tanks to radars and fighter/surveillance aircraft.

Their interests were supported by Hungary, and negotiations led to the Paris agreements (1930), creating Funds A and B for compensation. Fund A targeted expropriated lands, while Fund B addressed non-agricultural assets, financed by war reparations and international contributions. The funding of the funds was suspended after 1932, and only Romania and Yugoslavia continued payments until 1940. The activity of the funds ended in 1948, after World War II and the establishment of communist regimes in Romania, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary.

One of our objectives is to analyse the specific linguistic features that contribute to the persuasive power of these advertisements. We propose an investigation into the textual typologies utilized, encompassing genres such as slogans, manifestos, and narrative constructions. Furthermore, we will examine a range of tones adopted, from assertive and authoritative to empathetic and how these tones are strategically deployed to resonate with target demographics. Ultimately, we aim to understand how these linguistic elements work in concert to achieve the primary goals of political advertising: to amplify the visibility of candidates, to shape public perception, and to ultimately influence voting behavior by ensuring messages are not only heard, but also deeply remembered.
