Aggression at school becomes frequent and seems hopeless. Obviously, we can not approach different conflict situations at school in the same way, only by applying disciplinary sanctions and expecting a different result. We need to use actual working instruments. Mediation is a powerful tool for resolving conflict situations at school. Since December 2004 a Law on Mediation is valid in our country. The Ministry of Justice is supporting a Unified Register of Mediators where organizations and individuals entitled to train mediators have been registered in accordance with ethical rules and standards. The article presents various real conflict situations from Bulgarian schools and the way in which they can be resolved by student- mediators.

In the article are presented the results of a survey. The formation of linguistic competence among students from first to fourth grade affects on their whole development. The purpose of this research is to check with test the level formation of linguistic competence at third grade students. There are two original didactic tests. On the basis of the results obtained, it can be argued that they are reliable, valid for the entire population and measure exactly the level formation of linguistic competence among students at the initial stage of primary education.

This paper discusses preparation for disaster response in the context of state education strategies. A functional analysis has been made of the administrative units that are directly involved in the handling of emergencies, the structures that have to provide quality education and training have been shown. Described are the responsible institutions and training centers that provide the theoretical and practical training of the different social categories. Presented are the results of an empirical study of the Bulgarian Red Cross, which assesses the quality of training of employees in local authorities and citizens. Proposal for creating a new organizational and methodological model for allocation of responsibilities and obligations in ensuring the training of the population is made.

The Physical education classes of students with special educational needs have itself peculiarities which is logical and explainable. It is well known that the load density is an indirect indicator for physical load because it gives information only for the capacity of the load and not for the intensity. Although this indicator is the necessary first condition for achieving optimal physical load. However, the criterion of optimality and sufficiency is different when it comes to children with mental retardation. This is due not only to differences in the psychophysical development of these children, but is also dictated by the different aims and “more modest” tasks of physical education and sport in children with intellectual disabilities. The physical activity and the associated physical load are an indispensable factor for the proper psycho-physical development of adolescents. It is equally necessary for both normal children and those with psychophysical anomalies.

The educational resources in distance learning programs are a key element in the effectiveness of this type of teaching. Printed materials along with those created in the electronic environment facilitate learning in an individualized way, requiring the assistance and coordination of the course tutors. The new ways of presenting the content make learning flexible and attractive, more adapted to the needs of adults, in the sense of being possible without the constraints of time, space, and pace of life. The production of resources in the education system requires the prior training of the authors and passing through distinct phases in their configuration: their structuring into a specific shape, generating texts and illustrations, the design of materials, preparation and printing, the design of applied materials. The Distance Learning Department organizes those educational resources at the Gh. Dima Music Academy, based on an adequate infrastructure and on highly skilled human resources. This study analyzes the way in which didactic materials are made, the level of accessibility of the courses being related to the statistics conducted through questionnaires, which were created with corrective purpose and for the continuous improvement of the educational contents.
