This publication presents a research on students – future teachers – and their pedagogical skills in terms of theoretical and practical musical training. Some points of view on the current topic are considered in the theoretical part. The result of the theoretical research on the problem has been determined by the nature of the musical and pedagogical skills. The opportunities for assessing student’s pedagogical skills at theoretical and practical trainings are displayed in the practical-applying section. The methods, used in this research are: theoretical analysis of the literature on the studied problem, qualitative analysis of results from the research, relative to the musical practical preparing of students from the Primary School Pedagogic.

This article aims to examine the relationship between the Strategy and the state educational standards, regarding the problems of educational integration - the standards for inclusive education and for civic, health, environmental and intercultural education.

The present article affects young people civic engagement issue through informal learning and education. The main civic education characteristics have been defined within the context of informal learning. Different educational approaches have been presented in order to help youngsters participate actively in various civic events. Key competences with fundamental meaning for students as per Bulgarian educational standards have been discussed. These competences also enable students’ better realization in their future lives. An example concerning the informal education has been proposed through the various discussions.

Science Can Be Fun – Murphy’s Law and Humour in Natural Science

This article considers the possibility of implementing Murphy’s law and humour in teaching natural sciences. First, it describes the origin and development of Murphy’s Law, and considers the origin and defining of postulates arising from the research, scientific work and teaching practice. The central part of the paper deals with the use of humour in teaching mathematics and science, resulting from teaching practice. In addition, it presents the comic elements from films, TV series, cartoons, and school television programs, books for children and youth, and scientific popular literature. It considers the choice of the use of these media and their adaption to the needs of teaching natural sciences.

Bulgarian Language Sunday Schools in the UK from the viewpoint of country of origin and the host country

This paper gives an insight into the development of the Bulgarian Language Sunday Schools in the UK as promoters of the mother tongue and culture. The focus is on their features and benefits. In particular, the most important issues related to these Bulgarian organisations (such as the increase of the number of the schools and the reason behind this, their connections with mainstream schools and some of their problems) are discussed. At the same time, it is acknowledged that most of these issues need further in-depth studies.

Geoecological Analysis of Industrial Cities: on the Example of Aktobe Agglomeration

Landscape-geochemical assessment of the industrial areas is of particular interest to many researchers. This study describes the micro element composition of soils and hydrochemical composition of surface waters of the Aktobe region in Kazakhstan. A landscape-geochemical analysis was conducted in Aktobe agglomeration. Biogeochemical data is used to indicate the state of the degree of pollution. According to a study compiled agglomeration modern landscape map and identified anthropogenic impact on the total pollution index.
