Archbishop Mečislovas Reinys is one of the most prominent personalities. He paid much attention to personality development. According to him, multidisciplinary education is very important, where a person’s personality can unfold. The Archbishop was admired by Don Bosco’s ideas to make the school a community. This is important nowadays when the school’s threshold goes beyond personality with a variety of life experiences. Consequently, it must appear as one of the most important factors in education, to be a moral and valuable core, which is not differ from life. Therefore, it is right to call today‘s Catholic school a cross of experience and ideas. The ideas of Archbishop Mečislovas Reinys about education and upbringing have not lost their persistence. They find a proper response to the activities and mission of the current Catholic schools.

One of the main functions of the principal in the kindergarten is the control activity one performs. The object and the subject of the control activity of the principal, the methods of control, as well as the organization of the control activity are entered in the plan for control activity prepared by the principal, after which it is necessary to perform an analysis of the control activity. The analysis is presented at a meeting of the pedagogical council and measures for improvement and refinement of the activity are proposed for discussion. The following activities are subject to control in the kindergarten: educational, qualification, administrative - managerial, social - household and economic, financial. The purpose of monitoring the control in a kindergarten in Sofia is to provide reliable information about the actual quality of the activity in the kindergarten and the related circumstances about the reasons that caused possible deviations and the ways to eliminate them.

An ethno botanical study of medicinal and aromatic plants was conducted in the Massmouda district of the northern city of Ouezzane in Morocco.It was done in order to establish the catalog of aromatic and medicinal plants and to gather all the information concerning the therapeutic uses practiced by the local population in the studied area and finally we sensitize the local population to use medicinal aromatic plants in traditional medicine by a more effective scientific method and preserve nature. After representation of the region, the survey was carried out according to a probabilistic (random) sampling method during the months of January, February and March 2019, among the inhabitants of five douars distributed in the region of Massmouda. Samples of 20 people are trained for each of the douars (10 women and 10 men for each doaur). The questionnaire concerning subjects such as sex, age, educational level, family situation, profession as well as the mode of use, therapeutic and traditional local applications of aromatic and medicinal plants in the Massmouda region. The results obtained made it possible to inventory 21 exploited species, divided into 14 families. Cataloged plants are used for several purposes, with therapeutic use being the most common (90% of total uses). A very important part of the recipes is recommended for the treatment of certain disorders of the digestive system, the nervous system and the cutaneous system. The leaves and the seed are the most used organ. The most frequently used methods of preparation for most remedies are decoction (38%), infusion (25.5%) and finally powder (25%). The ethno botanical research carried out in the region of Massmouda regarding traditional use of medicinal plants still persists in the said region it is necessary to do other similar works, in the same area of study, will help us to discover other unknown species, to evaluate the risks associated with the use of certain toxic plants and to adopt a new management approach for safeguarding and preserving natural resources.

The roots of data science started to grow approximately sixty years ago. The current state, however, began to form only two decades ago, highly influenced by the emergence of big data. As such, this article is a natural continuation of the similarly themed big data article, published in the preceding issue of this journal. The focus of this article is on the events that materially contributed towards the prominence of data science. Additionally, the article discusses the debate around What is data science? had by academics, public organizations and government entities over the years. An emphasis is given to the James Gray paradigm, known as the fourth approach to scientific discoveries. The leading ideas in establishing Data Science as a major in several US universities are outlined briefly.

The chance E. Georgieva to be noticed by the pretentious French criticism is due to the fact that she graduated with Master degree of filmmaking and creative writing at the National Film Academy in Paris (La Fémis) and has an experience as a documentary director. During this school year the novel of the Bulgarian writer will be studied in some of the French high schools

The article presents a research aiming to identify social work students’ attitudes towards application of a co-supervision model in social work practical training. The motivation of the authors is based on the belief that the years of schooling are very important for the young and adolescent person. During this period some very important physiological and psychological changes occur in the personality. It is the time for the formation of personal qualities and moral virtues, social competences, revealing the uniqueness and potential of each person, the development of creativity, initiative and entrepreneurship. The formation of these so valuable to the human personality qualities is highly influenced by the interaction of the students with teachers of a new type. These are teachers possessing a large setoff personal and professional qualities dedicated to the mission to devote their lives to educating future generations, producing creators of the human progress. The article presents the results of the author's study conducted with students from different educational stages, with students from the pedagogical specialties and with practitioners. The research methods used are: pedagogical study, test, content analysis, correlation analysis, pertinent analysis and range scaling. It was found out that the teacher of the modern times is called upon to carry out his or her professional activity in harmony with the permanently changing world. He is required to be adaptable, creative, a good professional, a creator. He or she cannot fully fulfill his or her professional roles in the new reality unless being led by love for the children with whom he or she interacts professionally or if is not devoted to the profession he or she practices.

Pedagoška tematika vezana za proučavanja u srbijanskom delu Sandžaka mora nalaziti uporišta, oslonce, argumente, podatke u lokalnoj sredini, ali se značenjski mora uzdići do vrednosti naučnog mišljenja, njegove logičnosti i misaonog, teorijskog sistema od značaja za nauku o vaspitanju. Zato se u ovom radu taj aspekt, naznačen kao sistem obrazovanja Srbije na datom, istorijski i aktuelno ograničenom prostoru, ima u vidu; to je predmet i zadatak teme, njene obrade. To nije samo deskriptivno predočavanje pojava u osnovnom obrazovanju, već pitanje primenjivostoi naučnog pedagoškog saznanja na jednom prostoru koga odlikuje specifična prošlost, takva kakvu nema ni jedan drugi deo Srbije. I sadašnjost koja je izronila iz date prošlosti, sadašnjost kojoj nije bilo dovoljno sto godina razvoja da potre negativne recidive prošlosti, da ih otkloni i nadmaši. Tema je najmanje hronologija zbivanja koja se najčešće smešta u šemu, protok godina: 3 + 3 + 23 + 4 + 45 + 10 godina (od 1912 do 1915 - 3, do kraja prvog svetskog rata 3, Kraljevina Jugoslavija 23, II svetski rat 4, vreme brozovskog socijalizma 45 i postbrozovski period 10 godina). Iako svaki od tih intervala u proticanju vremena ima svoje osobenosti i svoju situaciju u razvoju, ipak je za pedagoško proučavanje više relevantno nešto šire identifikovanje i obrađivanje, odnosno proučavanje osnovnog obrazovanja. U predmet i u okvire sadržaja ove teme ulaze dve bitne odrednice, dva osnovna pitanja – prostor na kome su situirane osnovne škole ove oblasti i vreme u kome su one sastavni deo sistema obrazovanja Srbije.

The research on the basis of Mykolaiv V.O. Sukhomlynskyi National University (Ukraine) envisaged the study of the degree of orientation of the educational process of the humanities faculties to intensify the self-education of students. Analysis of pedagogical works, observations, dialogues, questionnaires of authors and students revealed its insufficiency. On the basis of the identified external and internal factors of influence, the ways of activating self-education are outlined: development of self-consciousness, value-motivational and emotional-volitional sphere; actualization of values and content of self-education in the educational process; application of interactive-reflexive forms a methods; providing subjective relations between tutors and students; creating conditions for students to gain experience in self-education. The results of the study allow considering self-education as an important condition for effective pedagogical training of future specialists and can contribute to improving its quality.

En este artículo presentamos y analizamos las manipulaciones ideológicas de la Guerra Civil española que se reflejaron en los niños a través de la educación en el período entre el establecimiento de la Segunda República y el estallido de la Guerra Civil española, y se mostraron en las películas La lengua de las mariposas y Pan negro. Para presentar las consecuencias ideológicas, estas películas han sido seleccionadas porque reflejan una rutina diaria de los españoles, también muestran la influencia de la guerra en la vida de la gente y de una manera muy clara representan las ideolo- gías políticas de nacionalistas y republicanos. A través de las películas, se presentan ideales, tanto republicanos como nacionalistas, quienes tuvieron influencia directa en la vida de los niños a través de la educación en la escuela. Basándonos en las escenas analizadas de estas dos películas, comparamos la manipulación de los niños antes y después de la Guerra Civil española. Sobre la base de las escenas analizadas, compararemos la medida en que los niños fueron manipulados antes y después de la Guerra Civil española, así como por qué por qué es importante abordar el impacto de la educación y el entorno escolar en los niños en este período.
