Учебно-познавателната евристична дейност като фундамент за развиване на рефлексивните способности на учениците

Author(s): Nina Ivanova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 5/2016

The article studies various conditions of combining heuristic activity, taking place in the process of learning, with activation of reflection processes, as well as any possible consequences of such combination. Author’s positive research experience in this area has been shared, related to the realization of reflexive-synergetic approach principles in mathematics education. Concise presentation is made of the results of a pedagogical experiment proving the thesis that the organisation and management of student educational-cognitive heuristic activity by using an educational technology which has been specifically created for this purpose, developed in compliance with the fundamental principles of the reflexive-synergetic approach, increases the level of student individual intellectual reflection abilities.

Limbaj și comunicare în contextul TSA: mituri și evidențe

Author(s): Raluca Nicoleta Trifu,Carolina Bodea-Haţegan,Bogdana Susana Miclea / Language(s): English,Romanian Issue: 1/2019

Autism spectrum disorder is a very common developmental disorder nowadays. CPLOL celebrated speech and language therapy day on the 6th of March and dedicated this day to Communication in Autism. Based on this, we prepared a workshop within our association (ASTTLR) under this theme where ASD was approached based on the language myths and on the language evidences. The fallowing myths and evidences were discussed based on significant studies in the field: echolalia, language idiosyncrasy, personal pronoun usage, gestures, the gap between receptive and expressive language. Conclusions underlined that language development can be an important indicator in ASD, but it must be carefully approached as not all specific language development features can be by themselves diagnostic criteria.

Относно рефлексивните умения и компетенции на учителя

Author(s): Rositza Ivanova-Armeykova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2016

The article examines the phenomenon of reflection as basic competency for the teachers to manage their behavior and skills to interact with the students and to disclose the technological part of the educational process. Jacques Delors justifies the four main guiding principles - educational steps in conjunction with the concept of lifelong learning and education in 21 century. The four main pillars of modern education, requiring the formation of four main groups of competences are: learning to know, to learn how to act, to learn to live together, to learn to be themselves. The effectiveness of a good teacher is a combination of many knowledge, reflexive skills and competences that are constantly evolving and enriching. The accumulated experience of the teacher is not a sufficient condition for professional development. Only the constant reflection, analysis and transformation of his own experience allowed him to develop his skills.

За четенето и езиковото образование на утрешния ден (I – IV клас)

Author(s): Mariana Mandeva,Penka Kaneva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2015

A common belief, popular in school practice, is that after the initial literacy stage students read mainly/only in literature classes. This is unacceptable if a teacher wants to achieve educational goals and outcomes, adequate to the challenges of the modern world and to the children’s needs. Students read not only in literature classes but in language classes (first language, foreign language classes), in other classes, and out of school. Problems of teaching reading skills are considered beyond the context of literary classes – in Bulgarian language classes and in English language classes in primary school.

Ограмотяване на ученика чрез формиране на медийна грамотност в етапа I – IV клас

Author(s): Zlatina Dimitrova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 4/2019

The article explores one of the most popular claims in the digital era – that children born in the years of constant progress of information and communication technologies naturally develop their media literacy. Therefore, it is believed that children in the first years after their birth acquire all the necessary skills and competences for survival in the vast Internet world and the risky media environment. However, practice shows that this is only a myth, which should be rather denied. Like any other competence that modern man possesses, media literacy must also be mastered and developed in the Bulgarian school.

Kindergarten in the Context of Social Consequences of the Globalization Process

Author(s): Gergana Dyankova / Language(s): English Issue: 5/2019

The article analyzes the social implications of the globalization process and the atypical interventions that occurred during childhood. The focus is on the need for modern practices to preserve the constructive balance of social interaction, that will be able to neutralize and resist threats from the negative social consequences; of practices that will be able to turn pedagogy into a protected area inaccessible to the destructive impact on adolescents. Pre-primary education programs provide for instrumental and procedural criteria for the child‘s social activity. In this regard, the process of childhood intersubjectivity, which is only conceivable in the context of coexistence, of communication with others, that is to say in a prosocial context, acquires special importance for the pedagogical interaction in the kindergarten.

Делегираните бюджети в средното образование в България – за и против

Author(s): Yoana Minova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 2/2015

The purpose of this article is to make an overview of secondary education funding in Bulgaria as well as the positive and negative impacts of its implementation. The tool of delegated budgets is considered relatively new mechanism for allocating funds to secondary and preschool education. Delegated budgets system emerges from the idea to optimize distributing financial recourses in secondary education. This mechanism is based on legal and sub-legislative regulations and organizational structure. The implementation of this tool is founded on budget law; it determines the Ministry, which superintends the school, as the primary distributor of funds. Schools and operational departments in public education, applying delegated budgeting, have the right to be distributors of secondary importance with budget credits and independent budgets, by decision of municipality councils.Achievements:1. Decentralization in the field of education. It’s organized on three levels of delegating rights, responsibilities and governing resources: central – local authority, local authority – school, school – board of trustees.2. Clear mechanism of allocating municipality budget, creating conditions for regulated relations between municipalities and schools.3. Greater power of decision making by school authorities. The last take responsibilities for maintaining the material equipment.4. Creating incentives for searching for alternative funding sources, as school income is dependent on them.

Municipalities receive funds for schools from the state budget, depending on their population and socio-demographic structure and then distribute them to the schools The two countries apply a system of delegated budgets in funding education, which is a main tool for financial support. The tendency in the educational systems of both countries is securing equal opportunities for education access and increasing its quality. Self-assessment methods and instruments are considered an effective way to evaluate subjective experience in client-centered practice. However, researchers are still doubtful about children’s abilities to assess adequately their traits and performance, despite the convincing evidence that children are capable from early age to provide information about themselves that is unique, valid and stable over time. Psychological and pedagogical versus occupational therapy perspectives of the nature and characteristics of self-assessment are discussed. Some self-report tools widely used in practice are presented. Self-report instruments are as reliable as special psychological tests and can be used as a source of information about the child.
