Słownik badaczy literatury polskiej. Tom 10

Author(s): Jerzy Starnawski / Language(s): Polish

Są to (pomijając tytuły naukowe): Krzysztof Biliński, Maria Bokszczanin, Józef Budzyński, Janusz Degler, Karolina Grodziska, Lidia Ignaczakówna, Zefiryn Jędrzyński, Paweł Kaczyński, Irena Kamińska-Szmaj, Małgorzata Krakowiak, Evelina Kristanova, Irena Kujawska, Andrzej Linert, Przemysława Matuszewska, Barbara Marzęcka, Julian Maślanka, Jolanta Migdał, Barbara Milewska-Ważbińska, Lucylla Pszczołowska, Monika Sulejewiczówna, Agata Szendzikowska, Eligiusz Szymanis, Dobrosława Świerczyńska, Hanna Tadeusiewicz, Marian Zaczyński, Roman Maria Zawadzki, Paweł Zybała.

Author(s): Ikbal Cogo / Language(s): Bosnian

Since the mid of 1950-ies a visual arts scene, specific in many ways, has flourised in the region of the city of Zenica. Firstly, the association of amateur artists was founded in 1956; afterwords the Visual Arts Association Zenica founded in 1974 whereas the Art Gallery started its activities within the City Museum towards the end of 1981. Visual arts scene of the second half of 20th century involved the artists of different sensibility and poetics of art; among them most famous ones were Ljubomir Perčinlić, Mirko Marić i Anto Kajinić. In addition to these artists we should also mention Tomislav Perazić, Muhamed Bajramović, Irfan Handukić, Miroslav Šetka, Jelenko Butina, Anto Čabraja, Mensur Begičević, Duško Abramušić, Jasmin Kukavica and others. Yet, the first visual artist with the academic education was Stjepan Totić, born in December 1927 in Zenica. He started his education at the Visual Arts Academy in Ljubljana in 1959 and graduated in 1963. Later, he finished his specialist studies at the same Academy in 1964/1965. Throughout his career Stjepan Totić worked in graphic and printing industry (he worked as the visual illustrator and later as the technical editor of the city periodical Naša Riječ). He made over 100 of different illustrations for the newspapers (the first ones appeared during 1956); he also gave the artistic form for about ten books (cover page illustartions), and he also wrote visual arts critiques and created a relatively small but very specific artistic collection. As he used to describe his own painting he was, primarily, a painter of figuration and portraits. Many visual arts critics wrote about his work, just to mention a few: Azra Begić, Branka Perišić, Meliha Husedžinović, Slobodan Blagojević. He was a member of the Visual Arts Association Zenica from 1974 until the beginning of the recent war. The artistic expression of Stjepan Totić was mostly influenced by the Slovenian painter Gabrijel Stupica. Totić had only one independent exhibition in Zenica in 1980 and it was accompanied by the catalogue. He withdrew from active artistic life of the city in the second half of 1980-ies. In Spring 1992, at the very beginning of the war activities, Stjepan Totić left for Innsbruk (Austria) where he lived for the rest of his life and died in 2009. He was married to Marija Helena Totić and had two sons, Josip and Krunoslav, and the daughter Margareta. His painting „Trapez“ used to be the permanent exhibit of the City Museum of Zenica from 1986 to 2007.

Author(s): Boyka Mircheva / Language(s): Bulgarian

On September 15th, 1934 during the Fourth International Congress of Byzantologists in Sofia, in the Byzantium and the Slavonic World Section a committee comprising Milos Weingart and Franz Dvornik from Prague, Vasily Pogorelov from Bratislava, Ilarion Sventsitski from Lvov, Milko Kos from Ljubljana, Mikhail Poprouzhenko and Stoyan Romanski from Sofia unanimously adopted a resolution. It assigned to the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences the preparation of a critical edition of the sources on the life and deed of brothers Cyril and Methodius because of their huge importance for both Byzantine and Slavonic studies. On that very day the Committee on studying the sources on the life and deed of Cyril and Methodius convened. Two weeks later in Krakow the Second International Congress of Slavists took place. At the last plenary session of the congress, which was held on September 30th, 1934, St. Romanski proclaimed the Resolution of the Byzantologists' Congress and it was unanimously approved. By decision of the Congress of Slavists the Committee was joined by Joseph Weiss and Joseph Kurz from Prague, Stanislaw Slonski and Ivan Ogienko from Warsaw, Stepan Ivshich from Zagreb, Alexander Teodorov-Balan, Iordan Ivanov and Iordan Trifonov from Sofia. At the same committee session the decision was taken to make lists of the texts to be published (Slavonic, Greek and Latin) and to prepare a plan of the edition as part of the preliminary work. For this reason shortly after that, in July 1935, under the aegis of the Committee for the publishing of the sources on the life and deed of Cyril and Methodius at the Bulgarian Academy of Science was published the Bibliographic Review of the Slavonic Sources on the Life and Deed of Cyril and Methodius („Библиографски преглед на славянските източници за живота и дейността на Кирила и Методия") prepared by M. Popruzhenko and St. Romanski. As the authors note this is a list of the known, more or less correctly registered copies of Slavonic sources... written in Cyrillic, including notes of the editions they had been published or simply used in, as well as the book depositories they are preserved in. This bibliographic review features 175 copies of 21 Slavonic monuments. Later, in 1956, the work of Bonyu Angelov Slavonic Sources on Cyril and Methodius ("Славянски извори за Кирил и Методий") was published - a continuation of the work of Popruzhenko and Romasnki. Its first part contains data about 207 copies of 8 sources, and its second part - unclassified data about 212 copies of different calendar notes, short vitae, parts of the vitae of the Thessaloniki brothers, etc. In 1980 the Cyrillo-Methodian Research Center at the BAS, successor to the Committee for publication of Cyrillo-Methodian sources, launched the collection of bibliographic data about the separate copies of the Slavonic sources with view of their storing place and depository, signature, descriptions, editions and research of each copy, following a scheme designed by Svetlina Nikolova. In the meanwhile, a Preliminary List of Cyrillo-Methodian Sources („Предварителен списък на кирило-методиевските извори") was prepared and published in 1987. This list divides the sources in Slavonic, Latin, Greek and Romano-German and each source is provided with separate data on the time and place of creation, authorship, language of the original, archeographical data about the earliest copy and about the editions of the concrete copy. This inventory of Slavonic sources, in chronological order, comprises 39 items, adding 18 new Slavonic sources to the identified by Popruzhenko and Romanski: the discovered in the last decades acrostics of the names of Constantine of Preslav (3 at that point), Kliment of Ohrid (1 at that point), with the name of Naum (1), the note of Tudor Doxov to the translation of Four Discourses against the Arians by Athanasios of Alexandria, the canon of St. Demetrios of Thessaloniki, the Calendar notes of Kliment of Ohrid and the later dated sources written in Czech – the Chronicle of Dalimil, the Czech revision of the Diffundente sole legend and the Life of St. Crhu and Strahota. Presently the corpus comprises bibliographic data about 46 sources in 1145 copies. In contrast to the previous bibliographical reference books it includes as separate sources: the Second service for Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher, for the time-being considered an original work because no Byzantine model has been found so far; the second canon of Methodius by Kliment of Ohrid discovered by Russian scholars Lyudmila Moshkova and Anatoly Turilov and deciphered by Bulgarian scholar Georgi Popov; the Dormition of Methodius - a text discovered by Klimentina Ivanova; the Middle-Bulgarian translation of the Greek service for Kliment of Ohrid (omitted in the Preliminary List of Slavonic Cyrillo-Methodian sources), the general calendar notes on Cyril and Methodius. One of the main principles of the Inventory is the decision that the literature for the rubrics’ descriptions, editions and studies should comprise concrete research works on the respective copy only and not on the source as a whole. The information is drawn from printed publications - inventories, editions and studies, printed from the early 19th с. to 2012. The copies are arranged in chronological order, by countries and depositories. The data about copies whose existence is uncertain or which have been proved to no longer exist are placed separately at the end of the information about each source, together with a detailed description of who, when and where has given the information about the copy and who, where and when has proven that the copy is uncertain or destroyed. Likewise, at the end of the information on each source, there is data about copies whose present location is unknown. The Inventory does not include revisions, compilations and excerpts from the separate sources, nor later works created on the basis of already existing ones. No bibliographic data about old-printed editions of the separate sources are included either, the only exception being the Old-Czech source Life of St. Crhu and Strahota which isn't preserved but in a printed edition. The calendar notes are united with the troparia, kontakia and all references of this type in menologies of different liturgical books. Since the notes are extremely varied, the title cites only the earliest mentioning of the memory of the saint. The Inventory does not give information about the so-called Tale of the Translation of the Books („Сказание о преложении книг"), included in Tale of Bygone Years („Повесть временных лет") because in order to make a complete and correct bibliographic description all copies must be examined which I wasn't able to do at this point. The data on these copies will be the subject of another publication. The main points of the scheme are as follows: First of all, the original title and incipit of every source are given. With hymnographic works – the incipit and the end of the work. The information about each copy includes: 1. Location and depository of the manuscript: country, town, depository, fund number and name of the collection, ref. number, type, language specifics, dating of manuscript and folia that the work occupies. 2. Descriptions. This rubric contains information about all the accessible catalogues and lists where the manuscript is mentioned. 3. Editions. List of bibliographic data on all the editions of the concrete copy. 4. Studies. The bibliographical data about the studies on the concrete copy are listed here. 5. Note. The rubric contains additional information about the copy – whether it was used for various readings, numbering specifications, differences in identifying the type of manuscript or its dating, information about the existing photocopies in the BAS scientific archive, etc. The edition uses the abbreviations of libraries, collections and funds that are generally adopted in Slavonic Studies.

Horyzonty dziecięcych znaczeń. Kreowanie środowiska uczenia się

Author(s): / Language(s): Polish

The presented publications entitled Horizons of children’s meanings are an attempt to provoke reflection on tensions and non-obviousness of the essence and significance of contemporary debates on childhood and early education. The contemplations presented critically consider the condition of early education, the child’s potential and his ways of experiencing the world, the educational environment that develops the potential and competences of children, the creative nature of learning process and methodological aspects of child and childhood research. The second volume was inspired by discussions focused on three areas. They concerned a critical reflection on the culture of education embedded in the tradition of reducing education to a simple transmission of knowledge and beliefs, the educational environment that stimulates the development of children’s abilities and creativity understood as children’s interpreting, recognizing and inventing the world. Similarly to the first volume, we refer here to many theories within the constructivist discourse. Also, most Authors describe the subject from an interpretive perspective, regardless of the matters covered.

Úvod do studia archeologie

Author(s): Vladimír Podborský / Language(s): Czech

Před zhruba půlstoletím napsal prominentní britský prehistorik Gordon Vere Childe (1892–1957) jeden z prvních, ne-li vůbec první, novodobých úvodů do studia archeologie: A Short Introduction to Archaeology (Krátký úvod do archeologie). Od té doby byly takových úvodů napsány desítky, až po volnou, žertovnou formou napsanou repliku knihy G. V. Childa, Archaeology. A Very Short Introduction od Paula Bahna (Oxford University Press 1996, 2002; český překlad Anna Kalmanová, Archeologie. Průvodce pro každého, Vimperk: Dokořán, 2007). U nás byly nejvíce používány příručky: H. J. Eggers, Einführung in die Vorgeschichte (München 1959); S. J. Laet, Archeologija i jejproblemy (polské vydání, Warszawa 1960); F. Felgenhauer, Einführung in die Urgeschichtsforschung (Freiburg 1973); H. Müller-Karpe, Einführung in die Vorgeschichte (München 1979) a možná i poněkud náročnější polský sborník W. Hensel – G. Donato – S. Tabaczyński, eds., Teoria i praktika badań archeologicznych I. Przeslanki metodologiczne (Wrocław–Warszawa–Kraków–Gdańsk–Łódź 1986).

Author(s): Jaroslav Kovarnik,Vladimír Podborský / Language(s): Czech

Ve chvíli předávání tohoto svazku „Postav moravské archeologie“ do tisku cítí autoři povinnost připomenout čtenářům jednu důležitou okolnost, která – jak se ukazuje – provází a do budoucna stále bude vydávání „Postav“ provázet. Jde o úplnost či neúplnost a o kritičnost jednotlivých svazků. Malé monografie stěží mohou osudy a životní dílo jednotlivých protagonistů moravské archeologie vyčerpat bezezbytku.

Author(s): Michal Černý / Language(s): Czech

The book Digital information curatorship as universal educational approach offers a largely interdisciplinary approach that combines tradition associated with information science (especially working with information, information behavior, information retrieval and personal information management) with pedagogical themes (PLE, connectivism, e-learning). At the same time, we rely on information from building digital libraries, philosophy of education, or foundations Applied Informatics. It is this connection I consider as one of the possible positive or unusual approach to the whole issue. The publication proceeds from themes rather informational sciences and those relating to education, to the technical aspects of the implementation of such an approach. This is not a separated approach but tries to point out their continuity, consistency, specific binding.

„Papiri" prvenstveno služe potrebama same organizacije civilnoga društva (OCD): dokazivanja i/ili ilustriranja javnopravnih, privatnopravnih, sudbenih, upravnih, političkih i ostalih pravnih poslova i događanja.

Arctic 8 Policy: Reassessing International Relations

Author(s): / Language(s): English

The Arctic is a harsh geography that has historically been misconceived as a large ice mass, ignoring the complex strategic salience of the region. Its cold waters and frozen lands have attracted the attention of people for many years and have been the centre of discoveries and adventures. Today, however, the strategic importance of the Arctic has gone beyond discoveries and adventures. Factors, such as environmental erosion, climate change, and national or regional security complicate geopolitical dynamics in the region. This book begins by delving into the issues that have led Arctic countries to reorient their foreign policies. The geopolitical structure of the Arctic, the expansion of NATO, the emergence of new energy reserves, and the impact of climate change on the Arctic are some of the factors directly affecting the region. Then, within the framework of these influences, the policies of the eight Arctic countries are re-assessed from the perspective of international relations. This volume not only emphasises the geopolitical and strategic importance of the Arctic region, but also discusses conflicts of interest, international cooperation efforts, and possible future scenarios. The Arctic is not just a geography, but also an important part of global politics and security. This book is a guide to understanding the complex and dynamic nature of the Arctic region.

Global Risks and Their Impacts on Türkiye

Author(s): / Language(s): English

Today, the growing impact of climate change, armed conflicts, social polarization, and economic instability threatens the foundations of the global order. These challenges escalate rapidly, fuelled by technological advancements and economic uncertainties that we face on a global scale. Disinformation and misinformation stand out as critical global threats. The pressing issues of cybersecurity, geopolitical tensions, unequal opportunities, inflation, forced migration, economic downturns, and environmental degradation present urgent risks that demand immediate attention. The imbalances and inequalities in wealth and resource distribution at all levels breed instability locally, regionally, and globally, further amplifying the fragility and volatility of our global system. Beyond the immediate crises, our book delves into the potential repercussions of artificial intelligence and its implications for the geopolitical supply chain in Türkiye. It meticulously unveils how climate change and geopolitical dynamics could severely impact Türkiye’s security framework, economic landscape, and business sector. In this context, Türkiye must boldly declare its commitment to fostering collaboration among nations, businesses, and civil society to effectively address these global challenges. Türkiye’s pivotal role in this collective endeavour cannot be overstated, and the country should continue to lead initiatives aimed at collaboration and problem-solving. This book offers valuable insights from scholars, experts, and industry leaders, with the goal of elevating awareness and effectively managing emerging risks at every level. Together, we can navigate these turbulent times and create a more resilient global order.
