The article focuses on the comparison of data received by parents and teachers independently. The improvement of communication, solidarity and continuity of the process – education and self-training could be used as a source for the development of new teaching methodologies. The observations made and initial conclusions point to the need for consultation and intensive joint work to optimize parent-teacher communication. It is imperative to motivate parents and increase the degree of engagement, the clear allocation of responsibilities between the institution and the family, looking at the consequences of (not) the coherence between these two factors of education, education and overall personality.

The article discusses the relationship between some peculiarities of the New Bulgarian literary language and the process of formation of the Bulgarian nation during the Renaissance. Language competence, based on the alphabet and writing of the community one belongs to, is the “key“ to the personal and social growth of a child. Mastering reading and writing is a complex process for all students but it is most difficult for first-graders, learning the official Bulgarian language as a second language, particularly Roma children. It is assumed that a satisfactory formed orthoepic competence (Beginners’level) during the literacy development process is the fundamental tool for successful “entry“ into the Bulgarian alphabet and writing. Within the outlined theoretical context, an analysis of a survey among primary teachers has been made, aiming to highlight the importance of the problem and to make well-founded recommendations for improving the educational process in the particular pedagogical and linguistic situations.

The present article aims to present the results of an empirical study, reflecting the point of view of social service managers in terms of importance of specific professional and specific knowledge, individual qualities, and interpersonal skills, specific and necessary for the position. The findings in this study are accents to which part of the university training of the students in the specialties "Social Pedagogy" and "Social Work" could be directed.

One of the functions of the social worker is to aid the interaction between the client and the client’s social environment. Efficient social work is carried out in collaboration with different social, healthcare, and educational institutions, civic organizations, and communities, local authorities, i.e. in partnerships. Normative and administrative deeds introduce the requirements for the formation of inter-institutional teams, mostly aimed at solving problems in the social sphere. The material presents the results from the implementation of a practical exercise for a research on the different types of social support networks, done under the Basics and methods of social work subject, by Social pedagogy students from the Trakia University of Stara Zagora. It analyzes the skills of future social pedagogues in identifying and developing a supportive environment, based on the institutional resources of the region and the priority fields of social work for the client.

The article is focused on the process of soft skills formation in the participants of the International Qualification School "Modern Pedagogical Technologies in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language", held annually in Varna (Republic of Bulgaria) for future teachers of Russian language– students from different universities of Europe and Asia. The authors show that soft skills are developed in students of the School during the process of collective preparation of various projects: developing and conducting an excursion, writing a prospectus for a Russian language textbook, creating an educational video, etc. These collective forms of work presuppose self-organisation of students: their ability to find a common language with group members, the promotion of a leader, the ability to work in a team, jointly planning actions and implementing these plans, respecting and supporting each other.

The article is devoted to the Russian phrasemes with a colorative component as a means of forming linguo-cultural competence and developing emotional intelligence during the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The phraseological units as a linguistic and cultural sign always evoke strong interest among linguists and also the neophrasemes further enrich the lexico-phraseological system and conceptualize reality through emotional images. The main focus of the research includes analysis of the expressional and emotional characteristics of the phrasemes mentioned above. The article is interdisciplinary: it reveals a structural-semantic typology, as well as a system of exercises that can be involved in the teaching process when developing the listening, reading, writing and speaking on level B1-B2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

This research is an attempt to solve a lexical riddle posed to the readers by the eminent Bulgarian fiction writer Yordan Yovkov, which has remained unsolved for more than a hundred years. The object of study is the French word poilus, about which Yovkov says that it has an exact Bulgarian equivalent but does not state it. The methods used are comparative analysis of Bulgarian translation analysis of empruntism poilus and the survey method. The progress of discussion is viewed and hypotheses are formulated on this traductological inquiry, making an attempt to give an argumented solution to the fictional riddle posed.

Human life is an endless sequence of problem situations and ways to overcome them. Friedrich Nietzsche proclaims doubt and nihilism as forms of existence in problem situation. They are the foundation of the „reassessment of all values“. This reassessment is oriented to traditional, approved and wide spread principles and norms in society. The skepticism is an initial position and a transitional stage of denial. If someone denies something without thinking of it, he acts emotionally. Friedrich Nietzsche is a nihilist because his attitude is based on doubts, which are rationally motivated. In this paper the arguments are derived from his books “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”, “The Antichrist” and “Twilight of the Idols”.
