Zbornik o Marku Dobretiću

U Dobretićima nedaleko od Jajca održan je 8. i 9. lipnja 2007. znanstveni skup posvećen fra Marku Dobretiću (1707-1784), teološkom piscu, biskupu i apostolskom vikaru, u povodu 300. obljetnice njegova rođenja. Razlog komemoriranja obljetnice jest Dobretićevo posebno značenje u duhovnoj, crkvenoj i kulturnoj povijesti bosanskohercegovačkih katolika. Rodio se u Brnjićima, župa Vrhovine, danas Dobretići kod Jajca, najvjerojatnije 1707. godine. Početnu pismenost izgleda da je stekao kod mjesnoga župnika, a potom nastavio školovanje kod franjevaca u Fojnici. Studij filozofije i teologije pohađao je u Dalmaciji i Italiji. Svoj studijski put okončao je u Firenci 1840. godine. Vrhovna uprava Reda njega je, nakon što je položio ispite kojima se kvalificirao za predavača, imenovala profesorom filozofije i teologije. U tom je svojstvu osamnaest godina proboravio na filozofsko-teološkim učilištima u Italiji. Godine 1757. vratio se u domovinu u ulozi kustosa kustodije Sv. Križa Bosne Srebrene, a godinu dana kasnije, nakon rehabilitacije nepravedno degradirane Provincije, nastavio je službu u svojstvu provincijala Bosne Srebrene. Godine 1768. ponovno je izabran za trogodišnju službu provincijala, a 1773. papa ga je imenovao eretrijskim biskupom i apostolskim vikarom u Bosni i Hercegovini. Tu je službu obnašao do konca života. Autor je jedne opsežne teološke knjige koja je bosanskim franjevcima služila u pastoralnom radu. U ovom Zborniku donosimo šesnaest referata. Njih tri svojim sadržajem izravno zahvaćaju život i djelo fra Marka Dobretića: obnašanje službe provincijala i apostolskoga vikara, književnu djelatnost, te genezu roda Dobretić. Ostali tvore širi povijesno-kulturni kontekst, uglavnom onog vremena u kome je Dobretić živio. Uz dvije teme o svecima zaštitnicima Bosne, jednu o pučkoj kulturi jajačkoga kraja te dvije o prilikama bosanskih katolika i franjevaca tijekom XVIII. stoljeća, ostale su uglavnom vezane za književni i jezični aspekt franjevačke djelatnosti. Za organizaciju znanstvenoga skupa o fra Marku Dobretiću kao i za tiskanje zbornika zaslužni su Općina Dobretići i njezin načelnik Petar Jurišić, Bare Pršlja – inicijator održavanja ovoga skupa, fra Jure Aščić, franjevački samostan Jajce i župa Dobretići.

Stoljeća Kraljeve Sutjeske

U Kraljevoj Sutjesci, stolnom mjestu bosanskih kraljeva i višestoljetnom staništu franjevaca, priređen je 17. i 18. listopada 2008. godine znanstveni skup “Stoljeća Kraljeve Sutjeske”. Vanjski povod bila je stota obljetnica izgradnje samostanske i župne crkve po projektu arhitekta Josipa Vancaša (1908). Ta se okolnost pokazala pogodnom prilikom za inventuru višestoljetne povijesti katolika i franjevaca sutješkoga kraja, počevši od vremena bosanske samostalnosti, preko višestoljetne vladavine Osmanlija, austro-ugarskog razdoblja – sve do najnovijeg vremena. Franjevci su u Kraljevoj Sutjesci trajno prisutni već sedam stoljeća. Djelovali su kao duhovnici, pisci, propovjednici, kroničari / svjedoci svoga doba, prosvjetitelji, liječnici, politički zastupnici katolika… Mijenjali su se gospodari, nailazili i prolazili osvajači, rušitelji i pljačkaši – samostan je živio svoje uspone i padove, procvate duhovnog i kulturnog rada i sušna vremena pukog preživljavanja, ali je, svemu usprkos, opstao! Osnovan je u prvoj polovici 14. stoljeća, razoren 1524, izgorio 1658, iznova izgrađen 1664, neko vrijeme prisilno napušten koncem 17. stoljeća, obnovljen 1821, dograđen 1833, i konačno sagrađen sadašnji 1892. godine. O njegovoj sedamstoljetnoj povijesti svjedoče kronike i drugi zapisi, knjižnica i arhiv, predmeti i djela primijenjene i likovne umjetnosti i sl. Blok tema o srednjovjekovlju posvećen je vladarskim ispravama izdanim u Sutjesci i na Bobovcu, njihovim jezičnim osobitostima, proglašenju Bosne kraljevstvom, stećcima sačuvanim u sutješkom kraju, slici uskrslog Krista i kralja Stjepana Tomaša, te vezama Bosne i Dubrovnika. U stoljećima osmanske vladavine, Kraljeva Sutjeska više nije imala ono političko značenje kao u vrijeme bosanske državne samostalnosti. Prestala je biti kraljevsko rezidencijalno sjedište, ali je ostala duhovno središte katolika i jedna od najvažnijih pastoralnih i kulturnih destinacija bosanskih franjevaca, a danas mjesto gdje su se ponajbolje sačuvali tragovi njihove višestoljetne prisutnosti. Stoga je niz referata posvećen kulturnom djelovanju bosanskih franjevaca, prije svega pisanoj riječi: ljetopisu sutješkoga samostana, latinskom pjesništvu, spisateljskim djelima nastalim u Sutjesci, ali također i prosvjetnom i školskom radu franjevaca u puku, uvjetima življenja pod osmanskom vlašću, kao i demografskoj slici katolika Sutjeske i okolice. 100 godina Franjevačke teologije u Sarajevu 1909.-2009.

Franjevačka teologija je u povodu stotinu godina svoga postojanja i djelovanja u Sarajevu (1909-2009) organizirala znanstveni skup i proslavu pod naslovom 100 godina Franjevačke teologije u Sarajevu: 1909.-2009. Znanstveni skup je održan 6. i 7. studenog 2009. u amfiteatru Franjevačke teologije, a 8. studenog – na dan blaženog Ivana Duns Škota, zaštitnika naše Teologije – održana je proslava tako što je svećeničkom euharistijskom slavlju predsjedao provincijal Bosne Srebrene fra Lovro Gavran. Za vrijeme euharistijskog slavlja izvedena je Missa Bosniensis Andrije Pavliča: Bosanska misa posvećena sv. Franji Asiškom, svim nesretnima, ispaćenima i izgubljenima ovoga svijeta, te bosanskim franjevcima i zboru Pontanima, koji je izveo misu. Zbor Pontanima je osnovao profesor naše Teologije fra Ivo Marković. Dirigirao je skladatelj Bosanske mise Andrija Pavlič (inače je dirigent zbora Pontanima Josip Katavić). Sudjelovali su Amila Bakšić, sopran; Zana Staniškovska, alt; Jasmin Bašić, tenor; Ivica Šarić, bas; i Dario Vučić, orgulje. Pokrovitelj Znanstvenog skupa i proslave je bio Željko Komšić, predsjedavajući Predsjedništva BiH. Koji je smisao Franjevačke teologije i uopće koji je smisao franjevačke škole mišljenja od srednjeg vijeka pa do danas? Evo kratkog odgovora. Franjevci, koji su bili nadareni za filozofsko i teološko mišljenje, nastojali su veličanstvenu viziju Franje Asiškog filozofski i teološko razraditi. Vizija Franje Asiškog, koja se temelji na Isusovu evanđelju, naglašava bratstvo i sestrinstvo svih ljudi, ne samo svih ljudi, nego i svih bića, to jest svih Božjih stvorenja u svemiru. Sva bića u svemiru su braća i sestre po stvorenosti. Jednakost među bićima uključuje i razliku među bićima, jer je svako biće originalno. I samo različita bića mogu biti u jedinstvu. Tom vizijom i njezinim prakticiranjem u svom životu Franjo Asiški je ponudio alternativu svijetu mržnje i nasilja, u kojem i danas živimo. To je on rekao svojom poznatom rečenicom koja glasi: “Exivi de saeculo” - “Izašao sam iz svijeta nasilja.” Izašao je iz svijeta nasilja i počeo osnivati svijet mira. Zadaća svih odgovornih bića jest izlazak iz svijeta nasilja i uspostavljanje svijeta mira, slobode i ljubavi. Zamislimo svijet bez nasilja i zamislimo svijet u kojem nasilje više neće biti moguće. Koliko su veliki franjevački mislioci tu viziju uspješno razradili i koliko su franjevci Bosne Srebrene, koji su živjeli i djelovali na Franjevačkoj teologiji, to mišlju i djelom svjedočili, to jest otjelotvorili, neka prosude drugi. U radovima sa znanstvenog skupa, koji se ovdje objavljuju, autori su obrađivali važne teme iz različitih perspektiva, pri čemu se moglo uvidjeti da je do Istine moguće doći samo dijalogom različitih perspektiva. Dijalogom uviđamo da je Istina jedna i da nas Istina sve nadilazi i povezuje u jednu zajednicu, ne samo nas, nego i cijelo čovječanstvo. Karl Jaspers je rekao: Istina je ono što nas povezuje (Wahrheit ist, was uns verbindet).

Magic in the past in its various forms, perceptions and definitions has been a popular subject of modern Western scholarship for a long time. In the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, in contrast, the issue of magic is still a rather neglected area of study. Apart from the study of witchcraft and apart from ethnologists or anthropologists, whose research interests usually include present or recent case studies and phenomena, the subject of magic has not yet received due attention from historians and other scholars of the humanities of the region. This can be partly explained by the fact that while communist policy with its stress on the class struggle preferred certain topics, mainly political, economic and social history, it practically brought other fields and research interests to a standstill.

The publication presents results of ethnographic research of holidays of 21st Century in Slovakia. The original empirical findings described in the different chapters of this monograph present opinions of authors through the study of specific holidays on their current social functions, and outline the picture of the Slovak society in the 21st century in the mirror of these holidays. Particular parth of the publication focuses on three chosen holidays: Anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising (SNP), Christmas and Halloween. Specifically we observe the legislative preparation and changes of the Holiday Act.

Srpska konzervativna misao

U razvojnim tokovima srpske filozofske i teološke misli – kao i političke ili društvene misli – organska ili organicistička misao svakako nije neka nepoznata komponenta. Dok je srpska liberalna ili socijalistička misao – posebno kasnije marksistička misao – relativno dobro sistematizovana i proučena, organicistička misao je ostala na neki način po strani i reklo bi se da nije privukla pažnju kakvu nesumnjivo zaslužuje. Kada je već osamdesetih godina XX veka došlo do sloma mnogih idejnih tokova i političkih koncepata, zanimanje za srpsku organicističku misao ne samo da je poraslo već je ona doživela neku vrstu renesanse – barem njeni sledbenici tako kažu – i iznova je postala aktuelna. Verovatno je to bio razlog mnogih nesporazuma oko definisanja i redefinisanja te misli, posebno nesporazuma oko termina koji bi bili najprikladniji. Ta misao se u nekim slučajevima određuje u krugu filozofske misli kod Srba, u drugim pak, što je ispravnije, ona se izučava uporedo sa drugim tokovima misli. Uglavnom nedostaje njeno sistematičnije izučavanje, iako su neka istraživanja do sada dala solidne rezultate. Sve do danas, međutim, mogu se sresti neke definicije naglašeno ideološki intonirane, što naravno smeta u pokušajima njenog pravilnog definisanja. U drugim kulturama – kod Rusa i Francuza, posebno – tih problema, reklo bi se, nema. Kada E. Sioran određuje prirodu utemeljivača francuske organicističke misli, on svom radu daje podnaslov Esej o reakcionarnoj misli.

Traditional Folk Culture in Moravia: Time and Space

In 1624, Abraham Goos, a Dutch graphic designer and map publisher, published a map of Moravia. I. A. Comenio was identified as the author of the map. Jan Amos Komenský (1592–1670), or John Amos Comenius, was the Bishop of the Bohemian Brethren, a philosopher, an educational theorist, and a man with a wide range of knowledge. He prepared materials for this cartographic work before he went into exile; he had planned to use the map as a supplement to his work about the history of Moravia. However, the result of his research and documentary work, which was intended to improve on the older Fabricius map, soon became a fully-fledged item in the list of his essential works. The 1624 publication was followed by more, and the original served as the basis for a number of versions that differed only in minor details or in the place of publication and publisher.

This book includes studies conducted on the basis of field research by academics specialized in social anthropology in various universities in Turkey. Anthropological studies on migration date back a long way. Leaving their desk in the office, anthropologists have taken to the field, placing participatory observations and in-depth interviews at the center of their research. The story of this book emerged from the thoughts of anthropologists, who had made presentations on migration, coming together during a symposium and discussing how to write about such a topic. A qualitative research method was used in work containing examples from Ankara, Istanbul, Burdur, Van, Ardahan, Sivas and Hatay. The focal groups had been displaced and/or had witnessed war. This book is composed of eleven chapters. The majority of the studies were conducted with the participation of Syrian immigrants. The wave of compulsory emigration from Syria due to the continuing conflict in the country has affected Turkey deeply. Sociology as the main concern appears in the works included in the book Razumijevanje društva (Understanding of society) which arised as a result of academic teamwork and cooperation. One of the goals for making and publishing this book is to focus on some of the principal areas of sociology in the manner that it will include the scientific and research fields of the authors of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo. The book represents theoretical insights into some of the most important sociological disciplines. In the context of sociological perspectives, the works include the nature and understanding of society, a theory of society with a focus on the approach to sociology as a specific science with its subject and methods. From the point of view of the individual in society, the works are conceived in a way to present the relationship between culture and society, the field of sociology of violence and to give theoretical explanations about society as a system and structure. The third chapter of the book covers three units, namely social inequalities and poverty, society and population, and rural and urban society. Furthermore, the segment of social institutions emphasizes the relations of education, religion and politics and society, as well as the issues of the modern family and tradition. The section on the human environment implies reflections on social changes in general, but also on changes in the modern world, social ecology and research issues of ethnology / social anthropology. The book ends with an article on the development of sociology in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We hope that this book will fulfill its mission of better understanding social reality in both traditional and modern theoretical framework and in that sense will be useful to students of sociology emphasizing the important emancipatory role of sociology.

The publication follows the traditional rural house from the point of view of building materials, house arrangement, echoes of styles as well as timbered and sacral buildings. It features an interdisciplinary approach that includes methodological procedures applied by architects, preservationists, historians and ethnologists. Even though the rural house was a theme of synthetic works, one did not succeed in explaining all the genetic and typological issues; moreover, the researchers’ interpretations differ on a lot of phenomena. Historical research of constructions and ethnologic research, applying new methods of dating recently, as well as plan documentation discovered in archive funds offer new knowledge that corrects the hitherto findings based on the application of traditional macroscopic methods.

The publication brings about the linguistic material related to the present day, to current literary studies, social media, and informal conversations of the natives. It aims to comprehensively present Zaolzie's linguistic situation in a way that is also friendly to readers outside the academic environment. It shows the traditional Zaolzie dialect in the literary works of local writers and poets, who use its ludic values, and in the fiction of Czech-language regional writers. The subsequent chapters draw attention to dialectal communication in social networks: websites, podcasts, vlogs, chats, etc. According to the authors, the presence of the dialect in the Zaolzie society results from the need to promote the region and its specificity.
