Autorul a reuşit să surprindă în mod panoramic, cu o profunzime deosebită a cercetării raportul dintre Revelaţie şi inspiraţie, arătând în primul rând că acestea sunt lucrări iconomice cu finalitate soteriologică atât a Persoanei dumnezeieşti a Fiului, cât şi a Persoanei dumnezeieşti a Duhului Sfânt; în al doilea rând, autorul prezintă relaţia dintre Revelaţie şi inspiraţie ca o relaţie dintre întreg şi parte, cele două manifestări fiind în mod cert indisolubile şi unitare. De asemenea, autorul demonstrează că Revelaţia nu poate fi confundată cu vreun act derulat în planul secundar al viitorologiei; prin Revelaţie se descoperă voia şi planul iconomic al Sfintei Treimi şi nu neapărat viitorul interpretabil de omul desacralizat. În acelaşi timp inspiraţia nu trebuie să fie circumscrisă „cultului alesului”, nici redusă la subiectivitatea autonomă şi superficială post-modernă, ci ea este – în evaluarea misionară ortodoxă – o sacramentală iluminare a aghiografului de către Duhul Sfânt, fără ca raţiunea, voinţa sau libertatea acestuia să fie în vreun fel afectată.Autorul are meritul de a fi accentuat – într-o viziune profund ortodoxă – centralitatea Mântuitorului, atât în actul Revelaţiei, cât şi al inspiraţiei şi deopotrivă de a opune – în mod salutar – misiunea profetică a Bisericii ocultismului contemporan cu nocivele sale consecinţe. Mai mult, autorul prezintă cu deosebită competenţă cadrul eterodox ce raţionalizează actul inspiraţiei dumnezeieşti prin intermediul ipotezelor: ipoteza instrumentului, a dictării, a mesagerului şi nu în ultimul rând, cea a extazului.Autorul denunţă falsa religiozitate – cu privire la Revelaţie şi la inspiraţie – atât în interiorul creştinătăţii, cât şi în exteriorul acesteia. Astfel, pseudo-religiozitatea creştină occidentală – complet diferită de cea ortodoxă răsăriteană – este redată prin aşa-numita „revelaţie deschisă” şi este fundamentală pentru tot ceea ce numim neo-protestantism; în egală măsură, pseudo-religiozitatea seculară se manifestă printr-o neo-gnoză sau un neo-gnosticism, ce ocultează în tipurile noastre vechiul gnosticism păgân din perioada primară a Bisericii, în fapt fiind o pseudo-cunoaştere ce are un fundament ne-revelat şi se plasează în exteriorul spaţiului ecclesial

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the national consciousness of the Norwegian elites in the 18th century, on the background of such identity in previous, 16th and 17th century. In the case of the earlier centuries the forms of national identity both in term of the upper classes and the peasant population are investigated. The beginning moment is associated with the loss of independence and incorporation to Denmark in 1536. As the ending point the so called conspiracy in Eda Skanse (1790) was chosen, the moment when four Norwegian merchants began to prepare a plan of breaking the union with Denmark and establishing, with the support from Sweden, an independent state. Nevertheless, this event should not be seen as evidence that such ideas were widespread, on the contrary it can be used rather as a symbol of changes. But in the next decade, the 90s, we can talk of national consciousness, which in fact was very close to modern nationalism. The turning point in the development of the national identity, and in Norwegian history as a whole, was the year 1660, when the absolutist regime was introduced in Denmark-Norway by the King Frederic III...

This volume is the first in the series of doctoral dissertations initiated by the Institute of Art History of the Latvian Academy of Art and intended to make art-historical research more accessible to a wider public. The book provides an historical survey of ideas in Latvian art theory (1900–1940) so far not examined in detail. General problems regarding visual arts are in focus, particularly definitions of art. Texts under scrutiny have been selected from a wide variety of sources – books, collected articles, magazines, newspapers, unpublished manuscripts, diaries, etc., authored by artists, poets, critics, historians and representatives of other professions. The influx of radical changes in Latvian artistic practice since the late 1980s has also increased the role of theoretical statements, inviting elucidation of historical precedents. Where should one draw the line between acceptable and even necessary “alien” elements and blind submission to foreign avant-garde examples? The conclusion that Latvian culture exists at the cross-roads of the most diverse influences reveals a persistent situation of choice that is not only a matter of the history of art theory but also of theoretical thinking on art in the present.

Autorka niniejszej publikacji opisuje problem na przykładzie Polski, która bardzo aktywnie wykorzystuje swoje zasoby miękkiej siły co najmniej od połowy lat dziewięćdziesiątych. Podobnie czynią inne państwa, zwłaszcza kraje małe i średnie. Książka Profesor Beaty Ociepki jest pierwszą w naszym kraju próbą opisania mariażu soft power z dyplomacją publiczną. Jest to o tyle ważne, że Polska należy do grupy krajów mających nie tylko interesy, lecz także ambicje – jest krajem aktywnym, chcącym zmieniać swe otoczenie. Realizacji jej ambicji może pomóc dyplomacja publiczna i soft power. Pod warunkiem wszakże, umiejętnego wykorzystania potencjału jakie obie niosą. Praca Beaty Ociepki jest z tego punktu widzenia niesłychanie potrzebna.

Stany Zjednoczone i Republikę Federalną Niemiec łączą stosunki, które stanowią ważny filar zaangażowania Ameryki w Europie. Stąd ich znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa europejskiego i porządku międzynarodowego. Od momentu zjednoczenia Niemiec wiele się zmieniło we wzajemnych relacjach. Był to zarówno efekt nowych uwarunkowań międzynarodowych, jak i skutek odzyskania przez Niemcy pełnej suwerenności oraz ich rosnących aspiracji politycznych. Silniejsze Niemcy stały się bardziej asertywne wobec oczekiwań Waszyngtonu. Dynamika wydarzeń międzynarodowych spowodowała także redefinicję amerykańskich celów i metod działania na arenie światowej, co nie pozostało bez wpływu na kształt relacji z Berlinem. O tym wszystkim mowa jest w prezentowanej książce. Analizując ewolucję stosunków amerykańsko-niemieckich w ostatnim ponad ćwierćwieczu, próbowano odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy RFN zyskała nowe miejsce w strategii Waszyngtonu. Czy jako silniejszy podmiot postępowała odpowiedzialnie i wiarygodnie w relacjach z amerykańskim supermocarstwem? Czy z kolei USA wyciągnęły właściwe wnioski z faktu, że ich partnerem jest państwo o dużym potencjale gospodarczym i znaczącej randze politycznej? Czy potrafiły optymalnie i skutecznie współpracować z nowymi Niemcami? Biorąc pod uwagę znaczenie dla Polski dobrych relacji zarówno z Niemcami, jak Stanami Zjednoczonymi, starano się określić implikacje stanu stosunków na linii Waszyngton-Berlin dla polskich interesów. Czy udało się te cele osiągnąć, pozostawiam życzliwej ocenie czytelników.

The teaching and learning of Romanian as non-native language

The present book addresses to the teachers and would-be teachers who contemplate on the efficiency of the teaching-learning process in the context of studying the Romanian language in the schools and classes of national minorities, especially in those of the Hungarian minority. In these seven chapters we approach social and linguistic moments of the reality, both in practice, focusing on its contrastive grammar connotations, and in its psycho-pedagogical relevance, as it is present in the schools. At the end we offer our readers a detailed list of definitions of the special notions used in this field. In the present book we used the notion “Romanian as non-native language" first of all in order to describe the phenomenon by means of a short and easy to use term, which also reflects the complex existence of the bilingual person in the context of institutional language acquisition, preponderantly in schools with teaching language of national minorities. These subjects are from different, mostly monolingual backgrounds, but also from bilingual or multilingual families. The term we use has also the advantage of attracting attention to the special character of the phenomenon, reflecting the fact that it has a very differing status from foreign languages. In this context, the present text describes the optimal skills and competencies of any efficient teacher, clarifies basic notions and definitions of the institutional bilingualism, this latter's forms and errors and mistakes caused by different aspects of bilingualism, including their solving, too. The text also refers to the outstanding didactic value of linguistic code switching. It worth mentioning how bilingualism creates and constitutes meaning and sense, and what effects it has on the non-native language related reading and expressing actions. I consider that the present writing may constitute a premise to the elaboration of new textbooks, academic writings, and I hope the ideas formulated here will offer creative points of reference in the education and formation of teachers and would-be teachers.”

Women of Kurdistan: A Historical and Bibliographic Study documents a century long history of Kurdish women’s struggles against oppressive gender relations and state violence. It speaks to bibliographic silences on Kurdish women; silences that are systemic and structured, with many factors contributing to their (re)production. The book records extensive literature on violence perpetrated by the family, community, and the state as well as presenting the reader with a vibrant archive of resistance and struggle of Kurdish women. The analysis avoids the fashionable state-centered scholarship, which purifies processes of nation-building, state-building, and disguises their violence. The image depicted of the women of Kurdistan in this bibliography is shaped also by the languages we have chosen: English, French, and German. It is a record of material in languages that are not spoken by the majority of the Kurds. It will, therefore, be different from a bibliography of works in the Kurdish language, which have a majority of Kurdish authors, with more entries on topics such as poetry, fiction, education, and arts.

Informirano, obrazovano i odgovorno donošenje odluka utemeljeno na kritičkom mišljenju je ideal i izazov s kojim se pojedinac i društvo kontinuirano susreću. Živimo doba tzv. liminalnih trenutaka, kada stara pravila prestaju da vrijede, a zajednice kojima ljudi pripadaju prestaju značiti ono što su nekada bile, vrijeme liminalnog prostora iz kojeg je izronila novomedijska zbilja upravljana vladajućom teorijom, tačnije uvjerenjem, da će tehnološka organizacija informacija stvoriti red iz haosa. Ako su tehnološke platforme imale za cilj organizirati svjetske informacije i učiniti ih univerzalno dostupnim i korisnim (Google), učiniti svijet otvorenijim i povezanijim (Facebook), zašto je sve onda toliko haotično? Ova dva navedena poslovna kreda, misije, poslovne filozofije, Googlea i Facebooka, direktno opisuju da je upravljanje diskursom društvene disrupcije, tačnije informacijskim neredom nastalim digitalnim stanjem (Stalder 2018) korporativna fantazma vrijednosti platformski posredovanog svijeta.

The publication aims to promote outdoor education as a strong teaching strategy, to describe its links to the school curriculum, and to offer teachers a helping hand in developing the concept of outdoor education. All of this is based on exploring the benefits of outdoor education in teaching and promoting physical activity, which is a natural part of it. The first part of the book analyses how outdoor education is established in the Czech school curriculum, outlining the steps necessary for outdoor education to be implemented, in terms of preparation of both the teachers and pupils. This section also provides recommendations for the development of an outdoor education concept for elementary schools. The second part of the publication is devoted to outdoor education research conducted in cooperation with elementary school teachers, pupils of a model elementary school and their parents, are presented in detail.

The main aim of the research was to analyze the genesis of the scale and the dynamics of the volatility in the exercise of the mandate of a deputy to the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. I chose national and regional parliaments for analysis to find out to what extent volatlity in the performance of deputies’ mandates interfere in Serbia on these two levels (in other words: how often regional deputies "cross" to the national parliament – and vice versa). Analyzing the intraparliamentary volatility on the personal level, I decided to examine both party-switching and replacement. I tried to refer the findings of the researchers - focused on the systems of consolidated democracy and parliaments at the national level - to the case of unconsolidated democracy and parliaments at various levels: central and regional. An additional goal of the study was to trace the dynamics in the evolution of the party systems in Serbia and Vojvodina, in order to show that in fact these systems remain fragmented and extremely polarized, which is important for the scale and dynamics of the volatility in the exercise of deputies’ mandates.
