The aim of this research was characteristic of people who was contemned for children sexual abuse. This research was contained over 185 men in age 20- 60. When a practitioner has an additional personal or professional relationship with a client, objectivity, selfless commitment to the client, and client trust are all endangered to some degree. Having more than one relationship with a person with whom there is or has been a professional relationship is called a multiple relationship or nonprofessional interaction. The terms boundary crossing and boundary violation are also used, the former to designate multiple relationships at low risk for harm to clients, and the latter to identify high risk relationships. Nonsexual multiple relationships with clients can impair objectivity, interfere with therapeutic progress, and affect the client’s emotional connection to the clinician. They also can intensify the power difference between professional and client, and can result in exploitation of clients. However, because not all multiple relationships can be avoided, especially in rural settings, professionals need to examine carefully whether to start a particular multiple relationship. Bartering-trading goods or services instead of money for counseling-is also a practice discouraged by the ethics codes, but not forbidden.

However, by damage to nerves, blood vessels and anatomical structures and by causing scarring, may lead to impaired sexual function. Introduction. In the research there were carried out family, sociological and sexual interviews amongst men and women of various sexual orientation. Their sexuality was assessed and compared to the group of heterosexuals. Case and methods. The research material was composed of 150 people of different sexual orientation (homosexual and bisexual). The surveys were filled out in a gay club and through gay web portal. Each of the participants was asked to answer 30 questions. Data were presented with frequency distributions and cross-tabulations. Frequencies were presented on graphs. Results and conclusions. There was indicated that the family relations and their influence on sexual life of people of different sexual orientation do not differ substantially from those observed at heterosexual people. A great majority of interviewees wants same-sex marriages legalization and half of the interviewees is opting for same-sex adoption. Condom has occurred to be the most frequent method of preventing sexual diseases amongst homosexuals. It appears that educating society and promoting anti-discrimination attitude of people of different sexual orientation may enhance the quality of their lives as well as diminish social pressure exerted on them related to heterosexual family model

Strategies and preferences of men and women looking for a mate determine behavior of the potential partner. Men generally prefer that their long-term partners are youthful and physically attractive. Men, in particular, engage in behaviors designed to prevent and anticipate their partner's sexual infidelity. Women generally prefer that their long-term partners are at good health, have existing resources or clear potential for securing resources and display a willingness to invest those resources in children the relationship might produce.

Sexual exploitation of clients by therapists is a blatantly unethical practice, as is sexual contact with students, employees, supervisees, research participants, and others for whom the professional has responsibility. Sexual contact with former clients is always prohibited for at least two years after the termination of therapy. Even after two years, sexual contact is permitted only in the most unusual circumstances and only in some professions. The codes do not directly address the issue of sexual contact after teaching or supervision responsibilities have ended, but in these cases professionals must demonstrate that the supervisory responsibilities have truly ceased. Moreover, they must be able to show that the sexual contact is nonexploitive. Sexual misconduct needs to be distinguished from experiences of sexual arousal. A great majority of counselors and therapists report having been sexually attracted to a clients on occasion. The experience of attraction is not unethical in itself as long as it handled responsibly. Given this context, it is not surprising that the use of nonerotic touch as a therapeutic approach is controversial. Nonerotic touch is inappropriate if it serves the professional’s needs over the clients” or is insensitive to cultural, social, or gender considerations.

When taking into consideration addiction to sexual activities, modern pharmacotherapy (biological treatment) subordinates it to the number of fluctuations within the neurotransmitter system in various areas of the brain. Not only does the neurobiology of sexual behaviors comprise monoamines, but it is also regulated by the androgens, mainly by their major representative – the testosterone. First attempts of curing sex-addicted patients (especially sex offenders) involved surgical neutering followed by neurosurgical treatment. The research based on the assumption of neuromodulatory influence of monoamines: the dopamine, serotonin and noradrenalin on humans” sexual behaviors led to a hypothesis, according to which addiction to sexual behaviors would be an outcome of dysfunctions within the neurotransmitter systems of the aforementioned transmitters. On the basis of such an assumption treatment was introduced concerning sex-addicted patients comprising the use of medications influencing the monoaminergic systems: selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). Single case analyses also point out the effectiveness of other medications, e.g. the naltrexone, or anti-epilepsy drugs (especially topiramate). Testosterone is a vital androgen determining males” and partially females” sexual behaviors. Numerous tests and researches prove effectiveness of hormonal treatment: anti-androgens (cyproterone acetate, medroxyprogesterone acetate) and the LHRH agonists (leuprolide, triptorelin, goserelin) lowering the level of testosterone within the organism, thus making them useful in a number of more complex clinical cases as reversible pharmacological neutering agents. Creating of one, universal algorithm for treating addicted patients is a complex task, mostly because of the need to treat the co-morbid psychological disorders like anxiety states and mood disorders.

Hypertension and diabetes are main etiological reason for erectile dysfunction in men. Medicines used in antihypertensive treatment may create disturbances in physiological mechanism of erection and cause difficulties in erectile function. Old generation medicines used in antihypertensive therapy negatively affect the quality of erection, however the ones from the new generations are either neutral or may positively influence mens erectile efficiency.

Over the past three years in the Department of Urology of Medical Academy in Gdansk we have reported three men complaining too little angle of erection (the penis significantly close to abdominal wall). It make sexual relations impossible. Problems consisted of difficulties in the penetration of vagina and pain during the intercourse reported by both partners. The intersection of penis” ligaments is a part of the operation of extending penis (Burman’s method). The adverse effects are the increased angle of erection and the risk of loss stability of penis. Using the experiences learned from „penis extension” sick were proposed intersection the ligaments of penis anticipating about possible adverse consequences. Results: When examining the three reported cases, we believe that correcting surgery should be performed at pharmacologically caused erection. Midoperationaly assessment of the possibility of increasing the angle of erection better control treatment and help to avoid the risk of loss stability of penis.

People who establish a relationship, establish a system. The structure of this system is a rather complicated network of mutual relations, connections and sets of schemata of the entire sequence of interactions between its members or – as Minuchin (1974) says – „The invisible network of functional requirements that condition the manner in which family members remain in interaction”. The network consists of a collection of implicit rules which govern the family and marriage transactions. A symptom developed by one of the partners that is a reason for beginning therapy is in fact a way to divide power in the relationship. Differentiation is a personal trait which reveals itself by pertaining a clearly established sense of self in a situation of emotional and physical intimacy. A differentiated person (with a high level of self-differentiation) does not lose a sense of self while being in a relationship. A weakly differentiated person refrains from or avoids the sexual intercourse and displays a weak sexual desire. Weak and strong sexual desire is in fact a position occupied by each of the partners in the system. The partner with a weaker sexual desire is always in control of sex while remaining in power. Personal development, the quest for identity and the increase of differentiation lead to an increased sexual desire. The sexual genogram uses traditional systemic therapy tool to explore issues of sexuality in the structure and belief system of the patient’s family of origin.

This article presents issues connected with boys masturbation. The special emphasis was placed on the description of its role at different stages of sexual development – from childhood to adolescence. The author interprets sexual development as a process of formation of the internal psychological structures relating to a particular sex, such as core gender identity, gender-role identity and sexual-partner orientation. Every stage of development is accompanied by adequate forms of sexual expression. They are not only a manifestation of the process mentioned above, but also a factor influencing its results. Masturbation is one example of such forms. Furthermore, the article presents the results of a research indicating the existence of relation between masturbation and different aspects of sexual life. The answer to the question about developmental or pathological significance of masturbation is connected with the possibility of defining the right directions in sexual education and therapy.

The prostitution is one of the oldest phenomenon of the social pathology. Most often characteristics this phenomenon are: give their bodies in order to satisfy needs of clients, profit from prostitution and lack of bonds in a sexual relationship. Known literature lists a lot of psychic side – effects of prostitution, among these: shame and dislike for themselves, inability to sincere experience of feeling, separation the emotional from the sexual sphere. The continual risk themselves in violence and abuse causes women live in a constant tension and fear. Many of them shows symptoms of CPTSD. Most of them are addicted to alcohol and drugs. They apply also the dissociation and the strategy of „making out” to escape from the reality. Mostly prostitutes have immature personality, they reveal disorders in the emotional sphere, they are incapable of making normal social contacts. These traits can be however both causes and effects of prostitution.

E-therapy can be defined as a relationship between mental health professional and the patient established via the Internet. In Poland accessibility to sexologist is very low and sexual health issues are regarded as a taboo topic. Therefore, the aim of this report was to prepare an overview of literature on application of e-therapy to sex therapy. Four articles were found and all e-sex therapies involved people with isolated sex dysfunctions and convinced that this can be an effective treatment. The majority of such patients regarded e-therapy as helpful. It appears that electronic communication should serve rather as means of psychoeducation and redirecting to face to face contact with appropriate professional. There is also need for scientific research into long-term efficiency of e-therapy

Ireland has become one of the main destination countries for Polish migrants after Poland’s EU accession in 2004. While much of the literature on Polish migration to Ireland post-2004 focuses on its labour-market element, in this paper we analyse the political participation of Polish migrants. We utilise data from a survey conducted by the Centre of Migration Research (University of Warsaw) with Polish migrants in Ireland which documents low levels of political engagement as measured by voting turnout in Polish presidential and parliamentary elections as well as the Irish local elections and elections to the European Parliament.A lack of knowledge about political participation rights or how to engage in voting is one explanation for the low levels of voting, especially in Irish local and European parliamentiary elections. Another explanation may be the attitude that migrants have towards the political system and how they can influence it. Polish migrants predominantly report that they have no or little influence on politics in Poland and have relatively less trust in the authorities and politicians there (compared to Ireland). The key individual-level characteristic affecting Polish migrant respondents’ electoral participation in Ireland is their (lack of) voting habit formed before migration.

Celem autora była weryfikacja hipotezy, zgodnie z którą, sytuacja epidemii koronawirusa COVID-19 negatywnie wpłynęła na realizację potrzeb psychicznych małżonków należących do wspólnoty Domowego Kościoła, w ujęciu teorii potrzeb A. Maslowa. Taki wniosek został postawiony na postawie analizy wpływu obostrzeń, wprowadzonych w Polsce w pierwszych trzech miesiącach (marzec-maj) pandemii COVID-19. Analiza 37 relacji małżonków należących do wyżej wspomnianej wspólnoty nie potwierdziła jednoznacznie postawionej hipotezy, gdyż okazało się, że spośród 254 wzmianek o potrzebach, tylko 82 zapisy mówiły o ich deprywacji, a 172 o ich zaspokojeniu. Źródła takich wyników zdają się być trojakie. Pierwszym wydaje się być brak silnych i stabilnych struktur społecznych. Ich niski poziom funkcjonowania, zgodnie z koncepcją Maslowa, negatywnie koreluje z poczuciem bezpieczeństwa, czyli przekłada się na niski poziom realizacji potrzeb psychicznych. Drugim źródłem wydaje się być filozofia życiowa badanych małżeństw, skupiająca się na rozwoju duchowym i rozwoju rodziny. Wartości te stanowią istotę formacji wspólnoty Domowego Kościoła, zatem można wysnuć wniosek, że przynależność do tej wspólnoty również pozytywnie wpływa na poczucie bezpieczeństwa i realizację potrzeb psychicznych. Trzecim źródłem może być poziom religijności badanych par, który koreluje z zaspokajaniem potrzeb psychologicznych małżonków, chociaż w naszej analizie zmienna ta nie była kontrolowana. Jedynie dalsze badania pozwolą rozstrzygnąć, która zwłaszcza z dwóch ostatnich przyczyn i w jakim stopniu decyduje o ostatecznym kształcie uzyskanych wyników.

Sprawą kluczową jest zdolność nawiązywania z taką osobę relacji przyjacielskiej czy wręcz terapeutycznej. Właściwa komunikacja ułatwia zrozumienie osoby i współpracę oraz może motywować ją do respektowania zaleceń medycznych. Odpowiedzialność za przebieg komunikacji spoczywa przede wszystkim na osobie pragnącej tego wsparcia udzielać, dlatego przede wszystkim to ona musi być świadoma przeszkód i błędów w komunikacji, które mogą występować i których należy unikać. Zostały one w artykule omówione. Niezbędne jest rozumienie osób będących w życia, jakim jest choroba czy starość. Dlatego zostały omówione typowe doznania psychiczne ludzi będących w takiej sytuacji, ich potrzeby zarówno psychiczne, jak i duchowe oraz możliwości zaradzenia im. Kluczową częścią artykułu jest omówienie uwarunkowań komunikacji wspierającej opartej na afirmacji, uważności i wrażliwym reagowaniu, respektującym bogatą już wiedzę o komunikacji z osobami chorymi i w podeszłym wieku. Słuchanie i rozumienie są myślą przewodnią w relacji pomagania i wspierania osób.
