Summary/Abstract: Sexual dysfunctions are a wide-spread disorder and also they are a critical reason for deterioration of quality of life both patients and their sexual partners. Hypertension and diabetes are main etiological reason for erectile dysfunction in men. Medicines used in antihypertensive treatment may create disturbances in physiological mechanism of erection and cause difficulties in erectile function. Old generation medicines used in antihypertensive therapy negatively affect the quality of erection, however the ones from the new generations are either neutral or may positively influence mens erectile efficiency.
