Фридрих Ницше – новата религия на метафизическия нихилизъм

Author(s): Rosen Rachev / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2018

Human life is an endless sequence of problem situations and ways to overcome them. Friedrich Nietzsche proclaims doubt and nihilism as forms of existence in problem situation. They are the foundation of the „reassessment of all values“. This reassessment is oriented to traditional, approved and wide spread principles and norms in society. The skepticism is an initial position and a transitional stage of denial. If someone denies something without thinking of it, he acts emotionally. Friedrich Nietzsche is a nihilist because his attitude is based on doubts, which are rationally motivated. In this paper the arguments are derived from his books “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”, “The Antichrist” and “Twilight of the Idols”.

За реалността и посоките във времесъзнанието (Част 1)

Author(s): Kosta Bentchev / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2018

This article raises the question concerning the reality of time through the concepts of cyclic vs. linear movement. These concepts are supposed to ground the basic dichotomy that is carried out as an analysis of time-consciousness. So called “segments” of time – past, present and future, are characterized as modalities (necessity, actuality, possibility, contingency) which in their turn are being interpreted as different kinds of parts within some broader complexes that comprise relations between the categories of the similarity and the difference. From this view-point, certain critical remarks are mentioned against the concept of time as being something of a substantial nature while moving from the past through the present and towards the future. At the end of the paper, the question concerning time is related to the traditional themes of Western metaphysics. They are assessed as having their origin in the position rooted in the opposition between continuum and discreteness. This final dichotomy is presented as what has been intended from the very beginning of the exposition under the guise of the initial dichotomy concerning the opposition of cyclic vs. linear movement.

За природата на отношението: Ръселовият реализъм и възможността за експликация на логическата форма

Author(s): Denitsa Zhelyazkova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2018

The article views the different way that Russell understands the point of attitude in 1903 in Principles of Mathematics and 1913 in the unpublished handwriting Theory of knowledge. Around 1903, the philosopher thinks that aRb and bR’a are two separate propositions, between which there is a visible difference in the meaning. In 1913 he denies his earlier point about the points being two. Russell does not hesitate to declare that the aRb is a single fact and it doesn’t matter if we’ll present it from a to b or from b to a, it’s just a language matter. The goal of the text is to express the motives and influences that provoke the british philosopher to give different answers in both of his texts and the consequences to which those answers lead. My purpose is to lighten the problems that Russell’s philosophical logic generates where most important are the ones about logical form, the conclusion and the affirmation.

The article discusses the first collection of literary fairy tales on the European scene as a continuationof the novelistic tradition to generate a narrative situation in which to tell the stories. The first fairy tales appeared in a collection of novellas, but the real affirmation of the fairy tale as a literary genre occurs when a framed story is a fairy tale. The transition from novella to fairy tale is dictated by the changed literary taste and some common genre features.

Трябва да се борим за правата на детето – педагогическите идеи на Корчак от перспективата на Омбудсмана по правата на детето

Author(s): Marek Michalak / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 9/2018

Responsibility today has become the main educational, social, cultural and political problem. Undoubtedly, the period of a special development of the child protection dates from XX century and continues until now. In the beginning, there were appeals and innovatory views on the education of children of the Swedish pedagogue and feminist Ellen Key, who proclaimed XX century as a “century of the child”. After that came the ideas, the creative work and mainly the practical activity of Janusz Korczak. When he was alive Korczak spoke on the topic of children`s protection: “side by side to the defender that knows paragraphs of the written laws, I insist to assign a place to the educator that knows the secrets of unwritten laws” – and by that as announcing the establishment of the institution ombudsman of human rights. Children`s rights are our common responsibility – of the government, the observing institutions, scientists, non-governmental activists, teachers, educators. We should fight for them, to insist, so we would not stand one day in front of the dilemma that Irena Sendlerowa posed, one of the greatest among us, who was rewarded in 2007 with the Medal of the Smile from children themselves: “And what the world did? The Great powers? The world was silent! And silence sometimes means to agree with what is happening”.

Children`s rights are not only with a legal but also with a pedagogical character. They take into account not only children`s specifics but they also bear educational messages. Janusz Korczak who is considered as a herald of the children`s rights has special merits in this respect. His idea regarding the children and childhood, which was exposed almost one hundred years ago, is reinvented again today and it is decoded as “pedagogical spirit” of the Convention of the rights of the child.

Author(s): Boryana Miteva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 6/2018

Integration process in the region of East Asia is a relatively new phenomenon in comparison with Europe or America. The idea for deepening East-Asian regional cooperation emerged during 50s and 60s of XX century. Nevertheless, East Asian countries were not ready to take steps in that direction yet. Although a few South East Asian countries managed to establish in 1967 first successfully operating regional organization – ASEAN, real attempts for deepening regionalism and integration, including East Asian countries, appeared after the end of the Cold War. This study aims to outline Beijing, Tokyo, and Seoul’s basic views on development of East Asian integration and to analyze similarities and differences between them. The study also attempts to explain what really prevents East Asian countries to achieve comprehensive and effective integration of the region.

Кирил Христов. Конструкти на въобразеното чуждо: славянство, славянщина

Author(s): Lyubka Lipcheva-Prandzeva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 6/2018

For the Bulgarian poet Kiril Hristov, the coordinate system of foreign-ness encompasses three fundamental ethnocultural dimensions: Italian-ness, Slavic-ness and German-ness. The present essay aims to discuss the two basic stages of the utopian modelling of Slavic-ness in his oeuvre. In his works such “Slavic sun” and “Fate” (the period before the Balkan wars), the poet vocally contested the potential of the “imposed” and “ready-made”, prescribed political project of Slavophils. In the novel “White devils” and his journal “The times and the contemporaries” (the period after WW1), Kiril Hristov built a utopian retrospective of the ideal foreign-ness through the story of the former “Wends” – the Slavic tribes that were forcefully melted in the Germanic world. The novel’s self leaves that Germany he used to dream about after realizing that it was the engulfed and forever lost Slavic-ness that had drawn him irresistibly to it in the first place.

This essay outlines the possibilities for chartering parallels between two collections of prose – “Under the Monastery Vine” by Elin Pelin and “The Well of Saint Clare” by Anatole France. The analogies and juxtapositions presented here stem from the categorical insistence on behalf of some scholars who see the two texts in terms of the following relation: follower (that of Elin Pelin) and prototype, model (that of Anatole France). The in-depth analysis of this relation reveals certain transformations of the model that are indicative of specific narrative decisions on the part of the Bulgarian author.

The article is reviewing the educational aids of classical literature in the context of publishing and education politics based on already published products that are in circulation on the market in the period 1990-2014. The analysis consists of a comparison of the internal elements such as selection of the texts, placing the application and textual preparation which allows us to divide them into two groups: Conventional – this is characterized by a complete structural and genre harmony between the components of each volume in the series. Commercial – characterized by the low quality of the editorial process. Both groups show the nature of the publishing choices, which vary widely, and allow us to talk about differences between these seemingly identical publishing products.

Idioms are ethno-specific markers, which are frequently used in colloquial speech. Introducing the foreign students with the cultural and axiological knowledge, accumulated in the idiomatic meaning, is а main component of the teaching process. The aim of this article is to represent the results of purposive survey questionnaires for foreign students. The results of the survey show whether the students understand the meaning of the so-called new idioms in Bulgarian. New idioms are an important part of everyday Bulgarian. They come up all the time in both written and spoken language. Idioms don‘t make sense literally and the students will need to familiarize themselves with the meaning and usage of each idiom. The most important methodological procedure is to provide idioms in context, so the students can fully understand the meaning.

Fiction and Faction Perplexity in the Historical Discourse

Author(s): Nysret Krasniqi / Language(s): English Issue: 4/2018

In this article the whole argument lies in discussing a close relationship between history and literature on the generic basis especially due to the long path of theoretical and philosophical coherence. From Antique to Postmodernism, the generic coherence of hybrid discursive formations dictated perplexity of defining perhaps separating the very idiosyncratic composition of them. Thus, this article deals with the philosophy of history in terms of its reflecting on literary discourse or in philosophy of literature. This ambiguity provoked many discussions hereby melted within the philosophical ideas and literary theories with the prior aim finding best possible ways toward idealized truth both in the discourse of history and literature.

За реалността и посоките във времесъзнанието (Част 2)

Author(s): Kosta Bentchev / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 4/2018

After critical attention is paid to the idea of time as a kind of flow (or of a river) – being an "arrow" that has its origins in a fixed point – incl. the idea that its beginning lies in the past, and that the future comes after that according to this received opinion, a proposal is made. The so-called segments (cuts) of time should be hypothetically re-arranged through changing the places of the first and the last (these are the past and the present). It is done by using modal categories, while related to parallels regarding not only experience of time but of space, too. This attempt to re-arrangement results in the explication of certain arguments in favor of the origin of metaphysics as a whole as grounded in the psychological phenomena of non-linearity.
