Despre studiile profesorului Marin Voicu

Author(s): Andrei Săvescu / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 01/2024

Professor Marin Voicu is one of the most remarkable authors in the legal world. His exceptional professional journey, long and rich career, along with his constant dedication to study, keeping up with legislative updates, and leveraging his prodigious experience, are the pillars of the studies gathered in the work 'Studies of European Law and Romanian Law, Volume Two.' Regarding the first volume, I said that 'if I had the power to establish obligations for jurists, Professor Marin Voicu's studies in this volume would be mandatory reading.' I maintain my opinion.

Ioan Milică, Fabrica de fraze: Eminescu în lumea presei, București, Editura Universității din București, 2023

Author(s): Denisa Gherman (Zaldea) / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 51/2024

In the volume "The Phrase Factory: Eminescu in the World of the Press," the Iași university professor Ioan Milică revisits Mihai Eminescu's journalism, which has been insufficiently explored from a linguistic perspective. A good connoisseur of Eminescu's creation, Ioan Milică aims to capture the stylistic profile of the journalist Eminescu in the context of the discursive spectacle of the late 19th-century press. For this purpose, the means of language sciences are used, particularly elements of rhetoric, stylistics, pragmatics, and text linguistics. However, the work is addressed to a wide audience, with the tools of linguistic research being put at the service of general reception.

Mihail Constantineanu, Doctor la oameni de seamǎ. Portrete. Amintiri. Evocǎri, București, Oscar Print, 2021

Author(s): Aura Lovin (Comorașu) / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 52/2024

His volume Doctor to Distinguished People. Portraits. Memories. Evocations, first launched in 2000 at Anastasia Publishing House, represents the significant work of Dr. Mihail Constantineanu, offering readers an insight into his relationships with the cultural personalities he cared for. As his good friend, writer and critic Alexandru Paleologu, said in the Preface of the first edition, the book Doctor to Distinguished People. Portraits. Memories. Evocations represents not just a work or a simple collection of texts, but illustrates "a unified work (and, as I hope will be seen further, a cyclical work), remarkably inspired and ingeniously composed."

The annual congresses organized by ARIP since its inception address, from a diachronic perspective, various aspects of the media system in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and the press of Romanian communities in Serbia, Hungary, and Ukraine, becoming some of the most prestigious events dedicated to the press in the Romanian scientific community.

Muzeul Etnografic Vișinelu – o încercare reușită de reconstituire a trecutului

Author(s): Dana Câmpean,Dana Maria Câmpean / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 2/2024

Vișinelu village (Mureș County) has emerged from anonymity, leaving its future generations a well organised and inventoried cultural heritage, an authentic testimony to the rural Romanian way of life. All aspects of rural life, from childbirth to death and all the events and activities in-between, are deeply rooted in the collective memory and must be safeguarded. Thus, the creation of a local museum that reunites objects that marked different social events and that aided the local community in their day to day life, is most welcomed. Setting up a local museum is no easy task. It requires the collective effort of heritage specialists. This initiative is proof that the cultural heritage is still very much alive in many villages. It must be seen as an impulse for ethnology specialists to conduct researches in rural communities, to inventory the existing heritage and to showcase it for future generations.

With a little from each of us, we were able to create a project that will make a difference in the public space and be a reference in the museum space. Through this joint, traveling exhibition, we have captured the characteristics of the ethnographic areas that each museum represents. It is an exhibition of 36 pieces of traditional costume. Objects from mobile heritage specific to Romanians and national minorities are proposed for documentation. We decided to tell the story of three objects to be presented in a common, traveling exhibition.

The sustainable world of museums

Author(s): Laura Cristina POP,Laura Cristina Pop / Language(s): English Issue: 2/2024

One of the major priorities of our century is sustainability, to which all the actions we undertake must be related, whether we are talking about individuals or whether we are referring to institutions. For this purpose, the museum must be considered as a company, the management rules of a company allow an adequate treatment of all the steps towards a sustainable approach. The 21st century is deeply marked by the need of finding ways to consider museums as an active part in the sustainability transition. Museums must start to implement sustainable policies and to become a voice in sustainable education.

Author(s): Sever Alicu / Language(s): Romanian Issue: 2/2024

Playing object, game object, hobby or system object can be anything. In this paper we will consider as object the toy in general and a certain toy in particular, given to the huge impact the latter has had on society over the last half century, impact that, without showing signs of fatigue, still continues to have nowadays. The toy is a magical vehicle that is invested with the power to be the basis on which it builds an ideal world from our point of view. An object that has the power to transport us in that world to which we are the ones who give shape. Of course, we are talking about a form of “domesticated” magic, yet magic. The toy, material or imaginary, is the cornerstone of play. The LEGO system has long gone beyond the toy industry, being applied nowadays on a huge area, including economic, engineering, space, educational, artistic field.
