As his good friend, writer and critic Alexandru Paleologu, said in the Preface of the first edition, the book Doctor to Distinguished People. Portraits. Memories. Evocations represents not just a work or a simple collection of texts, but illustrates "a unified work (and, as I hope will be seen further, a cyclical work), remarkably inspired and ingeniously composed."
