Summary/Abstract: In the volume "The Phrase Factory: Eminescu in the World of the Press," the Iași university professor Ioan Milică revisits Mihai Eminescu's journalism, which has been insufficiently explored from a linguistic perspective. A good connoisseur of Eminescu's creation, Ioan Milică aims to capture the stylistic profile of the journalist Eminescu in the context of the discursive spectacle of the late 19th-century press. For this purpose, the means of language sciences are used, particularly elements of rhetoric, stylistics, pragmatics, and text linguistics. However, the work is addressed to a wide audience, with the tools of linguistic research being put at the service of general reception.
