The article examines the educational process of kindergarten teachers in Shumen city at the end of the XIX century. It describes the prerequisites for the development of educational institutions where the future kindergarten teachers are trained. Emphasize is given to the role of community and charity for the development of young girls education in the city. It reviews the undergoing changes in the methods of the Ministry of Education in respect of the educational process of pedagogical specialists as well as the associated educational challenges. The article also analyzes the curriculums and provides information for the trainers and teachers.

The study traces the development of one of the key subsystems of the Integrated Management Information System implemented at the University of VelikoTarnovo, i.e. the subsystem “E-student”. In the study are presented the renewed design of the system and its new functionalities that expand and support learning and administrative activities in line with modern digital learning environment. An important condition for further development of the entire information system is the determination of students’ satisfaction with the subsystem fuctionality, but that is the subject of another study.

The paper discusses the stages of the process of introduction, understanding and assimilating new concepts. The ideas are based on some concrete cases of pyramid as well as on solving a chosen problem from the school course of geometry. All the figures in the paper are constructed by the mathematical software GeoGebra. As a result the constructions are precise and illustrative aiming at understanding the concept, its elements and relations. The paper studies learning the concept of pyramid throughout the primary and secondary teaching period by systemizing the component concepts and their assimilation in school course of mathematics.

The present paper considers some ideas for propаedeutics of the concept of function in primary school. Arithmetic problems are discussed, “upgraded” with additional questions and exemplary solutions are proposed. The aim is to create provoking possibilities for students to search and formulate relationships among variables, thus realizing generalizing reasoning on the base of the primary school curriculum.

The article is devoted to the resources of Facilitated communication, which is widely used as one of the alternative strategies of communication and interaction in children with multiple disorders. The worldwide experience with the implemented alternative method by using the computer to develop intentional communication skills in children with atypical development gives reason for formulating conclusions about the benefits of the technics of written communication development. The main stages are presented in the development of the skills for self-operation with the keyboard of the computer for coding of written information. The suggested procedures and recommendations are addressed to specialists and parents of the children with special communicative needs.

The organization of the education in fine arts at Institutes of Higher education needs orderliness in the professional development and gradual enrichment of the artistic visual thinking of fine arts students. This will avoid literariness and illustrativeness in the creating of pictorial compositions. So we set ourselves the task of organizing an experiment that would lead to the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge with artistic creativity and uniqueness of thinking through a series of exercises which develop the associative visuality. We consider that the enrichment of the systematic approach of teaching picturesque composition with practical exercises - “games of associations”, leads to a gradual development and enrichment of the associative visual thinking of the students.

Achieving consensus in society on the role of education and the characteristics of competences for sustainable development requires an institutional plan to adopt a coherent picture of the individual and his or her characteristics, which, on the one hand, differentiate him from others but set common behavioral attitudes. This topic is essential for the sustainable, shared behavior of all people on planet Earth in adapting to climate change and protecting biodiversity. Human nature is a part of it, and it is important from the kindergarten to realize education in sustainable development in understanding and interpreting the natural and social world surrounding the child. Interactive forms for attitudes towards natural and social objects and phenomena (processes) are important. Standards No. 13 for the GEOI set criteria and indicators for its meaningful and organizational achievement in additional forms of interaction. On this basis, the report interprets an experimental design model for sustainable pre-school development.

This paper attempts to put forward some problems of foreign language teaching in relation to cross-cultural communication. The introduction of cross-cultural issues in foreign language teaching is a logical consequence of the integrative tendencies which are getting more and more popular. The new circumstances require a different attitude towards the learners They should be viewed as subjects of their own culture on the one hand, and as representatives of the foreign culture through the language studied, on the other hand. The problem is discussed in terms of its cognitive, emotional and pragmatic dimensions. The acquisition of proper language communication is placed within the context of cross-cultural education.
