This post was created in response to the fi lm Gladiator. Gladiators were people who had no rights under Roman law and was mainly of slaves, prisoners of war or convicted person. This fascinating fi lm shows the viewer not only the beauty of ancient Rome, but also the government of Emperor Commodus, which does not correspond to reality The Oscar- -winning fi lm also highlights the fact that the gladiators were slaves or Roman law considered only thing that belonged to the property owner.
