Summary/Abstract: The author of this contribution examines plagiarism of the musical works. It refers to provisions of the Copyright Act which form the legal basis of protection of individual rights and analyzes the legal determination of plagiarism of musical Works where he considers the author‘s creativity as an essential attribute of the assessment of the originality of musical works.
