Summary/Abstract: The contribution deals with legal regulation of employee works in the legal system of the Slovak Republic. It defines the scope of the Labour Code in relation to other legislation as well as their relationship to regulation in the Labour Code. Author describes the international and European standards of copyright protection and analyzes the legal protection of employee works. The contribution defines the relationships between authors of these works and employers in addition to exercise their legal rights. The contribution also includes a negative definition of the feasibility of copyright in the modifications in the Labour Code.
