Bosna i Bošnjaci 40-ih godina 19. stoljeća u koncepcijama iliraca i spisima savremenika
This paper is based on sources, contemporary newspapers: Danice ilirske, Novina horvatskih, works of Matija Mažuranić, Dragoslav Seljan, Ivan Kukuljević Sakcinski, professional literature, investigated actions leading figures of the Illyrian movement, or, according to some, the Croatian National Revival in the first half 19th century. Special attention was paid to the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the specified time, then the work of Matija Mažuranić's trip to Bosnia and his vision of Bosnia and its population, then works of Bosnian Franciscan Ivan Kukuljevic Sakcinski and the way he saw and presented Bosnia and Bosniaks. The main objective is to discuss the territorial scope, place and role which it was intended to Bosnia and Herzegovina, its population (Orthodox, Catholics, Muslims and others), to the emergence and spread of the Illyrian ideas and ideology during the first half of the 19th century, with special emphasis the contribution to the Illyrian movement of Matija Mažuranić, Ivan Kukuljević Sakcinski, and analysis and the importance of their work.
