Andrićeva “Kuća na osami” - knjiga o duši

Andrićeva “Kuća na osami” - knjiga o duši

Author(s): Jelena Ratkov Kvočka / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 2/2018

Andrić's creative soul in the timeless present, opens wide like the doors and windows on a house on the steep Alifakovac in Sarajevo, all the way to the deepest well in the soul, to the soul's endlessness, so that it could accept all of those who would like to enter the story and to point to the bright and pristine ”heavenly” moments of the soul, and even more to the dark ones, sinful and shameful, horrifying and tragic, now and forever intervowen into the Mann's “festivity of the story”. These stories by Andrić are but walking shadows and states of the soul. Searching for and recognizing the irrational moves of the soul and its timeless forms, the genuine stories of this The House on Its Own are the depths and the essence, or as Mann put it: ”the blessing of the sky above and of the depths below”. One of the last books by Andrić, consisting of interconnected short stories, deconstructs the narrator's creative technique and reinterprets the author's idea from the essay Of stories and story telling – that literary discourse is equal to historical truth. Both history and fiction are but means of telling stories about the central, eternal and timeless – about the human soul.

Andrićeva priča

Author(s): Dejan Đuričković / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 19/2003

Author(s): Zvonko Kovač / Language(s): Croatian / Issue: 41/2011

Odnosno u kaosu i rasulu rata, u kome će neostvareni snovi o Americi ili smisao gradnje trajne građevine, poput višegradskoga mosta, ostati jedinim zalogom “božje ljubavi”.

Andrićevstvo između književnosti i istorije

Author(s): Šerbo Rastoder / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 74-75/2016

Author(s): Rusmir Mahmutćehajić / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 61-62/2013

Umjetnost Andrićevog pripovijedanja je odavno postala zastor kojim majstori konstruiranja historija i brisanja zločina nad muslimanima nastoje osigurati svoju nevidljivost i zaštićenost.

ANDRIĆISM: An Aesthetics for Genocide

Author(s): Rusmir Mahmutćehajić / Language(s): English / Issue: 04/2013

Andrić’s fiction is closely identified with Bosnia and often taken for a faithful reflection of that country’s culture, social relations, and tragic history. Rather than reflecting Bosnian pluralism, however, his oeuvre undermines its very metaphysical underpinnings, in part because his works are so firmly rooted in the European experience of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. From the perspective of a dominant modernity, certain cultures and peoples came to be presented as un-European, Oriental, and essentially foreign. Bosnia, which had always been a religiously plural society, now became one where ideological models excluded its Muslim inhabitants. In line with longstanding European practice, Andrić drew an image of the Bosnian Muslim as Turk and the Turk as Bosnian Muslim, converting the real content of Bosnian society into a plastic material for the ideologues of homogenous societies to use in modelling external and internal enemies that were essentially identical. This process required as its precondition the destruction of that enemy through a process described as the social and cultural liberation of the Christian subject. Over time, this exclusion took on forms now termed genocide. In creating this image, Andrić deployed narrative techniques whose function may fairly be characterized as the aesthetic dissimulation of our ethical responsibilities towards the other and the different. Such elements from his oeuvre have been used in the nationalist ideologies anti-Muslimism serves as a building block. In this paper, certain aspects of the ideological reading and interpretation of Andrić’s oeuvre are presented.

Angloameričko prisustvo u djelu Midhata Begića

Angloameričko prisustvo u djelu Midhata Begića

Author(s): Zvonimir Radeljković / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 42/2012

Anticipativna poetika tajnog spisa: O književnim vrednotama i novovjekovnoj etici Bašeskijina nekrologija

Anticipativna poetika tajnog spisa: O književnim vrednotama i novovjekovnoj etici Bašeskijina nekrologija

Author(s): Vedad Spahić / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 4/2018

In some of the canonical prose texts in Bosniak literature, such as “Tvrđava” by Meša Selimović, ”Hodža Strah” by Derviš Sušić, “Sarajevski nekrologij” by Alija Nametak and “Šehid” ba Zilhad Ključanin, addressing new historical enthusiasm, the form of necrology appears as an appropriate expressive form of legitimising identity continuities (which have been strongly disputed). In criticism, this form has rightfully marked as a cultural memory act (genre quotation) of metatextual actualisation of MulaMustafa Bašeskija’s “Ljetopis”. His chronicles represent a classic secret writing, even for the author himself a highly compromettant and exclusively targeting the generations to come. The witness-writer position based on that, relieved Bašeskija from the obligatory outreach to general places and conventional figures which were legitimised by the then authors through their writing skills. The anticipatory character and comfort of the free thought within a secret writing reached, as per certain elements, the intimacy with what is marked in European tradition as Bacon’s Revolution, which assumes resistance to hierarchy in which the life of the warrior or the ruler is focused on the ethics of honour or glory, was incomparable with the lives of “lower class” people and the ethics of dignity.

ANTONIMI U UHODAMA DERVIŠA SUŠIĆA

ANTONIMI U UHODAMA DERVIŠA SUŠIĆA

Author(s): Alen Kalajdžija / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 1/2012

The paper treats the problem of antonyms, based on material from the collection Uhode by Derviš Sušić. The paper aims to explain not only the function of antonymy in the collection, but also to offer a special view and select particular categories of antonymy. Our research shows that antonymy as a purely lexicologicaly-semantic phenomenon has specific repercussions in the content level of the text and message of the work of art. It is explained by numerous semantic incoincidences, presuppositions and confrontations of the content, in some lexemes as well as sentenial and discourse constructions. Acontribution to lexicology is reflcted in given examples from literary text of Bosnian authors, that show practical and very useful indicators of functioning of antonymy. Also, there is a special problem of separating contextual antonyms, which, as well as some other lexicology phenomena, shows general linguistic legalities based on polysemy of linguistic structure of lexemes and other units of the linguistic system, and as such they function in a contextual syntagmatic connection.

Antropologija dijamanta

Author(s): Matija Bošnjak / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 3-4/2019

Arhaizmi i neologizmi u Kamenom spavaču – leksikografski pristup

Author(s): Alen Kalajdžija / Language(s): Bosnian / Publication Year: 0

The paper pays special attention to analyzing lexis that belongs to a group of neologisms and archaisms. Based on the conducted analysis we can conclude that it is a case of a particular sort of which is archaic by its origin, but thanks to Dizdar’s innovative linguistic procedures also neologic, so we can perceive them as neologic archaisms, that is „neoarchaisms“. According to the paper, there is a classification of the analyzed lexis by various criteria that can relate to inner linguistic levels, but also some extralinguistic conditions.

ARHETIPSKI BOL ŽENE NASUPROT MUŠKOG SHVATANJA HEROIZMA

ARHETIPSKI BOL ŽENE NASUPROT MUŠKOG SHVATANJA HEROIZMA

Author(s): Ružica Jovanović / Language(s): Serbian / Issue: 2/2012

Skender Kulenović, by creating the poem Stojanka majka Knežopoljka,in fact created a poem about eternal sorrow and at the same time a specific alogism of life and death. If heroism was, since the ancient times, understood as devotion to an idea and sacrificing for it, the question arises whether the sorrow of woman in turmoil of war loses or wins a battle according to understanding of heroism. If it wins it, is it due to the fact that the woman is carrier of regeneration or the pain of woman is stronger than heroism in quantitative sense of the word, as being beyond comparison. The elements of tužbalica together with anacreontic segments dealing with day-to-day man’s existence together in a poem constitute an exquisite apotheosis to life and the woman as a regenerator of same. It is these elements, recognizable since the earliest traces of literary creation, that put S. Kulenović among timeless writers, beyond any classification.

Ars Amatoria

Ars Amatoria

Author(s): Mato Nedić / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 1/2019

Oduvijek sam volio pripovijedati. Pripovijedajući drugima prenosimo obavijesti o životu i događajima, u njima stvaramo sliku onoga što im želimo priopćiti. Ako smo dobri pripovjedači, znamo pridobiti slušatelja, zainteresirati ga za sadržaje koje iznosimo, znamo zadržati njegovu pozornost. U usmenome pripovijedanju važnu ulogu pritom imaju i naše oči kojima privlačimo pogled druge osobe. Bitan je i izraz lica, a nisu nevažni ni pokreti ruku i tijela. Dobar govornik vješto naglašava riječi i pojedine dijelove rečenica. O čemu god on govorio, ako to čini na pravi način, slušatelji će imati dojam da govori o nečemu važnom. [...]

Artizam smrti kroz simbiozu estetike i svetosti u Kamenom spavaču Maka Dizdara

Author(s): Rašid Durić / Language(s): Bosnian / Publication Year: 0

ARZUHAL HADŽI JUSUFA LlVNJAKA - BUNT PROTIV KORUPCIJE U PRAVOSUDNOM SISTEMU BOSANSKOG EJALETA

Author(s): Velida Mataradžija / Language(s): Bosnian / Issue: 2/2016

Arzuhals, appeals to the authorities, belong to the special genre of the Bosnian Alhamiado literature. They represent precious historical testimonies on socio-political issues in Bosnia under the Ottoman rule. The first poem of our Alhamiado literature, which has been found on the Bosnian Eyalet territory up to now, is Hajji Jusuf Livnjak’s arzuhal dating from 1618/1619. This paper considers the conditions within the Ottoman judicial system at the beginning of the 17th century and presents the arzuhal, its transliteration, transcription and Bosnian translation of the verses written in Ottoman Turkish. Since the protocol of the Kadi of Imotski has not been preserved, we do not know if the authorities complied with this arzuhal, but the author’s effort to stand against injustice is praiseworthy.
