COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATOR AND FOREIGN STUDENT IN INTERCULTURAL CLASSROOM

Author(s): Anna Kazakantoni / Language(s): English Publication Year: 0

In Greece, the composition of student population is linguistically and culturally diverse. For this reason, the Greek educational system faces many difficulties in the integration and education of these students. It is worth noting the noticeable change in the composition of students and the conversion of mono-cultural classes into multiculturalism, which has brought about administrative and institutional changes on the part of the state department, in order to keep the educational process in line with the new data. In the context of intercultural education, intercultural communication is a complex procedure. This term includes the communication between individuals or groups of different linguistic, social, cultural, ethnic, religious and educational background. It focuses on social attributes, thought patterns, and the cultures of different groups of people and also involves understanding the different cultures, languages and customs of people from other countries. Specifically, the aim of this study was to investigate the interactive relationships between educators and foreign students, the quality of their communication and interaction with each other, and any problems that make it difficult and ineffective.

JEAN-PHILIPPE RAMEAU: SCIENTIFIC THINKER AND WELL-ROUNDED MUSICIAN

Author(s): Rossella Marisi / Language(s): English Publication Year: 0

Jean-Philippe Rameau is today best known for his endeavours as a composer for the harpsichord, but in eighteenth-century France he was considered a real genius, due to the variety of his interests in acoustics, music theory, music pedagogy, and his success as a composer of diverse music genres. This study aims to highlight the connections between some works he authored over a fifteen-year period: on the one hand, Rameau’s treatises expressing his scientific thought, such as Traité, Nouveau système, and Génération harmonique, and, on the other, his musical works reflecting his music aesthetics, such as the Piéces de clavecin and the opera Castor et Pollux.

THE EXTRAORDINARY ABILITIES OF GIFTED CHILDREN. Genius, talent, creative skills

THE EXTRAORDINARY ABILITIES OF GIFTED CHILDREN. Genius, talent, creative skills

Author(s): Liliana Georgiana Tănase,Rodica Dascălu / Language(s): English Publication Year: 0

The present paper aims to familiarize with notions and concepts that belong to the phenomenon of giftedness. It deals with the complex phenomenon of giftedness, delimiting its content and scope, will be presented characteristics, theories, principles, models, forms of giftedness. A distinction must be made between genius, talent, creativity, giftedness and 'Olympians' Genius (a term little used nowadays), defined by creativity and exceptional ('epoch-making') performance in any field of scientific or artisticlife. Talent is the expression of outstanding aptitudes, psycho-sensory and/or motor qualities and abilities, trained and manifested in various fields (scientific, artistic, social, sporting, etc.); Genius is "the highest stage of human spiritual endowment, characterised by a creative activity whose results are of great significance; the person who has such an endowment". However, as this explanation does not indicate the subversive implications of the idea of genius we turn our gaze, of course, to the great philosophers of the world who have theorized and explained the problem. Advanced learning for gifted children means acquiring information from different areas. They often follow their primary interest with a zeal not found in other children their age. The result is an outstanding academic achievement and a remarkable fund of information. The conclusion is also that such children need special learning conditions.

FACTORI CE DETERMINĂ EFICIENȚA ÎN PERFORMANȚA UNUI ACTOR PROFESIONIST

Author(s): Gianina Eliza Burghelea / Language(s): Romanian Publication Year: 0

The theatrical art, elaborated in a special way, has brought a very significant and rich psychological experience that was assembled in the pedagogy of the acting formation, in the memories and mentions of the theater people. All the emotions and emotional expressions that refer to the actor's art are reflected from a psychological point of view, with the terms that refer to the actions that highlight the self-knowledge and the mastery of the soul’s moods. The actor, like the conscious ego, identifies with his characters insofar as he adheres to them both emotionally and mentally, but at the same time "observes", that he is "someone different" from them; he is the eyewitness of what is happening at that moment. ARHETIPUL CREATORULUI

ARHETIPUL CREATORULUI

Author(s): Elena Negoiţă / Language(s): Romanian Publication Year: 0

In his theory, Howard Gardner states the fact that humans possess a mosaic of intelligence. In the organization of every human being’s personality, the verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, naturalistic, musical-rhythmic, corporal-kinesthetic, visual-spatial, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligences build a combinatorial structure in varying proportions. Conditioned by the genetic material inherited from their ancestors, gifted with a mixture of intelligences, blessed with certain talents and modeled by the sociocultural environment in which they live, every human has the possibility to demonstrate their skills to others. Although the social environment has been unfavorable to them, their actions have not been fully understood by their contemporaries, even though critics judged them by the patterns of those times, and the mentalities of simple individuals were refractory to innovation, and yet the talents of the creative people were remarkably valued. Despite the obstacles posed by the envious, against material deprivation and health problems, those who subscribe to the archetype of the Creator managed to become famous, as they believed in their inner strength, they persevered in work, and they submitted to a way of live which was characterized by rigorous discipline, absolutely necessary for their personal mastery and mission. Chico Xavier, Gustav Klimt, Coco Chanel, Constantin Brâncuși excelled, as they exercised their many intelligences and they followed their dreams, their ideals and the thread of Ariadne, who took them out of the labyrinth of anonymity. Despite the financial shortcomings they went through, the familial and sentimental problems, the creativity and talents of the artists came out victorious, right into the center light, making our world more beautiful.

За наследяването и промените на градските пространства в София през Средните векове и Османския период

За наследяването и промените на градските пространства в София през Средните векове и Османския период

Author(s): Snezhana Goryanova / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The paper traces the imprint in the archaeological monuments and in the written sources of three phenomena emblematic of the city of Sofia in its almost 20-century history. First are the mineral springs, which are one of the main reasons for the formation of the settlement in this place. The close proximity of the Vitosha mountain, which is a major resource center – of water, timber, fruit, a place to walk and relax – also contributes to a good living environment. The strength and stability of the Christian tradition is evidenced by the church dedicated to God’s wisdom built in Late Antiquity and which has survived to this day – the domed basilica “Saint Sophia”, which also gave the current name of the present-day Bulgarian capital.

Няколко бележки за пловдивските църкви в Османския период

Няколко бележки за пловдивските църкви в Османския период

Author(s): Dimo Cheshmedzhiev / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The issue of Plovdiv churches during the Ottoman period is very interesting and a debatable one in historiography. The article draws attention to the identification of the church “St. Paraskeva/Petka”, around which there are the most problems. In order to identify this very important church in Plovdiv during the Ottoman period, the reports of various European travelers who passed through Plovdiv (in ottoman “Filibe”) are mainly used. These are the only sources, inasmuch as domestic sources, both Bulgarian and Greek, are missing. Some revival legends are also being investigated, according to which the location of the church “St. Paraskeva/Petka” is under the Dzhumaya mosque in Plovdiv. The issue of the presence of a church building under the Dzhumaya mosque (XV century) is considered. The improvisations on the topic of “turning a mosque into a church” and building mosques according to the plan of a church (sic!) are categorically refuted, as well as the ideas of embedding Christ's monograms (chrisms) on the walls of the mosque. Information obtained during the last major renovation of the mosque, when archaeological research was also carried out, is used. Opinions are expressed that the legends about the conversion of the eventual church “St. Paraskeva/Petka” in a mosque arise based on the name of Dzhumaya mosque – “Friday” mosque.

Рекламата на стоки и услуги в Пловдив в годините след Освобождението

Author(s): Borislava Petkova / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The text focuses on the advertising materials printed in the post-liberation press of Plovdiv, bringing out the connection with the advertisements from the revival press in an attempt to trace the changes and trends in the formation of advertising messages and the identification of some specific groups of customers. The advertisements published in the “Plovdiv” newspaper, published in the period 1886 – 1907, were analyzed, divided into two large groups: advertisements of goods and advertisements of services. Some features of the function of advertising among the Plovdiv population are brought out, as well as the forms of construction of advertising materials and messages, characteristic of the post-liberation press. An attempt has also been made to reconstruct the mosaic picture of the world of Plovdiv residents from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, assembled from individual newspaper materials advertising goods and services.

Нематериално културно наследство: (тяло) маска и пространство

Нематериално културно наследство: (тяло) маска и пространство

Author(s): Georgi Ivanov / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The text examines the changes caused by the pandemic of intangible cultural heritage through four prisms: the body, the past (which is inherited), the mask and the space. Their variable parameters explicated by the pandemic, their theoretical and practical phenomenology are examined. Through them, three spheres of the intangible cultural heritage are considered: creating a song, dance (horo), singing in a choir and an ensemble. Based on them, theoretical reflections are carried out, reaching the conclusion that the body becomes an image of itself (recorded, watched and listened to), being isolated and displaced in the newly created pandemic culture. From this: the “body” placed in this process “grafts” the psychic into the new culture. This makes everyday life dramatic and tragic, because every day is formally a collision if the body does not have the necessary “attributes”. This - the article muses, using different analytical angles to look at these “rubbing against each other” phenomena - leads to the unconscious desire to disembody or (re)turn the body into a desired image from the past(s).

Градските наративи като елемент на нематериално културно наследство

Градските наративи като елемент на нематериално културно наследство

Author(s): Vasil Karadzhov / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The text provides a brief overview of the system of rules, laws, documents and institutions related to intangible cultural heritage in Bulgaria, looking for the place of oral traditions and forms of expression in them. Unlike traditional storytelling, which has a major role in folklore, modern ways of expression, carried out in an urban environment, hardly present their representative samples as elements of cultural heritage. The aim of the paper is to propose narratives as contemporary forms of storytelling in cities, to present their role in the cultural expression of urban communities and their participation in the formation of urban identity and cultural diversity. The recognition of urban narratives as a possible element of intangible cultural heritage will draw attention to their importance in the preservation and transmission of urban memory and traditions to the next generations.

Новите градски занаяти

Новите градски занаяти

Author(s): Elitsa Stoilova / Language(s): Bulgarian Publication Year: 0

The research aims to understand the specifics of craft beer in the context of urban craft. In the last decade, the production and consumption of the so-called “craft beers” are gaining popularity in Bulgaria. This new phenomenon is also associated with the imposition of a specific culture of consumption and production ethics, which are defined as craft beer culture. This emerging culture of production and consumption is characterized by the imposition of a new business model that is based on shared knowledge, close relationships between brewers, mutual sharing of experience and often joint projects. Another specificity is the development of market relationships, in which consumer-user relationships are shortened and become more and more immediate. The industry is based on traditional knowledge and innovation, as well as close producer-consumer relationships. The paper will trace the development of craft beer culture in Bulgaria.
