In this article are considered the essence and the role of shaping and constructing as methods for investigating work in the education in mathematics by preschool children. The investigating constructor’s approach in the mathematical education of the children is based on independent work for “building-constructing” of the models of mathematical ideas and relations. In the process of constructing of the models the children discover, realize and consolidate basic skills and relations of the mathematical ideas.
