School as a public institution plays a great role in shaping young people‘s personality, therefore it is important the best conditions for successful education and nurture to be created for all pupils no matter their individual characteristics. This scientific research aims to focus the attention towards a particular group of pupils, whose abilities and behavior are specific due to autistic spectrum disorder. The article suggests solutions these pupils to be included into the school system as well as for their successful education and therapy via application of drama-based methods and techniques. Different approaches for intervention through drama games and exercises, which can improve their communication skills, motivate them for active participation and support their social and emotional development are presented.

This article aims to give an overview of the problems of the applicability and reliability of the different methods and stages of the selection processes and procedures used in the European institutions. For this purpose, a total of 90 interviews were conducted in 2011, primarily within three Dgs within the Commission (Dg Environment, Dg Regional Policy, and Dg Internal Market and Services), as well as within Dg Personnel and Administration and EPSO. The main aspects which were observed were the background and the purposes of the competitions as well as their respective results.

The psychoanalysis is rich in theories and gives opportunities for deep analysis of the psychic phenomena. Through this perspective the human functioning is seen in its multi-layer and integral dynamics. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is based on psychoanalysis as an explanatory model and can be applied successfully in institutional practice. The psychotherapeutic work is an important part of the overall procedure for patients with liver and renal transplantation performed at University Hospital “Lozenets”. It is conducted on an outpatient basis in a strictly regulated framework of the visits. There are certain features for this group of patients such as: predominance of archaic conflicts over long periods of time in individuals with neurotic personality organization, prolonged oedipal conflicts, blocked symbolic abilities, etc.

The main components of the theoretical model of psychological readiness for professional activity are considered. Possibilities of its formation among university students are discussed. The content of the model of psychological readiness of students for professional activity and its structure are investigated. The empirical research of the model under study is performed. The results of this research are provided. The method of formation of psychological readiness for professional activity is described by the example of psychology students. The offered method is based on the activation of self-processes in students as the subjects of professional activity and correlates with the competence-based approach aimed to integrate theoretical knowledge and the ability to use it in practice.

Introduction. The article is devoted to the problem of developing psychological media competence. The purpose of the research is to clarify the main content and structure of parents’ psychological media competence. Materials and Methods. The research methodology is based on the ideas of Russian psychologists about the role of the environment in the development of a child, in particular, on L.S. Vygotsky’s cultural- historical approach, which determines the environment as a source of children’s mental development. The main methods of this research are theoretical methods aimed at theoretical generalizations, identifying the nature and content of the phenomena under study. Results. The article defines the concept of “psychological media competence of a parent”. The authors clarify its role within the parental competence, taking into account the media-transformation of children’s social and cultural developmental environments. The study reveals the following components within the main characteristics of parental psychological media competence: informative characteristics (parental value-semantic self-determination, collaborative activities, and psychological literacy), procedural characteristics (psychological media experience, attitude to the media, reflexive actions), productive characteristics (understanding the media, compliance of this understanding with media standards, and the ability to transmit the experience of understanding the media). The model of psychological media competence of a parent is presented. The authors propose and clarify the following methods of studying parents’ psychological media competence: content analysis, semantic differential technique, method of unfinished situations, and media analysis. Conclusions. The authors summarize the main content of parents’ psychological media competence, highlight the structure of this phenomenon, and demonstrate methods of its studying.

The study presents results from empirical research on the psychological characteristics of career choice in early adulthood. The research is based on the multidimensional model for occupational choice, developed by J. Chartrand, St. Robbins, W. Morril and K. Boggs, measuring career indecisiveness which consists of informational and personal-emotional factors, interacting when people decide on a career. To examine the convergent validity and the external reliability of the instrument we have used correlation analyses with John Holland’s Vocational Identity Scale, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, the Goal Instability Scale and Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. When adapting the model for Bulgarian sociocultural environment, high psychometrical indicators were registered, which gives grounds for successful use of the model by consultants in distinguishing the reasons for the indecisiveness in career choice.
