Tourism in legislation – case study European countries

Summary/Abstract: There is a general discussion about the support of tourism from the side of policy, and about necessity of a legislation covering tourism. Knowing that tourism is a multidisciplinary branch, there is a question what should be involved in the legislation. In the Czech Republic there is a problem with unsystematic tourism organization and instability of financial sources for running institutions that are responsible for destination development. This foreign experience can be inspiration for the Czech Republic. Therefore, the paper analyses tourism legislation of certain European countries that deals with the tourism issue, and suggests recommendation for the Czech Republic case.
