Summary/Abstract: We live in a dialogical world, where models – either active or latent – establish the configuration of our identity constructs and of our intellectual framework. It is hence impossible to clarify, within the limits of one colloquium, the entire spectrum of issues entailed by this complex topic, which already gathers together a myriad of interpretations under its umbrella. While excluding the mythicizing attitude on the French cultural model, we can clearly state that its spirit, along with the Greek and Roman ones, is immanent to the European and universal cultural landscape, thus contributing to the coherence of their forms. The three volumes of scientific research in the series of Identity constructions. Echoes of the French cultural model in a European and universal context are illustrative of this fact. At its first edition, this colloquium hopefully inaugurates a wonderful and long-lasting tradition. The papers presented during this event will reach the interested audience via these volumes that have benefitted in time from new contributions, which directly or indirectly reflect the impact of the driving models. Our purpose was to provide plenty of exposure space to all the contributors who were interested in this topic. This publication aims to promote an interdisciplinary approach of certain issues that are in the contact zone between linguistics and literature, and beyond, via multiple perspectives in various national, multilingual and international contexts. Structured in three volumes, Literature, Literature & cultural Studies; Linguistics & Teaching Methodology, the series aims to be a means of cultural contact, academic dialogue, open to not necessarily convergent ideas.

- Summary/Abstract:For the native French speakers who study Romanian, the similarities between the two languages can more often than not be a disadvantage, as they tend to make certain false analogieswith lexical items or grammatical structures in their mothertongue (French) and this leads to confusions and interference. The major goal of the present paper is to underline several particular aspects concerning the obstacles faced by French speaking students in the process of learning reflexive pronoun in the Romanian language, by mainly focusing on the factors favouring interferential errors. We insist, in our presentation,on the necessity for a contrastive approach in teaching the Romanian reflexive pronoun, in order to facilitate the understanding of the different linguistic phenomena in the two languages in contact and to prevent the appearance of negative transfer.

- Summary/Abstract:The subject-predicate relationship is an ongoing topic of debate,as linguists still have divergent opinions on it. According to L. Tesnier’s structuralist theory, the subject is subordinate to the predicate. In traditional grammar, some linguists have settled on the subordination of the subject, whereas others agree upon the subordinate nature of the relationship, but believe that the predicate is subordinate. A third group is inclined to see it as a subject-predicate relationship of inherence.

- Summary/Abstract:The principle of immanence, which is at the basis of Ferdinand de Saussure’s linguistic concept, focuses on the abstract description of language at the basis of rigid formalization oflinguistic structures within the oppositions of linguistic signs, but this kind of relationship can be revealed only in the staticstratified system, which is only possible in synchronicdescription of language. In contemporary epistemology, in theEuropean and American structural and classical linguistics, theGeneva school of linguistics found the development of ideas, principles, concepts representatives, which allowed theoptimization and the study of the language system language, theunits of the different strata of language structure and therelationships between them.

- Summary/Abstract:Enclitic use of the definite article is a specific feature indistinguishing grammatical systems of Balkan-Romancelanguages from Western Romance languages. The origin of thedefinite article in postposition, its evolution as well as theinternal mechanism of the language have aroused the interest ofmany linguists. Thus, the definite article postposition may bemotivated by the influence of languages, belonging to anotherlinguistic group, on Balkan languages, the influence of Geto-Dacian substratum or Latin stratum, as well as differentdevelopment ways of lingual systems. Another factor, equallyimportant, would be the influence of syntactic rules of ancientSlavic, which we intend to analyze and elucidate in this article.

- Summary/Abstract:The article deals with the syntagma. The syntagma is researchedas a syntactic and phonetic unit of linguistics and spoken widelyof its meaning in the article. Signs perform the system ofapproaches in the form of syntagmatics and paradigmatics.Syntagmatic approaches are based on distributive potentials ofsigns, their valencies, but paradigmatic approaches are based onthe selection of definite element of paradigm signs, namely forthat reason Ferdinand de Saussure considers the morphology asthe “sphere of paradigmatics”, but the syntax – the “sphere ofsyntagmatics”. But it should be noted that a notion of“verticality” and “horizontality” exists even in the row oflanguage signs of classic linguistics.

- Summary/Abstract:Under the influence of extralinguistic factors, all terminologiesare characterized by a faster rate than general vocabulary. Thecauses favoring the emergence of new legal concepts areespecially social needs and the harmonization of legislation withthe EU/international legal regulations. The emergence of newterms is unpredictable. Therefore, the legal terminology is not ina stable condition, as one might think because of hisconservatism, but a continuous process of change. Specializedlanguage used by the EU institutions can be characterized asone with its own domain, defining itself as such in the dynamicrelationship between terminology and relatively static nature ofthe referential framework of the Member States.

- Summary/Abstract:The marketing discourse is characterized by the extensive use of a specific terminology that builds upon the key concepts in the marketing field, such as brand, product, enterprise, consumer, market, etc. Given the high degree of specialization and abstractness of marketing terms, conceptual metaphor proves particularly useful in rendering them more accessible to the less or non-initiated public. Our article aims at identifying and exploring the multiple facets that the anthropomorphic conceptual metaphor an enterprise is a person presents in the textual dynamics of the marketing discourse.

This active method puts theyoung learner in the position of making choices. The trainer doesnot judge the learner on his choices, but helps him think aboutthe meaning of those choices and evaluate their pertinence on hisown. The three letters stand for the three stages of this method:E from Éveil (awakening the learner, or breaking the ice), D from Débat (debate on a given topic), and A fromApprofondissement (exploring the topic).

- Summary/Abstract:The purpose of our paper is to highlight the way in which, overtime, we changed the perspective towards the notion of error in the learning of a foreign language. Nowadays, the error is an invalidated hypothesis which the learner formulates and whose result testifies, most of the time, the creativity of the learner.
