Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the use of the multiple intelligences’ theory and its practical applications’ possibilities in teaching pre-school children with special educational needs, particularly with autism spectrum disorder and Asperger syndrome. The introduction of the theoretical information on this subject allows us to create the widened perspective of educational challenges. The intention of the presented study was to diagnose how the application of Howard Gardner’s theory in the context of the preschool special education affects the learning–teaching process of the foreign language. The main object of the examination was the attitude of children towards English classes and the frequency of critical moments.
