Summary/Abstract: The 15th student scientific conference (AWHP), organized by the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, brought not only a range of practical insights and conclusions from academic, professional, and students‘ works, but also an opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange. Cooperation between the basic and other components of the integrated rescue system and the academic sphere is a key to development, not only in the field of civil protection. This AWHP conference is a proof of such successful cooperation, the results of which are subsequently reflected in practice.
