Short Description

The Drugs & Forensics Bulletin of the National Drug Headquarters is a peer-reviewed professional journal published by the National Drug Headquarters of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service of the Police of the Czech Republic. Since its inception in 1995, the Bulletin has served as a specialized platform for disseminating the latest developments in criminology, forensic sciences, toxicology, addictology, and psychopharmacology. Published quarterly, it features both peer-reviewed scholarly articles and popular science contributions that align with the journal’s focus on drug-related issues. Since 2016, the Bulletin has been recognized as a peer-reviewed journal.

The Bulletin aims to bridge the information gap in the field of drug crime by informing professionals about the latest trends, investigative techniques, and legislative updates. It plays a crucial role in unifying police procedures for detecting and combating illicit production, trafficking, and distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances. By publishing analyses of significant closed cases from both the Czech Republic and abroad, the journal offers valuable lessons and best practices for law enforcement and judicial authorities. With a dedicated readership of police officers, prosecutors, judges, educators, and prevention specialists, the Drugs & Forensics Bulletin continues to be an essential source of expertise, fostering professional excellence in the ongoing fight against drug-related crime.
