Summary/Abstract: Synthetic opioids and analgesics are an important element in human and veterinary medicine. The dark side of these preparations is abusive and toxicomania, with significant adverse health and socio-economic effects on the individual and society as a whole. Illegal darknet marketplaces has long been a source of massive quantities of addictive substances, including very dangerous forms of synthetic opioids. The toxicomaniacal popularity of synthetic opioids and the analgesics bromodal, xylazine and fentanyl, including the very dangerous phenomenon of mixing them together, is becoming apparent. The resulting combinations are a synergistic mix that carries the risk of serious health consequences and fatal intoxication. A practical survey of darknet marketplaces proves the authors' hypothesis of their easy availability and user popularity.
