Summary/Abstract: Burial practices were part of the religious beliefs of people in ancient times. Along with religious beliefs, the Romans brought their buried practices. They merge with those of the local population. Information about them is obtained from the studied necropolises around the Abritus fortress (Razgrad). The deceased were buried with graves, tombs and burial mounds, with grave goods. Tombstones with inscriptions in Latin were also placed.
