Summary/Abstract: Research skills are the basis for the formation of a naturalistic worldview not only of specialists in natural sciences, but also a significant part of knowledge regarding the provision of personal life activities, orientation in the surrounding world, professional knowledge of the future profession. Educational institutions of various levels provide knowledge that allows a person to navigate in the environment - natural or naturalistic knowledge. Such knowledge creates a foundation for the future formation of a conscious perception of oneself as a part of nature and the world and allows one to understand the strategy of sustainable development - the most important global theory for all mankind. It is impossible to reduce the risks of destruction of civilized life due to the threats that arise in the modern world within the borders of one country, but trying to form a conscious attitude to one’s future through an understanding of the future of all humanity must be started in each country separately. The formation of a naturalistic worldview of the future citizen depends on the future teachers of biology and natural sciences. The naturalistic worldview determines that a person is able to consciously learn the laws of physical, biological and social nature and harmonize his life with them. The training of future specialists takes into account the ability to master the basic knowledge of natural sciences to explain the structure, chemical processes, function, vital activity, reproduction, classification, origin, practical use of living organisms and systems of all levels of organization, patterns of distribution of living organisms and their groups in space and time, practical application of health-centered natural knowledge, theoretical and applied principles of pedagogical support of safe life activities. Analyzing the results of the interaction of biological systems at different levels of the organization, their constituent elements and groupings, realizing the role of biodiversity in the functioning of ecosystems, rational use of nature, the impact of environmental factors on human health will provide research skills and abilities. Relying on research skills, future specialists in natural sciences are able to demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge for the formation of the noospheric consciousness of the future generation. The study of a person’s ability to naturalistic observation of the surrounding world provides an opportunity for personal self-development of a person to form a noospheric worldview, which is an important component of the strategy of sustainable development of mankind.
