Summary/Abstract: The use of information technology allows the formation of new educational models that allow you to stay in the zone of scientific and technological progress, significantly enrich and diversify the teaching of various disciplines. In connection with the rapid development of IT and their active use as distance learning technologies, there is an opportunity to apply the whole apparatus of computer technology in learning through the construction of individual learning paths, which provides an individualized approach to learning, which expands the didactic capabilities of computers, teaching tools; allows you to match the content, forms and methods of learning in accordance with educational needs. This allows the automatic adjustment of the coefficients of distance learning technologies to take into account the dynamics of changes in the learning trajectory; to focus learning material on different types and levels of assimilation; take into account the psychological, personal qualities and competencies of students. Distance learning technologies are educational technologies, implemented mainly with the use of information technology, with the mediated interaction between a student and a teacher in order to provide access to quality education. The article investigates effective types of distance learning technologies; the main features of distance learning are highlighted; an express analysis of digital educational resources and services for the organization of distance learning, the definition of elearning experience in the era of postmodernism is made. The relevance of the research topic in the international context of similar studies in this field lies in the fact that in the period of computerization of education and forced distance, for successful and effective professional activity, the teacher must use all the possibilities of distance learning.
