Summary/Abstract: The article examines the issue of professional training of future physical culture and sports specialists. Taking into account the content of medical and biological disciplines (biochemistry of sports activities), attention is focused on issues related to the restoration of the body's reserves due to physical activity. Focused attention on the causes of negative dynamics in the health of the population. The role of sports trainers and specialists in physical education and sports has been determined in order to improve the situation in increasing motivation to engage in movement activities, both health-related and sports-oriented. The significance of the importance of training future specialists in the field of physical culture and sports for the ability to perform professional tasks, namely ensuring optimal training with the use of recovery tools, is revealed. Means of restoring sports performance are a significant and mandatory component of the training process, which allows to achieve optimality and efficiency of physical exertion, to introduce positive emotions to training. The place and role of medico-biological knowledge, which are components of the educational content of future physical education and sports specialists and provide an opportunity for the formation of a scientifically based approach to understanding the importance of restoring physical performance and overcoming fatigue after exertion, is revealed. The study analyzed theoretical information about medical and biological means of recovery in sports, their classification, as well as features of the use of some alternative means of recovery. The possibility of an experimental component of the academic discipline biochemistry of sports activity during the study of means of recovery in sports is analyzed. It was determined that the planning of training and competition loads is an important component of the professional training of coaches and physical culture specialists, but without knowledge about the recovery of spent energy, physical and nervous resources, the educational content will be inferior. On the basis of the experimental research conducted as part of the training sessions, the results of the student questionnaire regarding alternative means of recovery were analyzed and the motivation for research activity and for mastering the knowledge of medical and biological disciplines was increased.
