Východiská a perspektívy katalogizácie cyrilských rukopisných pamiatok na Slovensku
Basis and Perspectives of Cataloguing of Cyrillic Manuscript Heritage in Slovakia

Summary/Abstract: The paper describes the current state of documentation of Cyrillic manuscripts in Slovak archives and museums. It points to the inevitable need for their systematic description from the formal and content point of view, which will enable, in particular, a deeper understanding of the processes of inter-confessional communication in the Slovak as well as in the wider Slavic and European context. Such documentary research is a challenging topic, which is, however, only partially supported by a project in the Slovak academic environment, but only teamwork is most important to achieve the result, and such a team is mainly composed of individuals not only professionally prepared, but also personally interested in finding common solutions.
