Summary/Abstract: Greek Catholic Church and its clergy by turn 18th and 19th centuries was conscious of their status, oscillating between influences of east and west church and ritual tradition and culture. The authors of this paper aspire to refer to literary treatment of inter ritual friction between believers of east and west ritual.
