Pogledi u procese standardizacije u crnogorskome jeziku

Pogledi u procese standardizacije u crnogorskome jeziku

Author(s): Dubravko Jakić / Language(s): Bosnian,Croatian Issue: 12/2015

Author(s): Elvir Bajraktarević / Language(s): Bosnian Issue: 12/2015

Author(s): Gabriela Banović / Language(s): Croatian Issue: 12/2015

Netspeak: Linguistic Properties and Aspects of Online Communication in Postponed Time

Netspeak: Linguistic Properties and Aspects of Online Communication in Postponed Time

Author(s): Sanel Hadžiahmetović Jurida,Alma Jahić,Jasmina Hanić,Mirza Džanić,Tanja Pavlović / Language(s): English Issue: 12/2015

Considering that synchronicity is one of the dimensions upon which electronic communication can be categorised, the present paper examines the linguistic properties and distinctive features of online communication in postponed time, in the context of English as a global language, and Netspeak as a new electronic medium of communication. The paper looks at the ways in which the nature of the electronic medium and the global use of the Internet are having an impact on the English language. This corpus-based study, for which data were collected from several Internet sites, places particular focus on the characteristics of English used in asynchronous settings such as various discussion forums. The analysis, based on Crystal’s model (2001), portrays a number of highly distinctive features of Netspeak, proving that the language of communication in postponed time is heavily affected in terms of graphology (emoticons, punctuation) and the lexicon (blending, compounding), with areas where it is relatively easy to introduce both innovation (nonce formation and other ludic Netspeak extensions) and deviation (abbreviations, acronyms).

Shakespeare's Legacy: Reconsidering Shylock's Portrayal in The Merchant of Venice

Shakespeare's Legacy: Reconsidering Shylock's Portrayal in The Merchant of Venice

Author(s): Demir Alihodžić / Language(s): English Issue: 12/2015

Since the Middle Ages there has always been a continuous interest in the Jewish tribe in English literature. Apart from William Shakespeare, other great writers such as Geoffrey Chaucer, Christopher Marlowe, CharlesDickens, George Eliot, and James Joyce have all created Jewish characters with varying degrees of prejudice. Yet for more than four centuries, Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice with its compellingly effective representation of its title Jew, Shylock, has remained the most controversial one among all the works dealing with the Christian-Jewish antagonism. A sa result the question of anti-Semitism has always been the popular concern for critics ever since. This will also be the very problem to which this paper intends to give a plausible answer. For centuries, The Merchant of Venice has delighted and confounded its readers. Pouring himself into the life and deeds of both the Jewish and Christian characters, Shakespeare has provoked various interpretations of his work. To begin with, the uncomplimentary depictions of Jews in The Merchant of Venice have fed the anti-Semitic prejudices of writers like T.S. Eliot, D.H. Lawrence, or Ezra Pound. Less controversial critics, however, have sensed in this work paradoxical portrayals of the “imperfect” Christian characters and “villainous” Jews. This discovery may indeed lead us to meditate upon the real intentions of William Shakespeare.

Stigma i psihoterapija

Stigma i psihoterapija

Author(s): Mitra Mirković-Hajdukov / Language(s): Bosnian,Croatian,Serbian Issue: 12/2015

Poslije Drugog svjetskog rata, psihoterapija u našoj sredini počinje se snažno razvijati, a sedamdesetih godina XX. stoljeća počinje i primjena drugih vidova psihoterapije, grupne psihoanalitičke psihoterapije, bihejvioralno-kognitivne psihoterapije, partnerske i porodične psihoterapije, geštalt terapije, transakcione analize, psihoterapije djece i mladih, integrativne psihoterapije, seksualne psihoterapije i dr.

Socijalna kohezija i socijalni kapital

Socijalna kohezija i socijalni kapital

Author(s): Fehrat Hrustić / Language(s): Bosnian Issue: 12/2015

Social cohesion and social capital combine into one box economics, political science, sociology and developmental theories. These are very important issues for the determination of the state in society and finding mechanisms and tools to improve the social status in order to minimize disempowerment individuals and groups, and avoiding certain tensions and conflicts. This may contribute to the strengthening of harmony in human relations on the principles of trust and mutual responsibility, a better balance between man and nature, more equal distribution of national wealth, equal access to knowledge and modern technology to all individuals and groups. Otherwise, there is no inclusion, freedom, justice, solidarity and other ethical and human values, which are pillars of social cohesion and social capital. That is why we advocate the consistent application documents of the Council of Europe, with special emphasis on the revised strategy of social cohesion in all countries, especially countries with strong conflict situations which include Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mapiranje kategorije roda u razvoju preduzetništva

Mapiranje kategorije roda u razvoju preduzetništva

Author(s): Mirjana Popović / Language(s): Bosnian,Croatian Issue: 11/2014

The process of learning and searching for the answers about the main part of some social situation at the epistemological and methodological level, becomes more complicated for another aspect. It means that gender and fertility can be considered as a new paradigm in addition to this fundamental one consisting of class and race. If the socialist society defined itself (through an ideology) as a society of the equality, it means that it was completely unnatural that in that kind of relationship, women collectively expressed their dissatisfaction. We can say that one montenegrin woman is: obedient, altruist, faithful, diligent, patient, inert and that all of these qualities make her’ female nature’. Woman in Montenegro has been successfuly prepared for her role in the private sphere only, because values that are included in her genderhabitus are not functional in the public sphere.

Razvoj ideje turističke valorizacije kanjona Drežanka

Razvoj ideje turističke valorizacije kanjona Drežanka

Author(s): Snježana Musa / Language(s): Bosnian,Croatian Issue: 11/2014
