Doktryna Polaków. Klasyczna filozofia polityczna w dyskursie potocznym

Author(s): Zbigniew Rau,Katarzyna M. Staszyńska,Maciej Chmieliński,Krzysztof Zagórski / Language(s): Polish

Książka prezentuje pionierską, oryginalną rekonstrukcję doktryny politycznej zbiorowego podmiotu, jakim jest społeczeństwo polskie. Stanowi ona rezultat połączenia warsztatów naukowych klasycznej filozofii politycznej i współczesnej empirycznej socjologii. Oddaje poglądy i refleksje dotyczące człowieka, społeczeństwa, własności, władzy i państwa, jakie Polacy ujawniają w szeroko zakrojonych fokusowych badaniach jakościowych i w ankietowych badaniach ilościowych. Obraz przekonań, jaki się z nich wyłania, ma charakter pluralistyczny, a jednocześnie odzwierciedla silne dążenie do harmonii w postrzeganiu, porządkowaniu i przeżywaniu świata zjawisk społecznych i politycznych. Łączy w sobie głęboko zakorzenione przesłanki konserwatywne, republikańskie, właściwe katolickiej nauce społecznej, z rozwiązaniami typowymi dla klasycznego liberalizmu i demokratycznego socjalizmu.

POSTRENESANS ROSYJSKI. Kierunki i perspektywy rozwoju współczesnej filozofii rosyjskiej na przykładzie koncepcji W. Bibichina i S. Chorużyja

Author(s): Łukasz Leonkiewicz / Language(s): Polish

Pierwszy stworzył – i do dziś rozwija – koncepcję „antropologii synergicznej”. Drugi, konsekwentnie wracając „do źródeł”, uznał, że myślenie odzyska autentyczny kształt tylko wtedy, gdy do myśli współczesnej wróci starożytność. Łukasz Leonkiewicz – doktor filozofii, absolwent Instytutu Filozofii UW oraz Chrześcijańskiej Akademii Teologicznej w Warszawie, filozof i teolog prawosławny. Od 2010 roku wykładowca w Prawosławnym Seminarium Duchownym, nauczyciel filozofii i etyki, od 2015 roku pracownik nieetatowy Instytutu Filozofii UW, diakon w cerkwi św. Jana Klimaka w Warszawie. Autor licznych artykułów i tłumaczeń w czasopismach naukowych i popularnych, dotyczących filozofii rosyjskiej i teologii prawosławnej. Tłumacz z języka rosyjskiego Imperium peryferii B. Kagarlickiego oraz albumu Ikony rosyjskie.

Rethinking Subalternity in Central and Eastern Europe

Author(s): Francesco Trupia / Language(s): English

Subalternity is important. This study aims to philosophically investigate the notion of ‘subalternity’ with regard to a variety of minority issues in Central and Eastern Europe. Although a lot has been written about, too little has been achieved in practice. Therefore, this monograph gives a different perspective over the notion of “minority” in the attempt to reopen new and old places of confrontation that would potentially diversify scholarly trajectories of critical investigation.

Innovative Instruments for Community Development in Communication and Education

Innovative Instruments for Community Development in Communication and Education

Author(s): / Language(s): English

The multiple facets of this volume belong to five large themes. The first theme, that of persuasion and manipulation, is studied here through electoral campaigns (i.e., mental filters used in voting manipulation, the mechanisms of vote mobilisation, manipulation and storytelling models). The institutionalization of education represents the second theme, approached here through specific interdisciplinary instruments: the intersection of higher education with public learning, the answers of the knowledge society to the issues of contemporary work problems, the institutional relationships used to solve educational problems specific to childhood and adolescence, as well as the role of media competencies in professional development. The third theme is related to the inheritance and transmission of cultural identity, instrumentalized through issues such as: the duty of intergenerational justice with regard to cultural heritage, education and vocational training in library science, the social inclusion role of public and digital libraries. The collective and cultural identity of communities represents the fourth large theme, being approached through a triple perspective: the philosophical background of restoring the political dignity of communities, the communication space as a point of a needle towards the community space, and the communicational issue of the European capital of culture programmes. Lastly, the fifth theme belongs to practical and applied philosophy, specifically philosophical counselling, debating issues such as: the identification of the communicational background for this type of counselling, the secular approach to the problem of evil from a philosophical counselling perspective, the discussion of Platon’s attitude towards suicide and of frank speech in the Epicurean school, the socio-anthropological perspective of immortality, as well as the formal approach of the relationship between real and imaginary.

The End of Truth. Five Essays on The Demise of Neoliberalism

Author(s): Bülent Somay / Language(s): English

What seems to be happening throughout the last decade is the gradual invalidation and dissolution of what we used to call ‘Truth’, and hence the disruption and gradual dissolution of what Foucault had called the existing hierarchical “Regime of Truth”. What remains is not what Marx had hoped to be a more egalitarian regime in which “the educator{s themselves are also] educated”, but rather a ‘Humpty Dumpty Regime’, where ‘Truth’ is whatever the Humpty-Dumpty in power wants it to be. This book argues that this is an unmediated outcome of the profound social, cultural and economic crisis of neoliberal capitalism, and its political corollary, the meteoric rise of populism and authoritarianism, not only in the so-called ‘developing’ countries, but throughout the entire globe.

W poszukiwaniu „dobrego życia”. U filozoficznych podstaw głównych orientacji politycznego myślenia. Wyd. 2

Author(s): Wojciech Kaute / Language(s): Polish

A human being gets organized in a nation, as Aristotle says, for “a good life”. However, according to him, one has to differentiate between “a good citizen” and “good man”. The history of philosophy has created various polis conceptions as a result of the fact that a human being, in its cognition, cannot situate itself in a position of the one who knows an “objective” good, “truth”. Each cognition is just a “vision” and interpretation of the world. Thus, one has to assume that a reflection on culture equals a reconstruction of these “visions”. This is a history of ideas. Such a reconstruction is also an interpretation. The situation gets complicated in the post-world. Traditional languages lose their significance in a global world of mass culture. And that means that the status of the history of ideas, this interpretation of interpretations, gets too unclear these days.

Kožev u Podgorici - ciklus predavanja o Aleksandru Koževu

Author(s): Filip Kovačević / Language(s): Montenegrine

To je djelo 1964. Anđelko Habazin preveo za izdavačku kuću «Veselin Masleša» u Sarajevu pod naslovom Kako čitati Hegela.

Teoretičari klasične geopolitike - ciklus predavanja

Author(s): Filip Kovačević / Language(s): Montenegrine
