Ролята на баснята за възпитаване на емоционални социални компетенции

Author(s): Slawomir Krzyszka / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 3/2024

In the article I bring the issue of using fairy tales in creating emotional social skills among children. It occupies a special place in bibliotherapy on the grounds of unique effect. The fairy tales strengthen, in fantastic form, the regional views on human intercourse and show ideals of good and justice and criteria of assessing human actions. Thanks to fairy tales, they stimulate moral development and enable to adapt socially accepted patterns of behaviour. In fairy tales the life matters are shown. They try to answer the question what the world is, which rules it governs and how to cope with fears and risks.

Нагласи на студентите към войната като обществено-политическо явление

Author(s): Valery Stoyanov,Siyana Lutzkanova,Anna Karadencheva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2024

By using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research approaches, students' attitudes, emotions, and experiences of war as a socio-political phenomenon, as well as their motivations for participating in war, are revealed. Google Forms were used to collect the empirical information. Fifty-seven students responded to the questionnaire, 81% of the students to whom the form was sent. The students are from Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, from "Transport, Aviation and Shipping" and "National Security" professional specialties. The results show that students have a decidedly negative attitude towards war and reject war as a means of solving problems. For them, war is nonsense, meaningless, and unnecessary in the practice of humanity. The main problems caused by the war in social and personal terms are connected, on the one hand, to the loss of human, spiritual, economic, and natural resources, and on the other hand, to the suffering of the people from the victims, the destruction, to the experienced fear and horror of what is happening. Students would only go to war when they are forced to defend home, family, and self, but rather not in case our country is under attack. The emotions caused by the war in the students are entirely in the field of depressive symptoms, which is a signal that the war makes life meaningless, "takes away" its essence, meaning - to live in prosperity, makes life miserable, full of suffering. After all, "war" is perceived exclusively in its classical dimensions and the immediate image of it and its experience is related to the physical use of weapons, fighting, sacrifice, genocide, destruction, death, and suffering.

Договорът за обикновените въоръжени сили в Европа – подписване, адаптиране и прекратяване

Author(s): Angel Apostolov / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 2s/2024

The topic of this scientific article examines the problems that arose before the effective control of conventional armed forces in the decades after the end of the Cold War. The Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) is the keystone for the establishment of mutually acceptable restrictions on this category of armaments. Conceived as a treaty between two monolithic military-political blocs, the CFE has had to be adapted several times since the end of the Cold War and the new security environment that emerged in Europe after the collapse of the Warsaw Treaty Organization (WTO). However, the contradictions between NATO and Russia are the reason why the CFE was not able to reach its full potential. The escalation of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the deep mutual mistrust between Moscow and the Western partners led to the Russian Federation’s decision to withdraw from the CFE Treaty.

Таргетингът и културното наследство: унищожаване на културното наследство по време на конфликти

Author(s): Radoslav Chalakov / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 2s/2024

Armed conflicts affect many aspects of life. In addition to casualties from military impacts, conflicts often involve damage or destruction of cultural heritage. The significant challenges we face in the XXI century also complicate the protection of cultural heritage during military operations. The increasing use of social media provides instant viewing and propaganda for the destruction of cultural heritage and, in many cases, its irreversible destruction, on the other hand, precision munitions increase the expectation that cultural heritage sites will be spared during conflict. This expectation often leads to increased frustration and disappointment when sites are not protected or become collateral damage. This article examines the role of the targeting process in influencing cultural heritage during conflict.

Политиката на Белград към турското и албанското малцинство в Югославската федерация с акцент на демографията от края на Втората световна война до смъртта на Тито

Author(s): Mariyana STAMOVA / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 2/2024

In the article, the subject of research and analysis is the situation and status of the Turkish and Albanian minorities in the Yugoslav Federation after the Second World War, with an emphasis on Kosovo and Macedonia and the Yugoslav policy towards them. Because of the conflict with Kominform in June 1948 and the deterioration of the Yugoslav-Albanian relationship, the Belgrade leadership was worried about the reaction of the Albanian population in Yugoslavia. At the same time, to limit the demographic and ethnic invasion of the Albanians in Kosovo and Macedonia, Yugoslav authorities started a political campaign for their exportation. After the signing of the Yugoslav-Turkish agreement in 1953, which confirmed the convention from 1938 for the exportation of Turks from Yugoslavia in Turkey, the emigration into Turkey not only of Turks, but also Albanians, was legalized. Albanians in the Yugoslav federation got the possibility to define themselves as “Turks”, and thus to immigrate to Turkey (not Albania). In that way, many Albanians in Yugoslavia, mainly from Kosovo and Macedonia, declared themselves as “Turks”. In those years, Belgrade decided to intensify and renew the idea of emigrating the Muslim population, such as the Turks and Albanians, after World War II.

A Bibliometric Analysis of History Researches on Turkey 1975 – 2023

Author(s): Murat Soysal / Language(s): English Issue: 2/2024

The aim of this study is to exhibit a bibliometric analysis of historical studies on Turkey. A total of 1288 articles from 230 journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database in the years 1975 – 2023 were used in the analysis. The analysis aims to provide a review of historical studies on Turkey by identifying the dynamics of research by presenting the periodical process, current situation, and future directions. The main focus of the analysis is set to the recent history of Turkey. Therefore, the scope of the study was defined as Turkey’s founding period, its aftermath, and the period up to the present day, and accordingly, the keywords ‘Turkey’, ‘Turkish Republic’, and ‘Republic of Turkey’ was utilized in the search query in the WoS database. On the data obtained, it is observed that the word ‘Turkey’ is found to be more than ‘Turkish Republic’ and ‘Republic of Turkey’ in the published articles. Also, most of the studies on Turkey were conducted in Turkey by Turkish authors. In this study, it is observed that the historical studies on Turkey are differentiated not only according to internal developments in Turkey, such as the foundation of the Republic, World War I, nationalism, etc. but also according to the effects of external factors, such as issues concerning asylum seekers/migrants, and regional issues such as the Middle East and the Black Sea.
