EFICIENTIZAREA CALCULULUI DIAMETRELOR CONDUCTELOR PENTRU INSTALAȚIILE DE STINGERE CU SPRINKLERE PRIN UTILIZAREA SOFTULUI EPANET

Author(s): Emanuil-Petru Ovadiuc,Manuel Șerban,Irinel-Ionuț Găman / Language(s): Romanian Publication Year: 0

This article highlights the importance of using EPANET software in the modeling and sizing of water distribution systems, with particular emphasis on the integration of sprinkler heads into the pressurized water network. EPANET is an important tool that allows the simulation and analysis of hydraulic behavior in complex piping systems, being a key tool in the design and optimization of water distribution systems. The paper details the calculation of the equivalent coefficient for sprinklers, the drawing of the isometric scheme in AutoCAD and its import into EPANET through EPACAD. Property allocation involves controlling a number of factors including pipe lengths, diameters and node rating. This is an essential step to getting the correct flow rate at the farthest nozzle. Simulations suggest that successive adjustment of parameters such as pipe diameters produce the desired flow rate. The conclusion of the article highlights the importance of using automatic simulations in the design of fire safety systems.

STUDIUL COMPORTAMENTULUI TERMIC AL CARTONULUI ȘI AL UNOR PRODUSE DE CARTON

STUDIUL COMPORTAMENTULUI TERMIC AL CARTONULUI ȘI AL UNOR PRODUSE DE CARTON

Author(s): Dana-Maria Preda,Ion Anghel / Language(s): Romanian Publication Year: 0

The use of paper and cardboard as packaging and stationery materials is due to their availability, low cost, and recyclability. From a chemical point of view, paper and cardboard are lignocellulosic materials, and their thermal properties are dependent on the chemical composition, which may differ depending on the manufacturing process. Thus, we investigated to what extent the presence of additives and/or the proportion of the three main components (cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) in cardboard and cardboard products available on the market (IKEA paper, white matte cardboard and colored matte cardboard) influences the thermal properties. The samples were analyzed by microscale combustion calorimetry (MCC). MCC tests revealed improvements in thermal properties in the case of white matte cardboard due to the TiO2 content which exhibits a synergistic effect. The total heat release, THR, decreased from 11.07 (kJ/g) for IKEA paper to 8.01 (kJ/g) for white matte cardboard.

EVALUAREA RISCURILOR ÎN CAZUL UTILIZĂRII HIDROGENULUI CA SURSĂ DE ENERGIE ÎN TRANSPORT

EVALUAREA RISCURILOR ÎN CAZUL UTILIZĂRII HIDROGENULUI CA SURSĂ DE ENERGIE ÎN TRANSPORT

Author(s): Aurel Trofin / Language(s): Romanian Publication Year: 0

International, European, and national decarbonization policies aim to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by using energy sources with low carbon emissions, thereby releasing fewer greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Hydrogen is the solution of the future to replace fossil fuels in certain industrial processes that involve high carbon dioxide emissions and currently it is a challenge for each country to develop hydrogen extraction systems and storage capacities, but also to identify solutions for the modernization of some existing hydrogen production units.Firefighters must be aware of new technological trends and the risks that arise with them, be prepared to respond promptly to all emergency situations, and effectively use existing software applications to simulate scenarios as close as possible to real situations. Thus, based on simulations made with Cameo, Aloha, and Marplot software, measures will be established to protect the population, the environment, and, last but not least, professional emergency response staff, depending on the anticipated scenarios.

APPROCHE DIALOGIQUE DES TITRES D’OUVRES D’ART

APPROCHE DIALOGIQUE DES TITRES D’OUVRES D’ART

Author(s): ZELFANI Rim / Language(s): French Publication Year: 0

: Over the course of art history, we have come to know titles of works that have beencirculated, taken up and transformed, such as Eugène Delacroix's La liberté guidant le peuple (1830)by Yue Minjun (1995), Gérard Rancinan (2008) and P Boy (2019), Edouard Manet's Le déjeuner surl'herbe (1863) at Pablo Picasso (1960), Daniel Spoerri (1983) and Seward Johnson (1994) orLeonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa (1503-1506) at Marcel Duchamp (1919), Fernando Botero (1959),Andy Warhol (1963) and Jean Michel Basquiat (1983). Devoted to the interaction between titles ofworks of art, this study is a reflection on the artist's discourse conveyed by the title-name, whichenters into interference with other titles of works of art, both earlier and later. We show how certaintitles are said, taken up again or modified, thereby signalling other titles, other discourses. In theencounter of discourse-titles, the title of a work of art is enriched by new semantic potentialities. Theconcept of Bakhtinian dialogism (1975 [1929]) will be used to examine the interdiscursive dialogismof art titles. The proposed analysis focuses on the mechanisms of reappropriation, reformulation andcirculation of certain artistic titles.
