Relation of the Main Partners (Pupils, Parents, Teachers) to the Personal Oriented Learning and Competencies Developing

The article discusses the components and peculiarities of personal-oriented learning in the Lower secondary school educational degree. The relationship of the participating groups to the “subject-subject” interactions has been investigated. Maximum results in terms of success and competency development can be achieved only in coordination in the synergetic collaboration of the efforts of pupil’s, teachers and parents in relation to the activity of the trainees, their participation in interactive methods, in extra class and extracurricular forms. The family environment has an important influence on the success and achievement of competencies. Pupils with one parent are less successful in extracurricular activities and have lower levels of competencies, requiring greater attention from teachers and families in achieving better results. Pupils evaluate the role of extracurricular learning, self-search and information discovery and the development of self-thinking that prove important to their achievements. All participants in the training process take the approaches, the techniques and the forms through which the open synergetic educational environment is organized and are satisfied with the acquired knowledge when completing the education under the Bulgarian-mathematics-foreign language.

Готовност на подкрепящата среда (учители) за приобщаващо образование на ученици със специални образователни потребности в общообразователното училище

Socialization of children with special educational needs is a multidimensional process with variable dynamics and constantly changing environment, determined not only by objective circumstances but rather by the individual characteristics of the subjects of the socialization and education process. The article presents the results of a pilot study of teachers in order to identify their attitudes and readiness to be actively involved in the process of inclusive education. The main survey method is the survey. The developed survey explores both the theoretical orientation of the problem and the motivational attitudes and the practical readiness of the teachers as the main substructure of the inclusive environment to participate in the process. The purpose of the study is also related to the intention to identify existing deficits in the planning and organization of the inclusive process on the one hand and the additional qualification of pedagogical staff on the other.

ДАРИТЕЛСТВОТО ЗА УЧЕБНОТО ДЕЛО В САМОКОВ ПРЕЗ ВЪЗРАЖДАНЕТО

In this article are examined the various charities that aided the Enlightenment in Samokov during the Bulgarian Revival. The better part of the funds can be attributed to Samokov Eparchy. There is a long list people and organizations that have given not only money but labor for the cause, which is left out from the article for the sake of simplicity. The peak of the generosity of the Bulgarian people is the creation Samokov School of Theology. It later evolves to the Seminary of Samokov after the liberation from the Turks in 1878, after that the good deeds of the people are continued for the years to come.

АВЕРКИЙ ПОПСТОЯНОВ – БУНТАР И ПРОПОВЕДНИК

The text contain the information about Averkiy – one of those Bulgarians, whose particular deserts for the development of the school deed, the fight against the Phanariots, the literature and the national revolutionary fights. He is also a cleric, and author of church chants, and figure of the Bulgarian national Renaissance. He was born in Dupnitsa in 1802 in the family of a priest. As for many figures of the period of the Renaissance there is not much kept information. Averkiy has worked as a teacher for many years. From 1858 to 1878 he is an abbot in the Monastery of Osogovo – “St. Yoakim Osogovski” (today’s Republic of North Macedonia). After the liberation, the Monastery of Osogovo stays within the borders of the Ottoman Empire – this is the reason to movement of Averkiy to the Zhablenski monastery (in the area of Radomir, Bulgaria). He spends his last years reconstructing the monastery Averkiy dies in 1881. We determine Averkiy as a collective figure of the fighters of the epoch of the Bulgarian Renaissance. Clever, highly- educated, devout and sacrificial. This is him – worker for the enlightenment and literature, fighter for church independence, rebellion and preacher.

Changing the focus in modern education from teaching knowledge to acquiring key competences requires the development of new, practically oriented, interactive methodological solutions. The article outlines theoretical perspectives for future investigation, based on the results from lessons carried out according to the Waldorf system of teaching – innovative for Bulgaria. They point to opportunities of developing interdisciplinary teaching in English, Bulgarian (Music, Visual Arts, Philosophy, Citizenship) through (literary) translation as a learning activity. Thus conditions could be created for going beyond a particular subject, hence for learning in the context of universal human themes. This could allow for the acquiring of basic life skills and the integrated development of key competences: literacy competence, multilingual competence, cultural awareness and expression competence, citizenship competence, including intercultural competence.

THE EFFECTS OF SELF-VALORISATION CULTURE ON Z GENERATION’ SELF-ESTEEM

Z generation is so influenced not only by virtual world / communication, by advanced sophisticated and networks, by COVID-19 pandemic, but also by self-valorisation culture. Although they prefer online education because of its freedom for action, Z generation is in risk for an independent self-construction that lead to a devastating individualism for their own life. Our study aims to describe the influence of self-valorisation culture on our candidates’ self-esteem (from Z generation) for Pedagogy and Primary and Preschool Pedagogy. For this purpose, we have analysed the content of their motivational essays – part of their admission file. The results indicate that Z generation candidates’ self-esteem is higher than Y generation candidates’ self-esteem.

The paper examines the extent to which problems from contests in mathematical linguistics meet the Bulgarian educational standards. Compliance indicators are introduced. On the basis of an analysis of the content of individual examples, we conclude that such problems comply highly with the key competencies tested by the National External Assessment after finishing the tenth grade. Some didactic comments are made.

Problems of Cascade Type and their Use for Assessment of Students’ Academic Achievements in Mathematics

Mathematical problems that contain a common condition and an ordered list of tasks are traditionally called cascade problems. Problems of this type are extremely popular during teaching of mathematics. At the same time, they can be used both in the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities (competencies) of students, and to assess their academic achievements. In the paper we give a thorough theoretical analysis of possible types of cascade problems, describe methodology and provide examples of their applications on different stages of studying mathematics at school, in particular, during the final attestation of graduates. According to our statistical survey of mathematics teachers in Ukraine and Republic of Moldova, we clarify their attitude to problems of cascade type, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of using such problems. It is shown that the use of cascading problems in the school course of mathematics contributes to the adequate formation of important competencies of students in their learning process.

A Metagraph Model of Cyber Protection of an Information System

The aim of this article is to present a developed metagraph model which serves to verify the minimum requirements for cyber security in web-based student information management systems. The model presents the correlation between cyber attacks and cyber defense of the system. The protection is based on a created model for cybersecurity 3-12 and is divided into 3 categories – software, server and information system users. The most common 9 cyber attacks on automated information systems have been selected. Twelve countermeasures to these attacks have been selected. The application of the metagraph model is used to check whether the system meets the requirements of the model 3-12. The developed information system has been tested in foreign language training of students at Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy. The developed metagraph model can be applied to other information systems.

Предизвикателства пред образованието в България през призмата на пазара на труда в контекста на влиянието на епидемичната обстановка, свързана с COVID-19

The main problems discussed in this article are related to the study of the effects of the epidemiological situation imposed due to the spread of the coronavirus epidemic on education in Bulgaria through the prism of the labour market. The dynamics of the labour market have been empirically studied and the results show that the crisis with COVID 19 has an impact both economically and socially and at the sectoral level, where a number of structural problems and challenges to public policies and the education system come to the fore. Many sectors have failed to recover, and in combination with quarantine measures and digitalization as a means of maintaining activity, this requires a rethinking of work, knowledge and skills. The education system could provide the necessary knowledge and skills to the workforce, so that in the future the digitalization and flexibility of production and trade in goods and services could become a key factor in dealing with such external shocks.

Preparation of Primary School Teachers for Communicative and Rhetorical Activity in School in the Context of their Practical Training

The article deals with the analysis of the state of the primary schoolteachers’ preparation for communicative-rhetorical activity at school, diagnostics of formation of communicative-rhetorical skills of future teachers. The theorists and practitioners give an important place to rhetoric as a science and an academic subject in the training teachers of the new generation. It is the communicative and rhetorical skills as an important component of the general and professional culture of the teacher that will help the primary school educator to organize the pedagogical process effectively, build convincing communication with children, their parents, colleagues, officials etc. However, in the theory and practice of pedagogical education and science the phenomenon of communicative-rhetorical competence as the most important component of the teacher's professional profile is not realized, its structure is not distinguished, psychological and pedagogical bases and, technology of its formation for students are not clearly defined, the world’s experience of rhetorical personality formation is studied. This was confirmed by the results of a survey conducted among undergraduate students, graduates of pedagogical faculties of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Kamyanets-Podilsky Ivan Ogienko National University, Drohobych State Pedagogical University of Ivan Franko, students of postgraduate pedagogical education Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky, Lviv regions.Thus, most respondents consider their level of communication and rhetorical skills to bein sufficient. More than 70% are afraid of the audience; 84% do not know how to speak “without paperˮ. All respondents, including teachers, regardless of work experience, called the main reason for the ineffectiveness of pedagogical communication the fact that during professional training they did not have well-formed communication and rhetorical skills. The obtained results convincingly prove the need for their purposeful formation in future primary school teachers. Optimal construction and implementation of the educational process for the formation of students’ communicative and rhetorical skills is possible with a technological approach, the essence of which is to modernize the didactic system based on the study of its components and experimental verification of its effectiveness, as well as the introduction of in general, the rhetoric of the initial process in the pedagogical institution.

The study focuses on the educational potential of Bulgarian art museums. The system of these museums is briefly described, indicating the specifics of their cultural activities. The great opportunities for education in-and-through these museums are outlined – with examples and concepts. The thesis about the positives of their wider involvement in the educational process is developed on the basis of data from the work of some art museums. The need to develop emotional intelligence and empathy in students through a deeper reading of art is outlined. In this regard, the role of the treasury of Bulgarian art museums is invaluable.

Изследване нагласите на учителите за използване на ситуационни методи в работата им

In the modern learning process, we are in search of certain ways, which will put every student in an active position. This implies the use of various methods, including the situational method. The present study represents an attempt to examine briefly the attitudes of teachers to the use of situational methods in their pedagogical practice. The main toolkit is a survey with two content areas. The first aims to establish the respondents' understanding of both the nature and the content of the situational method, but also the structure of the learning situation, while the second survey observes the respondents’ readiness to apply it in the learning process. The obtained results give grounds for conclusion with some recommendations for overcoming the weak application of the situational method.

The article reflects the results of a survey among students majoring in Social Pedagogy at Sofia University. The research was conducted through a focus group and a survey and aims to establish the general attitudes for continuing education and career development in the social pedagogy field. The analysis of the results allows to outline guidelines for improving the quality of education and optimizing the curriculum in master's programs in this specialty in order to attract more students and meet the need for qualified and motivated staff working in the social pedagogy sphere.

Easy-to-read in Romania: current status and future perspectives in a European context

As the European Union’s Strategy for people with disabilities has been extended to 2030, emphasising the need for these people’s social inclusion, which also comprises accessibility to different information and documents, Romania has to align its legislation and best practices in order to solve its problems concerning this topic. Therefore, this paper focuses on an important aspect of social inclusion, namely Easy-to-Read (E2R) language, which is paramount for the disabled people’s access to information, culture and education. It starts by presenting the concept of Easy-to-Read across Europe, its perception and implementation by various countries, to finally delve into the current situation of Easy-to-Read in Romania. By looking at the analysis and reports on the previous governmental strategies regarding people with disabilities (and especially reading disabilities, for the purpose of this paper), it can be said that Romania still faces challenges in this respect and needs to work on making documents and information accessible by first creating E2R guidelines and then implementing them in printed documents (e.g. adapted textbooks, healthcare leaflets) as well as in the electronic information (e.g. government websites). The paper also traces some future perspectives concerning Easy-to-Read in Romania, namely the Train2Validate “Professional training for Easy-to-Read facilitators and validators” (T2V) project, an Erasmus+ programme, a collaboration between various European countries, that Romania is part of, which goes one step further into helping people with reading disabilities and creating professional roles for them, i.e. facilitators and validators, in order to integrate them on the employment market. Moreover, this research will hopefully raise awareness of the importance of conducting other studies on creating Easy-to-Read guidelines and on simplifying the text according to the different target groups of people with reading disabilities or difficulties and to different text types.

Ученето чрез дизайн като прагматичен подход за подобряване на професионалното педагогическо образование

Pedagogical education is an important part of the higher education system in Bulgaria. Despite efforts to modernize this system over the past twenty years, there have been changes in the macro-frame of the system, only. On a micro level, such as curricula, curriculum content, teaching methods, stereotypical solutions are supported. There is therefore a need to reform traditional pedagogical education. One way is to change epistemology and teaching methods in undergraduate teacher programs. In the article, a specific example of student learning through an environmental education scenario is described. This will be done in the following steps: – a brief theoretical description of learning by design; – a description of the teaching and learning process through design in the specific example; – a description of ways and means of communication in the learning process. The report is one of the first steps towards conceptualizing research within an interdisciplinary project of the University in Plovdiv, related to the use of "green technologies" in people's daily lives. The article should therefore be regarded as a plan for carrying out the next activities in the project.
