Ac. Apostolov’s activities to establish Balkan cooperation in the field of history and philosophy of medicine are examined. His good professional contacts with scientists from the Balkan countries became the basis for creation of the Balkan Association for the History and Philosophy of Medicine ((BAHРM) in 2005. Co-presidents are prof. Miladin Apostolov and prof. Spiros Marketos(Greece). The journal” Asklepion” became a key scientific center of the activity of BAHPM. The subsequent economic crisis created difficulties, but “Asklepion” continued to be published thanks to the efforts of prof. Apostolov. In 2015 he submitted his resignation for health reasons, but continued to be dedicated to science. At present he is the honorary chairman of BAHPM.

The analysis of the interlanguage, seen as a continuum of transitional language systems proper to the student learning a foreign language, needs a methodology that goes beyond the tight space of the conformity with the norm of the target language. In this paper, we propose a methodology for describing the interlanguage, using the UBR (unique bigram ratio) index by which we can calculate the syntactic diversity of a written production, more precisely the predictability of the word sequences. Some of the results of pretesting this methodology will be presented in this paper.

„The Waves of the Danube” is the Romanian film directed by Liviu Ciulei at the end of the 50s, a controversial creation even from the scriptwriting phase. Even more so, the directing of the film in case sparked at the time different discussions and debates, including some at the highest political level. Considering that the film „The Waves of the Danube” is still running on national TV screens, on different occasions, we consider it necessary to research what happened during the making of this production. Through this article we will expose (in light of official documents from the CNSAS archives) what were the problems with which the film director Liviu Ciulei was confronted during the making of „The Waves of the Danube”, how the Securitate was involved in this production, but also what were the consequences on the private life of the film director after it was screened for the public.

The ancestral spiritual experience, shamanism has always represented a fascination for the human being. Holder of a complex spiritual universe, the shaman is the master of ecstatic journeys, in the Upper world and in the Lower world, between Heaven and Earth. As Mircea Eliade shows, thanks to the experiences gained through "ecstatic trance", only the shaman knows the drama of the human soul, its instability and precariousness. The shaman is the great healer or the great physician of the soul. Starting from the belief that any disease is caused by a deficiency or a major spiritual crisis, the shaman descends into Hell to find the lost soul of the patient and bring it back to the body. The well-known play by Tennessee Williams, "Orpheus in Hell", illustrates the shamanic experience of Val Xavier, (also called Snake Skin), in order to save the soul of his lover – Lady; the modern version of Eurydice. In his capacity as a shaman, Snake Skin has the snake as a protective animal, but also as a master of initiation. The existence of the "animal double" in the character's destiny is the expression of the fact that shamanic powers are embodied in animals and that the role of the shaman consists in discovering them. The defining element of Val Xavier's existence is the guitar, since music is the language secret of the first artist – shaman of mankind: Orpheus!

The integrated ethical principle of economic research naturally focuses on development education and culture in a systemic, globalized sense, with respect for intellectual property the individual (internal and individual ethics of the researcher, proven more and more today by the importance given to plagiarism) and the creative valorization of individuality and honesty in teams (external ethics viewed as an intersection of the probity of the entire team, manifested both on the principle of reciprocity of team members, but also on the principle of subordination to the project of whole team research).
