P amiętajmy, jak Paweł Smoleński pamiętał o przepisie na zbawienie, który Jezus daje u św. Mateusza. Z Pawłem ta wystawa nie ma nic wspólego. Poza losem, który mu się jednak zdarzył i który mnie bardzo przejął – tak jak los wszystkich tych ludzi, jednostek i grup, które spotykam w moim życiu lub które po prostu zaistniały w historii, poddawane prześladowaniom, marginalizacjom. Co jakiś czas ktoś czuje się upoważniony, żeby takie grupy traktować jak osoby kompletnie wykluczone, którym można zrobić wszystko. Żydom w czasie Holocaustu, Ukraińcom na obszarach zajętych przez Rosjan, migrantom przeprawiającym się przez Morze Śródziemne i tym z naszej wschodniej granicy. Wbrew umowom, prawu, poczuciu przyzwoitości i podstawowym intuicjom, wynikającym z Dekalogu czy przepisu na zbawienie, który Jezus daje u św. Mateusza, mówiąc o nakarmieniu głodnych

W roku akademickim 2022/2023 Komisja Badań nad Antykiem Chrześcijańskim rozpoczęła pięćdziesiąty pierwszy rok swej działalności. Podobnie jak w minionych latach był on również wypełniony cyklicznymi spotkaniami na temat chrześcijaństwa w szeroko rozumianym antyku. Ze względu na prośby uczestników posiedzenia przybrały formułę on-line, dzięki czemu wiele osób z ośrodków naukowych z Polski i zagranicy mogło w nich uczestniczyć. Każde ze spotkań obejmowało wykład zaproszonego prelegenta oraz dyskusję. Bogata tematyka poszczególnych posiedzeń, szczegółowo opisana poniżej, oraz różnorodne ujęcia zagadnień z punktu widzenia historyków, teologów, archeologów, historyków sztuki czy też filologów klasycznych stwarzały okazję do interdyscyplinarnego omówienia przedkładanych problemów badawczych. Audytorium obejmowało zazwyczaj około 25 osób, wśród nich wykładowców i studentów różnych polskich uczelni z Warszawy, Krakowa, Poznania, Gdańska, Łodzi, Olsztyna i Lublina.

In this report, we present the results achieved in the Winter ELSA Law School (WELS) Niš, organized in the period from 18 - 25 February 2024 by ELSA Niš. The WELS project aims to allow students from various European countries to acquire new knowledge from different spheres of legal life, make new friendships, and connect with other young lawyers across Europe. The local group ELSA Niš organized this event for the first time in February 2024. In addition to the rich academic program on the topic of “Business Law and IT Law” prepared for the WELS Niš participants, the local group ELSA Niš managed to present the City of Niš and the Serbian culture to our friends from all over Europe. During the five-day event, held on the premises of the Science and Technology Park Niš and the Faculty of Law, University of Niš, our lecturers covered a range of topics which included: the legal framework of information technologies in the European Union, the legal regulation of blockchain technology, strategies for the defense of a joint-stock company against a hostile takeover, the phenomenon of mass tort claims, and many more up-to-date topics in the sphere of Business Law and IT Law. The lecturers who generously participated in the WELS Niš are prominent experts in their fields, including well-known lawyers, businessmen, and professors from the Faculty of Law, University of Niš.

Jubileuszowy rok 70-lecia sieci Szkół Stowarzyszonych UNESCO (ASPnet) zainspirował Polski Komitet ds. UNESCO do organizacji w 2023 r. ogólnopolskiego konkursu na esej poświęcony tematyce dziedzictwa, adresowany do młodzieży ze szkół ponadpodstawowych. Konkurs spotkał się z zainteresowaniem młodych osób i pokazał, że to zagadnienie jest dla nich bardzo żywe, inspirujące i dotyka ważnych spraw. Dlatego konkurs jest kontynuowany.

7 listopada 2023 roku miało miejsce spotkanie online przedstawicieli SIGNIS Europe z Czech, Holandii, Irlandii, Luksemburga, Malty, Niemiec, Rumunii, Węgier oraz Polski. Nasz kraj reprezentował przewodniczący SIGNIS Polska – ks. Krzysztof Ołdakowski, jezuita, który przez wiele lat pełnił funkcję szefa polskiej sekcji Radia Watykan, a jednocześnie był pierwszym szefem SIGNIS Polska – krajowej agendy SIGNIS Europe. Jak napisał w wewnętrznym sprawozdaniu z tego spotkania: „Miało [ono] charakter dzielenia się refleksjami na temat przyszłości SIGNIS EUROPE, szczególnie chodziło o to, w jaki sposób Stowarzyszenie może skuteczniej wspierać działalność swoich członków w Europie”.

„Przepływ informacji gwarancją rozwoju nauki” – pod takim hasłem 26 i 27 czerwca 2023 roku na Wydziale Humanistycznym Uniwersytetu Warmińsko-Mazurskiego odbyło się 52. Międzynarodowe Seminarium Kół Naukowych. Seminarium miało charakter interdyscyplinarny. Jego celem była wymiana myśli naukowej między studentami i doktorantami zrzeszonymi w kołach naukowych działających na uczelniach wyższych w Polsce i za granicą. W tegorocznej edycji wzięło udział 180 studentów i doktorantów z uczelni wyższych w Polsce. Prezentacja wyników badań prowadzonych w studenckich kołach nie tylko poszerza wiedzę studentów i stanowi zaczyn do naukowych debat, ale również integruje młodych naukowców działających w ramach studenckiego ruchu naukowego.

Instituti i Gjuhësisë dhe i Letërsisë organizoi tryezën e rrumbullakët “Variacioni sintaksor në të folmet e shqipes: tipare dhe treva”. Kjo tryezë shkencore u mbajt si një hap vijues mbas konferencës së vitit të kaluar “Variacioni sintaksor në të folmet dhe dialektet e shqipes” në rrugën drejt përgatitjes për projektin e një Atlasi të Sintaksës Dialektore të Shqipes. Tryeza i zhvilloi punimet në sallën “Aleks Buda” të Akademisë së Shkencave më 13 dhjetor 2017, nga ora 10 deri jië ora 16. Kjo tryezë ishte konceptuar në formën e kumtesave dhe diskutimeve të përgatitura për tiparet, trevat dhe metodat e hulumtimit për hartimin e një Atlasi të Sintaksës Dialektore të Shqipes.

This research paper discusses the evolution of the attitude of Stefan Bathory (1576–1586), king of Poland, towards the University of Krakow. Being aware of the university’s obsolete structures and its functioning, the king planned to create an elite royal college, in which foreign scholars, especially Italians, were to provide education. Due to the failure of his plan, Batory changed his attitude towards the University, and became its important patron and benefactor. At the same time, however, he also contributed to the establishment of the Jesuit Vilnius University (1578/1579). The author analyses the monarch’s relations with the Krakow Alma Mater over ten years of his reign, trying to explain the circumstances and motives of his conduct towards Krakow’s university elites.

This paper is summary of an interantional workshop Implementation of Enlightened Reforms and the Egalitarisation of Society, 1750–1850 organized at Charles University, Faculty of Humanities. At this event various historical and sociological aspects of the Enlightenment period were discussed, focusing on the implementation of reforms and the egalitarianization of society between 1750 and 1850. It highlights the role of police as both a repressive and constructive institution, examining its impact on public order, health, and social equality. The workshop organized by Pavel Himl explored these themes through multiple perspectives, including the professionalization of the bureaucratic apparatus, surveillance of foreigners, and the standardization of public administration. Contributions from various scholars provided insights into the evolving nature of state power, public health policies, and the social dynamics of the time. The document also touches on the emotional and gender aspects of early modern society, as discussed in a separate workshop led by Claudia Opitz and Andrea Griesebner. This section emphasizes the interpretation and regulation of emotions and passions within the normative discourses of the period.

Më datën 27 prill 2022, Akademia e Shkencave e Shqipërisë, në bashkëpunim me Departamentin e Studimeve Letrare të Institutit të Gjuhësisë dhe të Letërsisë (ASA), organizoi tryezën shkencore me temë ”Qasje shkencore mbi veprën e Etëhem Haxhiademit: ftesë e shtysë për një rilexim të dramatikës së tij”. Në tryezën e mbajtur në kuadër të 120-vjetorit të lindjes së autorit, dramaturgut, përpiluesit e shqipëruesit Etëhem Haxhiademi, të drejtuar nga prof. as. dr. Evalda Paci dhe dr.Arian Leka, u shtruan për diskutim një sërë çështjesh, që prireshin ndaj nënvizimit të aspekteve themelore të shkrimtarisë së autorit, të rendit kronologjik e stilografik të përvijimit të tyre, të dimensioneve themelore që receptohen në veprat e tij, si dhe në vendin që i përket këtij të fundit në sistemin letrar të periudhës në të cilën zhvilloi veprimtarinë e tij krijuese. Kultivues i një sërë modelesh gjinore, autor përpilimesh të veçanta për nga ndërtimi dhe brendia, njohës i mirë i traditës letrare e socioletrare të kulturës antike, Haxhiademi rivjen dhe në vëmendjen e studiuesve që u bënë pjesë e kësaj tryeze, duke shtruar dhe paraqitur për diskutim tematikat e sipërcituara.

Professor Peter Jusko, an expert in the field of social policy and social work, works at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica at the Department of Social Work, currently as deputy head of the department and guarantor of the master's and doctoral studies in social work. Recently, he has also been meeting with students at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University at the Department of Social Work in the course Theory of Social Policy. Professor Jusko has authored or co-authored more than 200 publications, including more than 20 books, and has been the principal investigator or co-investigator of a number of social research projects in the field of social work, social policy, prevention of risk phenomena and others.
