In a globalized world a chosen, by an individual or a group, lifestyle doesnot make a constatnt element of existance, but just an option, that might be picked onthe basis of social situation, historical moment or geographical placement. Depending onthe fact how deep it is rooted in a recognised value system it may form a less or morepermament shape of everyday life. This rule refers also to lifestyles defined as sustainableor ecological ones. The process of their creation is linked to a deeper reflection onwhat we buy, how we consume and how we organize our everyday activities. It alsodepends on a social and cultural capital of groups and individuals. In their analysis,a reflection on dependence between social and class location of people and a qualityof natural environment they live in appears. A lifestyle, among others, includes suchdimensions of everyday life as: level and character of consumption, ways of spendingfree time, character of social contacts or activities connected with health care and wellness. In the following text chosen aspects of the above are discussed.

Training and Education - Mission of Essence in the Development of the Individual and Society

Training and Education - Mission of Essence in the Development of the Individual and Society

Author(s): Galina Martea / Language(s): English Publication Year: 0

The essential role of education and training is to maintain and develop the intellectual and spiritual balance of the individual in a social environment, thus forming, in time, the appropriate personality and identity. The individual, in his turn, with his knowledge, skills and intellectual and spiritual wealth, accumulated over the years in educational institutions, as well as other education and training structures, will contribute in a decent and civilized mode to the welfare and development of their own society, in this way, giving a meaning to the spiritual, intellectual, as well as material content that brings satisfaction and benefit in personal and social life. Thus, education and training, based on a set of values that are regularly applied to the formation of the intellectual and moral traits of an individual, are those actions that have as objective the evolutionary improvement of the social environment, considered to be the best substance regulated by the individual. Thus, both man and the social environment are both a whole of the existence through which mutual exchange of values and actions takes place, which in the process of development equally necessitates frequent transformations in development.

TOPLUMSAL EKOLOJİ VE ULUSLARARASI HİYERARŞİ

Author(s): Emre Kalay / Language(s): Turkish Publication Year: 0

Author(s): Armağan Örki / Language(s): Turkish Publication Year: 0

Toplumsal olaylar, bireylerin doğru buldukları gerçeklerin hayata geçirilmesi veya yanlış gördüklerinin durdurulması amacıyla gerçekleşen kitlesel tepkilerdir. Barışçıl anlamda gerçekleştirilen toplumsal olaylar yerine, Türkçe dilinde kendine daha geniş yer bulan “protesto” sözcüğünün Türk Dil Kurumu’na göre ilk anlamı “Bir davranışı, bir düşünceyi, bir uygulamayı haksız, yersiz, gereksiz bularak karşı çıkma, kabul etmeme” şeklinde açıklanmıştır. Amacı, yerel veya ulusal mercilerin dikkatini çekerek kamuoyu iradesini kanıtlamak ve yapılış amacının önüne geçilmesidir. Birer sosyal hareket olarak, barışçıl, tepkiyi açıkça belli eden ve dikkat toplamak için farklı yolların denendiği toplumsal olaylar içinde protestolar, şiddet içermez.

О односу еколошких права и политике

Author(s): Slobodan P. Orlović / Language(s): Serbian Publication Year: 0

This article deals with part of the complex relationship of political and ecological activity. This complexity is evident in a number of subjects which deal with ecological issues and in several „green“ national and inter-national policies. Thus, under the term ecological activists we can differentiate between individuals, local, national and international environmental organizations. All of them have influence on different levels of the creation and implementation of policy - local, substate, state and inter-state level. The content of the relationship between ecological and political subject is seen through two kinds of activities. One is direct actions of ecological organizations regarding some specific environmental question. Other activities are pressures with proposals, petitions, and requests to the state authorities to issue a legal act. All these legal acts - local, regional, state and international, constitute a particular „environmental law“. Now, its most important international part is the Aarhus Convention.

Environmental Justice

Environmental Justice

Author(s): Julia M. Puaschunder / Language(s): English Publication Year: 0

Mapping Climate Justice proposes a 3-dimensional environmental justice approach to share economic benefits and the burden of climate change right, just and fair around the globe. Scientific data is backed by ethical imperatives. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) gains and losses of a warming globe are captured to be distributed unequal around the world. The ethical climatorial imperative demands for an equalization of the gains of climate change around the globe in order to offset losses incurred due to climate change (Kant 1783/1993; Puaschunder 2017b, c; Rawls 1971).First, climate justice within a country should pay tribute to the fact that low- and high-income households carry the same burden proportional to their disposable income, for instance, enabled through a progressive carbon taxation, consumption tax to curb harmful behavior and/or corporate inheritance tax to reap benefits of past wealth accumulation that may have caused climate change (Puaschunder 2017c).Secondly, fair climate change change burden sharing between countries ensures those countries benefiting more from a warmer environment also bear a higher responsibility regarding climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts (Puaschunder 2019). Thirdly, climate justice over time is proposed in an innovative climate change burden sharing bonds strategy, which distributes the benefits and burdens of a warming earth Pareto-optimal among generations (Puaschunder 2016a). All these recommendations are aimed at sharing the burden but also the benefits of climate change within society in an economically efficient, legally equitable and practically feasible way now and also between generations.
