Ocena bezpieczeństwa żywnościowego i samowystarczalności żywnościowej Polski na tle państw Unii Europejskiej
The aim of the paper is to assess Poland’s food security as compared to selected European Union countries. The analysis used the Global Food Security Index, which allows to determine the level of food security in individual countries, including: food affordability, food availability, food quality, and food safety. The assessment of natural resources and resilience was conducted separately. This made it possible to look at the determinants of food security in individual countries. In addition, the strengths and challenges of Poland’s food security have been presented.
