Кои са най-ефективните преподавателски методи в обучението по природни науки (и по-големият брой учебни часове означава ли непременно по-високи резултати – по данни на PISA 2015)

Author(s): Svetla Petrova / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 5/2018

The article analyzes the relationship between teaching methods and their effectiveness in the science learning. It is based on the science component of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). In most educational systems participated in PISA, including Bulgaria, using teacher directed and adaptive instruction is associated with better scores on science. By contrast, inquiry-based instruction is associated with lower achievement in science. Why is that? Does it mean that the PISA findings do not support the conviction that the development of science skills through inquiry is a vital part of learning science in school. These are the questions that are investigated in the article. The author is a PISA 2015 National Project Manager in Bulgaria.

Author(s): Svetla Kjoseva / Language(s): Bulgarian Issue: 1/2019

The training in Bulgarian language in Hungary has its old traditions. If we turn our attention even to the last great migratory wave of Bulgarian gardeners (the second half of the IXX and the beginning of the XX century), we can account for almost 100-year history, which has its historical and content stages. The paper attempts to track the development of curricula at different government levels, taking into account the conflict situations that arise in the course of such an activity, the approaches for overcoming the difficulties, the efforts to reconcile the opportunities provided by the Hungarian education system and its synchronization with the Bulgarian state standards. The text reflects efforts to create such standards and a system of requirements that meet best the local needs without detracting from the level of education.

This seems particularly clear in the territories inhabited by people of ethnic groups that are not dominant and constitute the centralized European powers such as unified Germany and Russia. The article presents some aspects of the Russia‘s cultural policy towards Polish lands in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Part of this policy is the construction of monumental objects with civilian or religious purpose in the Polish cities, whose architecture hints at Russian traditions and their functions are considered a symbol of foreign domination.
