Based on the literature on the subject and his own observations the author has drawn the conclusion that in order to prevent secondary interference a comprehensive approach is necessary during the instruction of pronunciation. Orthophonie and orthoepic exercises should be conducted at all phonetic levels - sounds, accents, and intonation with regard to lexical and morphosyntactical areas during the mastering of particular forms of language competence.

The characterization of errors appearing under the influence of phonetic-graphic, formative and semantic premises was presented in the article. The premises made the cause for identification the meaning of an unknown word. The types of premises (mentioned above) determine the process of recognition of the unknown lexical unit and, according to the domination of one of these premises, specified incorrect reaction of a pupil. The character of the errors and mistakes allowed to determine psycholinguistical mechanism of establishing connections between the word-stimulator and its inner correlant.

Instead of an authentic Cyrillic alphabet the foreign students amazingly often use some kind of calligraphic hybrid, based on the Latin alphabet. The explanation of the matter can be found in the defective training of Russian teachers abroad. The correcting of this unsatisfactory situation must begin first of all by the calligraphic training of Russian teachers by means of giving them theoretical knowledge as well as practical abilities.
