Summary/Abstract: The characterization of errors appearing under the influence of phonetic-graphic, formative and semantic premises was presented in the article. The premises made the cause for identification the meaning of an unknown word. The types of premises (mentioned above) determine the process of recognition of the unknown lexical unit and, according to the domination of one of these premises, specified incorrect reaction of a pupil. The character of the errors and mistakes allowed to determine psycholinguistical mechanism of establishing connections between the word-stimulator and its inner correlant.
